Before you begin:
•AlwaysassembleSafetyRailon-site.
Donotattempttodraganassembled
arraytoanotherlocation.
•Forasuccessfulassembly:
Alwaysattachthelowerguiderailrst!
Line-up the guide rail with the
upright.
Inserttheguiderailintothecenter
ofthebushing.
The inserted end of the guide rail
must rest ush against the back of
theupright.
Securetheupperandlowernotches
oftheguiderailwiththebushing.
Use the side of the bushing that is
closer to the direction in which the
barricadearraywillbebuilt.
Turntheguiderailintoapositionperpendicularto
theupright.
Theguiderailshouldturneasily,withoutforce.
Iftheguiderailbinds,donotforceittoturn.
Simply, reverse the process: disengage the guide
rail,andstartagain.
At this point, the SafetyRail
Barricadeshouldlookjustlikethis.

Attach Guide Rails to the First Upright:
Use the LIST method
Line-up - Insert - Secure - Turn
No hand tools required.
Insert and center the guide rail,
beginningwiththelowerguiderail.
Make the guide rail ush with the
backoftheupright.
Secure the guide rail with the
bushing.
Usethesideofthebushingcloser
totheuprightalreadyattached.
Line-up the upright with the
guiderails.
TurntheUPRIGHTtothe
desiredposition.
SafetyRailwillaccom-
modateTypeAorC
warninglights.
SafetyRailwillalsoaccommodatesomeaudiblewarning
devices,asshowninthepictureontheright.

Attach more Guide Rails and Uprights:
Line-uptheguiderailswiththe2nd
upright, beginning with the lower
guiderail.
Insert and center the guide rail
in the bushing. Make the guide rail
ushwiththebackoftheupright.
Secure the guide rail with the
bushing, in the same direction in
which the barricade array will be
built.
Turn the guide rail to the desired
position, and then attach another
upright.
