Port Meaning
112V AC Connect the supplied power adapter to this jack.
2RESET After the device is powered on, press it to reset the device or
restore to factory default settings. Reset the device 6 seconds
above to restore the factory default settings (this is used when
you can not login to the router, e.g. forgot the password)
3LAN Connect a UTP Ethernet cable (Cat-5 or Cat-5e) to one of the four
LAN ports when connecting to a PC or an office/ home network
of 10Mbps or 100Mbps.
4ADSL Connect the supplied RJ-11 (“telephone”) cable to this port when
connecting to the ADSL/ telephone network.
Connecting ADSL 2/2+ Modem
1. Windows XP or 2003
If you have Windows XP or 2003, you may use the built-in PPPoE connecting program in
these OS. The following example is how to configuring PC in Windows XP.
1. Go to Start / Settings / Control Panel. In the Control Panel, please click
New Connection Wizard.
2. You will see the New Connection Wizard on the screen. Please click “Next”.
