Assembly and operating instructions
Stainless steel stand for hammocks
LUNO

Important (concerns step 2 of the assembly):
Make sure that the line markings (G) match so that
the cap nut screws (C) can be screwed perfectly
into the threads. Observe the stickers on the tubes
A1+B1 and A2+B2 for the footrests. The 4 cap nut
screws (C) can only be screwed in when the lines
match (1 : 1 line and 2 : 2 lines).
LUNO stainless steel stand
First of all for orientation: This is what the fully as-
sembled LUNO looks like. By the way: The LUNO
stainless steel stand can be assembled by one per-
son alone. You should only be able to handle the
13 mm wrench.
1st step
Place a half arch (A1) upright so that it stands on
the ground with both ends like a „bridge“. The
easiest way to do this is to take the half arch bet-
ween your legs to have your hands free for the
next steps.
Step 2 / Important:
On the pipe ends (A1+B1) there is a sticker (G)
with line markings (1 line + 2 lines). These tube
parts must be inserted into the support tubes of
the stand to match the line markings (G) (1 : 1 line
and 2 : 2 lines). If necessary, rotate the tubes so
that the strokes match perfectly. Insert both cap
nut screws (C) in holes and tighten with a 13 mm
spanner.
Step 3
Repeat steps 1+2, observing the line markings (G),
with half arch (A2) and foot part (B2) and both cap
nut screws (C).

Step 4
Now the two half arches (A) are brought together
in the middle (D) and screwed together. To do this,
place the two bent stainless steel tubes on the
screwed-on foot sections (B).
Step 5
Now push the two half arches (A) together so that
the two plates with the 2 drill holes t exactly to-
gether. Insert the two 13 mm screws (D) through
the holes in the two plates and screw on the nuts
(D). Now tighten both half arches very tightly with
the 13 mm spanner (F).
Ready, you can now clamp the hammocks into the
LUNO stand.

Stainless steel care
Recommended:
Stainless steel is the modern material of our time,
hard-wearing, robust and easy to clean. Clean
stainless steel pipes only with a non-abrasive clea-
ning agent. Often a strong rubbing with a soft,
clean cloth is sucient. Water with dishwashing
detergent removes almost any dirt. For intensive
care we recommend „Stainless Steel Polish“ from
Starbrite.
Unsuitable:
Do not use abrasive substances as they will scratch
the surface. Chrome, silver and brass care products
are not suitable, as they dissolve oxides. Furniture
polishes and other „shiners“ are also unsuitable as
they form a wax lm. Metal sponges or iron wool
(often black metal) are not suitable, as they scratch
the surface and leave rusting iron particles.
Use and Safety Instructions
Read the manual before use and keep it for further
questions. For safety reasons, set up the stand with
2 adults. The stand must be set up at ground le-
vel, on a solid oor that does not give way. Regu-
larly check the technical parts. Weight load LUNO
150kg.
The hammock stand is not a rocking stand. Strong
rocking is transferred to the stand attachments
and can cause damage. These are excluded from
the warranty because of incorrect use. Children
should only use the hammock in the presence of
adults and should not be left unattended.

LUNO hammock combinations

for 1 person, up to 150 kg., TÜV approved.
CLIPPER hammock:
The CLIPPER is a bar-less hammock with decisive
advantages over conventional hammocks of this
type: The back does not sag, it does not fold over
the person lying in it, you can lie straight, it is extre-
mely durable, weatherproof and easy to use. These
and other special features have led to the fact that
it has the EU and US patent.
CLIPPER is for 1 person, up to 150 kg., TÜV-tested.
