When using an electric appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the
following:

DANGER OF SCALDING
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
¾Do not use outdoors.
¾Do not leave steamer unattended while switched on. Turn off the switch and unplug the
electrical cord when not in use and before servicing.
¾Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used near children,
pets or plants.
¾This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
¾Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
¾Never turn the appliance over or on its side when using steam. Never direct steam
towards people, animals or plants, or equipment containing components.
¾Do not immerse the steamer into water or other liquids. Always unplug the power cord
from the electrical socket when filling the steam cleaner.
¾Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If steamer is not working as it should, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or immersed into water, return it to the distributor
before continuing use. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
¾Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord
around sharp edges or corners. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
¾Do not use extension cords or outlets with inadequate current carrying capacity.
¾Turn off all controls before unplugging from electrical outlet.
¾Unplug after use. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the
cord.
¾Do not handle plug or steam cleaner with wet hands or operate without shoes.
¾Do not insert any objects into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked.
¾Do not use without floor cloth in place.
¾Do not use on stairs.
¾Store your steamer indoors in a cool, dry area.
¾Keep your work area well lighted.
¾Never put desiccating, aromatic, alcoholic or detergent products into the steam cleaner,
as this may damage it or make it unsafe for use.
¾Before filling, proceed as follows:
1) Turn off the steam cleaner
2) Unplug the power supply
3) Wait until unit cools before emptying. Do not open water tank
while in use.
4) Slowly unscrew cap
¾Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended
accessories and service agent.

DESCRIPTION
Thank you andcongratulations for choosingthe Piranha FloorSteamer.The Steamer isa
new way ofcleaning that iseffective andfar more hygienicthan conventional methods.
The Piranha FloorSteamer achieves ahigh degree ofhygienic and decreasingcleansing
power by converting water into steam using a 100% cotton floor cloth enhancing
absorbency.When contact ismade with floorsurfaces, dirt andgrime can beeliminated in
a matter ofseconds.
Since the Piranha Floor Steamer uses the active power of steam without the use of
detergents or soap,it is environmentallyfriendly.
The Piranha Floor Steamer does not allow calcium deposits to adhere to the boiler and
does not requiredistilled water. Residents in areaswith hard water should use distilled
water for betterperformance.
When used correctly the Floor Steamer can kill dust mites and some types of bacteria,
such as salmonellaand E-coli.
To disinfect a specific area, position the steamer over the area for a minimum of eight
seconds. The steam temperature willreach to approximately100 C (212 F). Use this
procedure to disinfect floors near: bathroom stools, kitchen counters, pet sleeping
quarters, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS FORUSE
The Piranha Floor Steamer is designed to thoroughly clean floor surfaces, such as
marble, ceramic, stone,linoleum, sealed hardwood floors andparquet.
WARNING:On surfacesthat have beentreated with wax,the wax maybe removed by
the heat andsteam action. Donot use onunsealed wood floorsor let unit
stand on anywood floor foran extended periodof time. Thiscould cause
the wood grain to rise. It is therefore recommended that a sample
cleansing be carried out on an isolated area of the floor. It is also
recommended that youcheck the useand care instructionsof the surface
from the floormanufacturer to ensuresuitability to steamcleaning.
HOW TO ASSEMBLEAND USE
1)Once the FloorSteamer has been removed from
the packaging, assemblethe unit byscrewing the
extendable tube clockwise onto the Steam
Cleaning Unit.
2)Toextend, twist the lower tube anti-clockwise and pull the tube to therequired length.
Twist thelower tube clockwiseto secure theextendable tubes inplace.

3)Clip the powercord onto it'shook located onthe upper partof the tube.
4)Place the steam cleaning unit onto the floor cloth. Fit the floor cloth around the base
ensuring the paddededges are secure.
NOTE: Do notoperate without afloor cloth inplace.
5)Unscrew the safety cap to the empty
water tank, insertfunnel and fillwith 2
measures of water using the
measuring cup equivalent to 400ml.
NOTE: Do notoverfill. Ensure thetank
is empty before filling with water.
6)Plug the unitinto an electricaloutlet.
NOTE:It is recommendedthat another
high wattage appliance is not
operated on the same circuit to avoid
a circuit overload.

WARNING:NEVER turn the steamer over, or lift it on its side while steamer is
switched on.
NEVER direct steamat any personor animal.
Use Floor Steameron sealed hardfloor only.
9)The Refill Lightwill switch onwhen the waterin the tankhas evaporated.This will occur
after approximately 15 minutes of use. Turn unit off and unplug from the electrical
outlet and allow to cool. To refill theunit, take off the cap,and refill asoutlined in
Step4. While refilling, be careful notto touch theheated parts ofthe floor steamer.
CAUTION: Cap andfloor cloth maybe very hot.
10)Replace cap, turnyour Floor Steameron again andsteam will beproduced as outlined
in step 6.
11)After each use, rinse the floor cloth in running water and line dry. The floor cloth is
made from 100%cotton and mayshrink if putin a clothesdryer.
CAUTION: Whenever changing the floor cloth or emptying the water tank, switch the
appliance off. Becareful not totouch the heatedparts of thefloor steamer.
12)After use, itis important thatthe excess wateris emptied fromthe water tank.Turn unit
off andunplug from theelectrical outlet. Letthe unit cooldown before openingcap and
empty remaining waterinto a sink.
CAUTION: The cap,the floor clothand the watermay be veryhot.
13)After use, secure the power cord to the handle by winding the cord around the cord
hooks. Place ina safe location.
7)Press On /OFF switch toOn and greenindicator
will light up.Stand for 3-4minutes or untilsteam
is released.
NOTE: Do not leave the Floor Steamer
unattended while waiting for the steam.
CAUTION:Leaving the floor steamer stationary
position for a longer period than
recommended may causethe build upof
a pale residue. This residue can be
removed by usinga decalcifying product
or with a few drops of vinegar. (See
troubleshooting guide)
8)As soon asFloor Steamer startsto release steam,
begin cleaning by slowly passing over the
surfaces to becleaned. This is the idealmethod
for thoroughly cleaning your floor. To disinfect
specific areas ofthe floor,leave the steamerover
the spot for a minimum of eight seconds, but no
more than 15seconds.

CLEANING ANDMAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Prior tocleaning or maintenanceisolate the unitby removing thecord from the
power socket.
In order to guarantee quality of operation over a long period of time the water tank
requires rinsing withwater once amonth to removethe build upof calcium deposits. Do
not use vinegaror other decalcifyingsubstances. Fill withtwo measures ofwater, replace
the cap andshake to loosendeposits. Remove capand immediately emptywater into a
sink.
CAUTION: Do notimmerse the unitin water.
The Piranha Floor Steamer should only be used with its own specially developed floor
cloths (spare floorcloths are availablefrom your retailer)
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
CAUTION: Prior totroubleshooting isolate theunit by removing the cord from the power
socket.
Caused by leaving the floor steamer in
the same position for too long.
Can be removed with household white
vinegar or a decalcifying product.
Alternatively reheat the area for one
minute and residueshould be removed.
CAUTION: Do notoverheat area.
Floor Steamer willnot switch ON. Ensure Floor Steamer power cord is
correctly plugged into power outlet.
Ensure ON/ OFF switch is turned ON
and green indicator light is on.
Ensure circuit breaker is operational.
Try operating the floor steamer from
another power outlet.
Floor Steamer willnot produce steam. Ensure the watertank has correctlevel
of water.
Ensure Floor steameris switched ON.

WHAT’S COVERED
HE Group Pty Ltd guarantees the PIRANHA FLOOR STEAMER for a full replacement for a
period of 12 months from the date of purchase, which is only valid with the presentation of the
original proof of purchase receipt. This guarantee covers mechanical and workmanship defects
only.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This guarantee does not apply to defects arising from abuse, alteration or unreasonable use of
the product. It also does not cover general deterioration due to usage.
This guarantee does not apply to the Floor Cloth (which is a consumable) and the
accessories due to general deterioration.
