CONTENTS
Calibration settings were accidentally
erased during the operation.
You can still use the detector though the
higher rejection rate of the banknotes is
possible.
The message will disappear at the
beginning of scanning process or after
long pressing of «REPORT/CLEAR»
key.
To deactivate the message and
decrease the rejection rate of the
banknotes please contact your vendor.

Denomination and

is empty
The banknote (or emission of the
banknote) is not supported by current
currency database version.
The banknote is too worn out or
damaged. The banknote is suspicious.
The banknote has wrong dimensions or
hasn't been aligned to the left when being
scanned. The time limit for verification is
exceeded (the banknote is stopped in the
input tray).
Please repeat the verification process of
this banknote. If the banknote can't be
detected again, it has to be verified by
other means.
Red and blue indicators
are on.

Denomination and
quantity of verified
banknotes (the banknote

Or no information about
the denomination and
quantity on display
(suspicious banknote).
The banknote is jammed, the feeding
rollers got dirty or path components are
broken.
Open the top cover. Remove the foreign
objects from the path. Close the top
cover. If the banknote gets jammed in
the removable tray, switch the detector
off, remove the tray and remove the
jammed banknote. Install the tray on its
place. Switch the detector on.
Red indicator flashes,
blue indicator is on.
No changes The top cover is not closed tightly. The
scanner window is dirty. The light guide
surface is dirty.
Switch off the detector. Open the top
cover of the detector. Wipe the light
guide and the scanner with a dry lint-
free cloth and remove foreign objects
from the path. Close the cover tightly.
Switch the detector on. If the error
happens again please contact your
vendor.
Blue indicator
flashes
The battery is discharged. Connect power adapter.
Can't switch on when powered from the adapter. Check the mains power, AC adapter connection to the mains outlet, and AC
adapter connection to the detector. If these conditions are met but the detector
fails to switch on, please contact your vendor.
The scanning doesn't begin when the banknote is
in the input tray.
1. Align the banknote to the left side of input tray.
2. If the banknote has a folded or damaged corner, feed the banknote so that the
start sensor is covered with the banknote.
3. Detector failure happened while operation; take out the banknote and restart
the device
4. Low battery, connect power adapter.
If these conditions are met but the detector fails to scan, please contact your
vendor.
The display shows a message which is not
described in this manual.
Switch off and then switch on the detector. If the error remains, contact your
vendor.
