Instructions for Installing the Pioneer Asterisk ST-EP4
OPOS DRIVERS
This guide will go over how to install the Pioneer Asterisk ST-EP4 using OPOS drivers,
and how to set it up with CornerStore

Step 1: Download the drivers here for Windows XP/VISTA/7/8:
http://cornerstorepos.com/downloads/hardware/ST-EP4_OPOS
Step 2: Right click the ST-EP4_OPOS.zip folder after download in Downloads folder and select Extract All…

Step 3: Select Extract.
Step 4: In your Downloads folder there should be a folder called ST-EP4_OPOS. Open it, click on OPOS folder,
then English folder, and then double click the STEP4_OPOS.exe file.

Step 5: Click Next
Step 6: Select “I accept….” and then click Next

Step 7: Select No registry file and click Next
Step 8: Select Developer and click Next

Step 9: Click Next
Step 10: Choose the correct port you are using and click Next

Step 10: Click Finish
Step 11: Go to Start, All Programs, Thermal Printer, ST-EP4, OPOS, and open SetupPOS

Step 12: Drop down the Device menu and right click POSPrinter and click Add New Device
Step 13: Click Next

Step 14: Click Make Port
Step 15: Click the Port Type drop down menu and select USB and click OK

Step 16: Click Port Settings drop down menu and select the USB one
Step 17: Click Start

Step 18: If you see the OPOS_SUCCESS, your printer should have printed a small test print and is now ready to
be setup in CornerStore.
Setting the Printer up with CornerStore
Go to Setup > Hardware Setup.Then under the Printers Tab, uncheck “If you are using windows drivers please
check this box”. Then select Receipt and on the right of that select the ST-EP4U. Select your print receipt
settings and click Save.
Your printer should now work with CornerStore!
