Smart smoke detector

PNI SafeHouse PT225S is a smoke detector. It
does not detect gas, heat or fire. When it detects
smoke, the device will sound an alarm, the red LED
will light up and it will send a notification to the Tuya
Smart mobile application. To turn o the audible
alarm, press the LED button on the detector
(TEST/MUTE).

Battery installation
Rotate clockwise the bracket on the back of the
detector, take it out and install the two AAA 1.5V
alkaline batteries (included).
Detector installation
We recommend installing the smoke detector on
the ceiling, because the smoke first rises to the
ceiling and then spreads throughout the room.
Keep at least 30cm distance from lights or
decorations, and at least 15cm away from walls and
corners.

Detector control from the Tuya Smart application
1. Download and install the Tuya Smart application
on your smart phone. Search for the app in the
Google Play / App Store or scan the QR code
below:

2. After installation, open the application, create an
account and log in.
3. Enable WiFi (2.4GHz) and GPS Location on

your mobile phone.
4. To add the detector to the application, click on
the “+” icon in the upper right corner.
5. Press the Reset key for about 5 seconds using
the included key. The LED on the detector flashes
quickly.
6. Select from the left menu Sensors - Smoke
detector (WiFi)
7. Select the WiFi network you want to connect to
and add the network password.
8. If the LED on the detector flashes quicky,
press Next and wait for the application to find the
detector.
9. After identifying your detector, press the Done
button.

Turn o the audible alarm
Before turning o the audible alarm, make sure
there is no fire hazard.
Press the LED button (TEST / MUTE) to stop the
audible alarm.
Testing the alarm function
To test the operation of the detector, you can burn
a piece of cotton. Burning cotton produces smoke.
Move the cotton closer to the detector slots. The
detector will sound Di..Di ..Press the LED button
(TEST / MUTE) to stop the audible alarm.
Note: Do not use flame to test the detector.

Troubleshooting
If the detector does not work properly, check the
following:
1. Check if the battery is discharged. Replace the
battery.
2. Periodically clean the detector.
3. Check that you have installed the detector
correctly.
4. If the test alarm does not send a notification on
the phone, make sure that the distance between the
detector and the WiFi router is within 10 meters.

COMMERCIAL WARRANTY
The products identified in this certificate on the
basis of the trade name and the unique serial
number S / N, benefit from a commercial guarantee
as follows: The warranty period for individuals is 24
months from the date of delivery for manufacturing
and material defects.
The warranty period for legal entities is 12 months
from the date of delivery for manufacturing and
material defects.
The warranty period is calculated from the date of
invoicing of each product.
The average duration of use of the product is
48 months, provided that the installation and
operating instructions that accompany the product
are followed.
The commercial guarantee does not aect the

PNI SafeHouse PT225S е детектор за дим.
