Dear Valued Pioneer Customer:
We would like to inform you of the availability of a free firmware update (version 1.06) for the following Pioneer In-Dash Navigation
units: AVIC-Z150BH, AVIC-X950BH, and AVIC-X850BT. This firmware update applies only to AVIC-Z150BH, AVIC-X950BH, and
AVIC-X850BT units sold in the United States and Canada. This update (version 1.06) contains the following improvements:
Fixes Pandora connectivity issues when the Pioneer In-Dash Navigation unit is connected to an iPhone running iOS7.
Provides audible incoming call notification even when the Beep Volume has been turned off.
This notice explains how to obtain the free firmware update for the AVIC-Z150BH, AVIC-X950BH, and AVIC-X850BT.
HOW TO OBTAIN THE FREE FIRMWARE UPDATE:
1. Download the firmware update files to a computer from the Pioneer website:

2. Transfer the files to a (micro)SD Card for insertion into the Pioneer AVIC-Z150BH, AVIC-X950BH, or AVIC-X850BT In-Dash
Navigation unit.
HOW TO DETERMINE IF THE FIRMWARE UPDATE HAS ALREADY BEEN INSTALLED:
1. Press the HOME Key to display the main menu:
2. Press the Information button

3. On the information screen, touch and hold the ‘Info’ area of the screen as shown:
4. The Service Information screen will appear. If the Application Version shown is 1.06 or higher, the firmware update has already
been applied and no further steps are required. If the Firmware Version is lower than 1.06, you can proceed with the firmware
update.
