Attaching/Detaching the cable
<To attach the cable>
Confirm the left-right orientation of the headphones
by
locating the LEFT and RIGHT markings on the headphones' sliders.
Connect the cable marked L to the headphones' LEFT connector, and the cable marked R to the RIGHT connector.

Holding the L cable plug, pull away from the headphones to detach. Detach the R cable plug
in
the same way.
CAUTION: Do not pull
on
the cord when detaching, since the wires inside the cable may break.

Adjusting the slider position
The adjustable slider makes it possible to adjust the headphones to provide optimal wearing comfort.

Connection
To
connect the headphones to a stereo amplifier
or
other
component equipped with a standard audio 6.3
mm
stereo
jack, insert the headphones' cable plug into the
jack

CAUTION: These headphones are equipped with a
standard 06.3 mm stereo plug.
To
connect this
plug to an audio device equipped with a 3.5
mm stereo mini jack, you must purchase a
commercially available 6.3
mm
to 3.5 mm plug
adapter.
Two tension rods for wide range
of
tension adjustment
This product is provided with two kinds
of
tension rod, thus allowing the headphones to be adjusted to a variety
of
conditions
and optimum comfort. By adjusting the tension rod, the headphones' side pressure can be better matched for individual users.

adjust for weaker side pressure>
Install tension rod A (factory default).
<To adjust for stronger side pressure>
Install tension rod B (included with headphones as standard
accessory).

Tension rod A has two (2) grooves.

one
(1) groove.
CAUTION: Do not flex the tension rod excessively, since it
may
become deformed and no longer return to its original shape.
This may make it impossible to install the rod properly on the headphones.

Press the band
holder's
release
button
in
the
direction
indicated
by
the
arrow
(A),
allowing
the
tension
rod
to
move in the
direction
(B).
2.
Hold the
slip-resistant
end
of
the
tension
rod between
thumb
and
forefinger
and pull
it
in the
direction
of
the
upward
arrow,
thus
releasing
that
end
of
the rod
from
the
band holder. Perform the same operation on
the
opposite
end
of
the
tension
rod,
thus
releasing
both
ends.
3.
When
installing
a
tension
rod,
insert
the end
of
the rod
to
the
hole
in the band
holder
and press
in
firmly
to
the
1
full
depth
of
the
hole.

setting your

• Set
your
vo
lume
control at a low setting.
• Slowly increase the sound until you can hear it
comfortably and clearly,
without
distortion.
• Once you have established a comfortable sound
level, set the dial and leave it there.

Adjust headphones sound to the proper volume. Loud sound may damage your ears.
For traffic safety, never use the headphones while riding a bicycle, motor bike, or while driving a
car. It is dangerous to
increase the sound volume too much because you cannot hear external sounds; take great care about traffic around you.

Never inspect the inside OR remodel this machine. If the customer remodels this machine, PIONEER will no longer
guarantee its performance.
Precautions for use
Caution should be observed during use, since adjustable parts may pinch the user's hair, depending on the way in which
headphones are used.
Do not subject the headphones to strong forces or impacts, since damage could occur to the exterior appearance or
product performance.
Any attempt to disassemble or modify the construction
of the headphones will invalidate the warranty.
Avoid using
in locations exposed to high levels of dust or sand, since the headphones may get damaged.
When headphones are dirty, wipe with a
dry, soft cloth. Take care not to blow into the speaker unit.
Sound quality might deteriorate or sound maybe interrupted if the plug
is dirty. Keep the plug clean by wiping it with a soft,
dry cloth occasionally.
These headphones have been designed for typical home use.
Do not use them in other applications (e.g., continuous use
as part
of a store demonstration, etc.).
These headphones have been designed to reproduce normal music signals, and should not
be used to play metering
signals (continuous wave, etc.).
Do not use these headphones to play high-volume signals exceeding the published maximum input limits.
Ear pads may degrade over long periods of use or storage.
In this event consult your dealer.
If any itching or skin discomfort occurs during use, cease use immediately.
