Important:
• When submitting a breath sample, sit down,
and take a deep breath.
• Do not use the Pivot Breath Sensor while
operating any type of vehicle or machinery.
• Do not use the Pivot Breath Sensor around
children. The straw can be a choking hazard.
• Clean straw with soap and water. Dry
thoroughly before use.
4Giving a Breath Sample
Press and hold the button.
Inhale when you hear a beep
and the LED starts flashing
blue. Hold your breath and
release button.
Continue to hold your breath
for 10 seconds (minimum 8
seconds ).
After three beeps blow
gently into the sensor for
12 seconds.
Blinking green indicates a
successful breath test, and
blinking red means sample
was not properly submitted.
HOLD!
1. If you are not able to hold your breath for 8 seconds, you should not use
this device.
