Important

◗Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to
the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

◗If the adapter or charging base is damaged, always have it replaced
by one of the original type to avoid a hazard.
◗FC6092 only: if the car cord or car plug is damaged, stop using
the car cord and have it replaced by one of the original type.
◗Never suck up water or any other liquid. Never suck up ashes
until they are cold.
◗Never immerse the vacuum cleaner, the adapter or the charging
base in water.
◗Remove the adapter from the wall socket before cleaning the
charging base.
◗Only charge the vacuum cleaner with the adapter and charging
base supplied. During charging, the adapter will feel warm to the
touch.This is normal.
◗Always switch the vacuum cleaner off after use.
◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
◗The voltage on the contact points in the charging base is low
(max. 30 volts) and therefore not dangerous.
◗Never block the exhaust air openings during vacuuming.
◗Switch the appliance off when recharging it.
◗To avoid the risk of electric shock, be careful when drilling holes
in the wall to attach the wall mounting bracket, especially close to
a wall socket.
◗Always use the appliance with the filter unit.
◗Always use the appliance with the nozzle insert in place.
Preparing for use
Attaching the charging base to the wall
1Screw the wall mounting bracket to the wall with the screws
supplied with the appliance (fig. 2).
2Attach the charging base to the wall mounting bracket (fig. 3).
3Attach the nozzle & stick holder to the wall mounting bracket
(FC6094 only).
4Screw the nozzle & stick holder to the wall with the screws
supplied with the appliance.

5You can also place the charging base on a level and horizontal
surface (fig. 4).
6Slide the brush tool onto the crevice tool and place them in the
charging base (fig. 5).
7FC6094 only: insert the telescopic stick and the floor nozzle into
the nozzle & stick holder ('click') (fig. 6).
Charging the appliance
Charge the appliance for at least 18 hours before you use it for the first
time.
When the charging light starts blinking during operation, the battery
pack is running low and needs to be recharged.
1Insert the small plug into the charging base and insert the adapter
into the wall socket (fig. 7).
◗The charging light will go on to indicate that the appliance is
charging (fig. 8).
BThe charging light will stay on as long as the appliance is placed on the
charging base and the adapter is in the wall socket.
BThe charging light does not give any information about the charge level
of the built-in battery pack.
Using the appliance
1Push the on/off slide forwards to switch the appliance on (fig. 9).
2Push the on/off slide backwards to switch the appliance off
(fig. 10).
3Leave the adapter in the wall socket and always put the vacuum
cleaner back onto the charging base after use, even if the battery
pack is still almost fully charged.

Tools
This appliance comes with the following tools:
1brush tool for cleaning delicate surfaces
2crevice tool for cleaning hard-to-reach places
3bendable crevice tool for cleaning at an angle (FC6092/6090 only)
1Take the tool you want to use.
2Attach the tool to the detachable nozzle (fig. 11).
Car cord (FC6092 only)
With the car cord you can connect the vacuum cleaner to the cigarette
lighter socket in your car and use it as long as necessary without having
to recharge it.
1Insert the small plug of the car cord in the socket of the
appliance and insert the car plug in the cigarette lighter socket of
your car (fig. 12).
The car cord cannot be used to charge the appliance.
2Detach the car cord from the appliance by pressing the button
on the small plug.
To prevent damage, do not pull the small plug out of the appliance
without pressing the button.
Extra reach (FC6094 only)
1Attach the telescopic stick by pushing it firmly into the back of
the appliance until it locks into position ('click') (fig. 13).
The telescopic stick gives you extra reach when cleaning hard floors,
carpets and hard-to-reach areas.
2Then attach the floor nozzle to the detachable nozzle (fig. 14).
The floor nozzle can be used to vacuum hard floors and carpets.
The floor nozzle is equipped with a fluff collector that removes hair or
fluff.

BPass the fluff collector gently over the hairs or fluff to be removed.The
hairs or fluff will be worked loose from the surface, collected and then
sucked up.
3Adjust the stick to the length you find most comfortable during
vacuum cleaning by pushing the ring downwards and pulling the
upper part of the stick upwards (fig. 15).
4To detach the telescopic stick, press the release button on the
back of the vacuum cleaner and pull the stick out of the appliance
(fig. 16).
Cleaning
Always remove the adapter from the wall socket before cleaning the
charging base.
Never immerse the vacuum cleaner, the adapter or the charging base
in water.
1Clean the charging base and the appliance with a damp cloth.
Dust compartment and filters
Make sure you empty the dust compartment and clean the filters
regularly.
We advise you to clean the filters every 2 to 4 weeks to maintain
optimal suction performance.
Quick cleaning
To quickly empty the dust compartment:
1Remove the detachable nozzle by pressing the nozzle release
button (fig. 17).
2Shake the contents of the dust compartment out into a dustbin
(fig. 18).
Thorough cleaning
To thoroughly clean the dust compartment and the filter unit:

1Hold the appliance over a dustbin, press the dust compartment
release button (1) and remove the dust compartment (2) (fig. 19).
2Take the filter unit out of the dust compartment (fig. 20).
3Empty the dust compartment by shaking it out with your free
hand.
4To clean the filter, remove the outer filter from the filter holder
by turning it anticlockwise (fig. 21).
5Remove the inner filter from the filter holder by gently turning it
anticlockwise (fig. 22).
6Clean the inner filter and the outer filter with the cleaning brush
supplied (fig. 23).
Brush the inner filter from the top downwards along the ribs of the
filter.
◗If necessary, you can clean the outer filter and the inner filter in
cold or lukewarm water.
The inner filter and outer filter are not dishwasher-proof.
7Attach the inner filter to the filter holder by turning it clockwise
(fig. 24).
8Place the outer filter back onto the filter holder and fasten it by
turning it clockwise (fig. 25).
9Place the filter unit back into the dust compartment (fig. 26).
Never put the filter unit back into the dust compartment when the
outer filter and inner filter are still wet.
10 To clean the detachable nozzle, press the nozzle release button
to remove the detachable nozzle from the appliance (fig. 17).
11 Pull the nozzle insert out of the detachable nozzle.
◗Both the nozzle insert and the detachable nozzle can be cleaned
in warm water with some washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.
Make sure the nozzle insert and the detachable nozzle are dry before
you reattach them to the appliance.

12 Reattach the dust compartment to the body of the vacuum
cleaner ('click').
Replacement
◗Replace the inner filter if it can no longer be cleaned properly
(usually after having been cleaned about 50 times).
1Take the filter unit out of the dust compartment (fig. 20).
2Remove the outer filter from the filter holder by turning it
anticlockwise (fig. 21).
3Remove the inner filter from the filter holder by gently turning it
anticlockwise (fig. 22).
4Attach a new inner filter to the filter holder (fig. 24).
5Reattach the outer filter to the filter holder (fig. 25).
◗New inner filters can be obtained at Philips service centres.
Environment
◗Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household
waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection
point for recycling. By doing this you will help to preserve the
environment (fig. 27).
Disposal of the battery pack
NiCd/NiMH batteries can be harmful to the environment and may
explode if exposed to high temperatures or fire.
◗Always remove the battery pack before handing the appliance in
at an official collection point. Dispose of the battery pack at an
official collection point for batteries. If you have trouble removing
the battery pack, you can also take the appliance to a Philips
service centre, which will remove the battery pack for you and
will dispose of it in an environmentally safe way.
Only remove the battery pack if it is completely empty.
Remove the battery pack in the following way.

1Let the appliance run until it stops, loosen and remove the screws
and open the vacuum cleaner (fig. 28).
2Cut the connecting wires one by one and remove the battery
pack (fig. 29).
Saving energy
If you are not going to use the appliance for a longer period of time, we
advise you to remove the adapter from the wall socket to save energy.

◗Laden Sie den Staubsauger nur mit dem mitgelieferten Netzteil

◗Bei dem Bohren von Befestigungslöchern für die

Steckdose) ist besondereVorsicht geboten, um das Risiko eines
elektrischen Schlags zu vermeiden.
◗Verwenden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit Filtereinheit.

Für den Gebrauch vorbereiten
Die Ladestation an der Wand befestigen
1Befestigen Sie die Wandhalterung mit den beigefügten Schrauben
an der Wand (Abb. 2).
2Befestigen Sie die Ladestation an der Wandhalterung (Abb. 3).
3Befestigen Sie den Düsen- und Rohrhalter an der Wandhalterung
(nur FC6094).
4Befestigen Sie den Düsen- und Rohrhalter mit den im
Lieferumfang des Geräts enthaltenen Schrauben.
5Sie können die Ladestation auch auf eine ebene und waagerechte
Unterlage legen (Abb. 4).
6Schieben Sie den Bürstenaufsatz auf die Fugendüse und legen Sie
beide in die Ladestation (Abb. 5).
7Nur FC6094: Setzen Sie das Teleskoprohr und die Bodendüse in
den Düsen- und Rohrhalter. Sie rasten hörbar ein (Abb. 6).
Das Gerät laden
Laden Sie das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch mindestens 18 Stunden
lang auf.
Wenn die Ladeanzeige beim Staubsaugen anfängt zu blinken, sind die
Akkus fast leer und müssen wieder aufgeladen werden.
1Stecken Sie den kleinen Stecker in die Ladestation, und stecken
Sie das Netzteil in die Steckdose (Abb. 7).
◗Die Ladeanzeige leuchtet auf und zeigt an, dass das Gerät
aufgeladen wird (Abb. 8).
BDie Ladeanzeige leuchtet, solange sich das Gerät in der Ladestation
befindet und das Netzteil in der Steckdose steckt.
BDie Ladeanzeige gibt keine Information über den Ladestand der
integrierten Akkus.

Das Gerät verwenden
1Schieben Sie den Netzschalter nach vorn, um das Gerät
einzuschalten (Abb. 9).
2Schieben Sie den Netzschalter zurück, um das Gerät
auszuschalten (Abb. 10).
3Lassen Sie das Netzteil in der Steckdose, und setzen Sie das
Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch wieder in die Ladestation, auch
wenn die Akkus noch fast vollständig geladen sind.
Zubehör
Saugwerkzeuge
Das Gerät wird mit folgendem Zubehör geliefert:
1Bürstenaufsatz zum Reinigen empfindlicher Oberflächen
2Fugendüse zum Reinigen schwer erreichbarer Stellen
3Biegsame Fugendüse zum Reinigen in abgewinkelter Position
(nur FC6092/6090).
1Nehmen Sie das gewünschte Zubehörteil.
2Setzen Sie das Zubehörteil auf die abnehmbare Düse (Abb. 11).
Autoadapterkabel (nur FC6092)
Mit dem Autoadapterkabel können Sie den Staubsauger an die
Zigarettenanzünderbuchse in Ihrem Auto anschließen und ganz ohne
Aufladen solange verwenden, wie Sie es wünschen.
1Stecken Sie den kleinen Stecker des Autoadapterkabels in die
Gerätebuchse und den Autostecker in die
Zigarettenanzünderbuchse in Ihrem Auto (Abb. 12).
Sie können das Gerät nicht mithilfe des Autoadapterkabels aufladen.
2Entfernen Sie das Autoadapterkabel vom Gerät, indem Sie auf die
Taste am Gerätestecker drücken.
Entfernen Sie den Gerätestecker immer mithilfe dieserTaste, um
Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.

Verlängerte Reichweite (nur FC6094)
1Schieben Sie das Teleskoprohr fest in die Rückseite des Geräts. Es
rastet hörbar ein (Abb. 13).
DasTeleskoprohr vergrößert die Reichweite beim Reinigen von
Hartböden,Teppichen und schwer erreichbaren Stellen.
2Befestigen Sie die Bodendüse an der abnehmbaren Düse
(Abb. 14).
Die Bodendüse eignet sich zum Saugen von Hartböden und Teppichen.
Sie verfügt über einen Flusensammler, um Haare und Flusen
aufzusaugen.
BFühren Sie den Flusensammler leicht über die Flusen oder Haare, die
Sie entfernen möchten. So werden die Flusen oder Haare vom
Untergrund gelöst, aufgesammelt und anschließend aufgesaugt.
3Stellen Sie das Rohr auf eine für Sie angenehme Länge beim
Staubsaugen ein, indem Sie den Ring nach unten und den oberen
Teil des Rohrs nach oben drücken (Abb. 15).
4Das Teleskoprohr kann entfernt werden, indem Sie die
Entriegelungstaste auf der Rückseite des Staubsaugers drücken
und das Rohr aus dem Gerät ziehen (Abb. 16).
Reinigung
Trennen Sie stets das Netzteil von der Steckdose, bevor Sie die
Ladestation reinigen.
Tauchen Sie den Staubsauger, das Netzteil oder die Ladestation nicht
in Wasser.
1Reinigen Sie die Ladestation und das Gerät mit einem feuchten
Tuch.
Staubkammer und Filtereinheit
Leeren Sie die Staubkammer und reinigen Sie Filterhalter und
Staubbeutel regelmäßig.

Reinigen Sie die Filter alle 2 bis 4 Wochen, um eine optimale
Saugleistung zu bewahren.
Schnellreinigung
So kann die Staubkammer schnell gereinigt werden:
1Entfernen Sie die abnehmbare Düse, indem Sie auf die
Düsenentriegelungstaste drücken (Abb. 17).
2Leeren Sie den Inhalt der Staubkammer in einen Mülleimer
(Abb. 18).
Gründliche Reinigung
So reinigen Sie die Staubkammer und Filtereinheit gründlich:
1Halten Sie das Gerät über einen Mülleimer, drücken Sie auf die
Entriegelungstaste der Staubkammer (1), und entfernen Sie die
Staubkammer (2) (Abb. 19).
2Nehmen Sie die Filtereinheit aus der Staubkammer (Abb. 20).
3Entleeren Sie die Staubkammer, indem Sie sie mit der freien Hand
ausschütteln.
4Zum Reinigen des Staubbeutels lösen Sie den Staubbeutelhalter
vom Filterhalter, indem Sie ihn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen
(Abb. 21).
5Nehmen Sie den Staubbeutel vom Filterhalter, indem Sie ihn
vorsichtig gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen (Abb. 22).
6Reinigen Sie Staubbeutel und Staubbeutelhalter mit der
mitgelieferten Reinigungsbürste (Abb. 23).
Bürsten Sie den Staubbeutel von oben nach unten entlang der Rillen.
◗Falls erforderlich, können Sie Staubbeutelhalter und Staubbeutel
auch mit kaltem oder lauwarmem Wasser reinigen.
Staubbeutel und Staubbeutelhalter sind nicht spülmaschinengeeignet.

7Befestigen Sie den Staubbeutel mit einer Drehung im
Uhrzeigersinn am Filterhalter (Abb. 24).
8Befestigen Sie den Staubbeutelhalter mit einer Drehung im
Uhrzeigersinn wieder am Filterhalter (Abb. 25).
9Setzen Sie die Filtereinheit wieder in die Staubkammer (Abb. 26).
Setzen Sie die Filtereinheit nicht zurück in die Staubkammer, solange
Staubbeutelhalter und Staubbeutel noch feucht sind.
10 Zum Reinigen der abnehmbaren Düse drücken Sie auf die
Düsenentriegelungstaste, um die Düse vom Gerät zu entfernen
(Abb. 17).
11 Ziehen Sie den Düseneinsatz aus der abnehmbaren Düse.
◗Sowohl der Düseneinsatz als auch die abnehmbare Düse können
in warmem Wasser mit etwas Spülmittel oder im Geschirrspüler
gereinigt werden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Düseneinsatz und abnehmbare Düse trocken
sind, bevor Sie sie wieder in das Gerät einsetzen.
12 Setzen Sie die Staubkammer wieder in den Staubsauger ein. Sie
rastet hörbar ein.
Ersatzteile
◗Wechseln Sie den Staubbeutel, wenn er sich nicht mehr
ordentlich reinigen lässt. Das ist normalerweise nach ca. 50
Reinigungen notwendig.
1Nehmen Sie die Filtereinheit aus der Staubkammer (Abb. 20).
2Nehmen Sie den Staubbeutelhalter vom Filterhalter, indem Sie ihn
vorsichtig gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen (Abb. 21).
3Nehmen Sie den Staubbeutel vom Filterhalter, indem Sie ihn
vorsichtig gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen (Abb. 22).
4Befestigen Sie einen neuen Staubbeutel am Filterhalter (Abb. 24).
