Chapter 1. Introduction.
Year after year, face attendance machine sales are growing at a
geometric growth rate, and the market demand is increasing gradually
with the shift of the market and also due to the exposure of its capabili-
ties, our company has launched a series of products based on facial
recognition technology.
This product is designed for the needs of enterprises and institutions
for offline attendance management featuring high recognition speed,
and accuracy. The product comes with full color display and it also
supports TCP / IP, wifi, U disk upload and download.
Chapter 2. Installation Guide

● Insert the supplied power adapter to its socket at the back of the
device;
● Insert RJ45 cable into its socket also located at the back of the
device;
● Wall mounting: The mounting bracket shall be installed with the top
two screws 1.15m above ground, please ensure the back of the mount-
ing bracket is flush against the wall
● With the mounting bracket installed, slide the device gently into
place making sure the two flaps at the top of the bracket is aligned with
the device’s slots and that the bottom of the device cover the screw
hole at the bottom of the mounting frame, then secure the device to
the mounting bracket with the supplied screw
● The device defaults with no managers enrolled, please register a
manager or administrator level user.
Chapter 3. User registration and delete
To provide anti-tamper protection, we recommend registering a
manager or administrator as the first user
● If no advanced users are registered on the device , press the“ ”
icon on the top left corner of the display to begin enrollment
● If there is a registered manager/administrator, said advanced users
must pass authentication after pressing the “ ”icon to gain access to
its menu
● If the machine is set up with an administrator level user, managers
would no longer be able to access the advanced settings and commu-
nication settings menu
A. Enroll
● “ ”icon → User → Enroll

Note: To ensure proper configuration for its intended use, there should
be at least one manager level or administrator level user.
Enter the User ID (preset is the lowest unused user ID number), Depart-
ment ID into “Part”, Name and the User level “Level”.
To make use of the search function and keep better track of records, we
recommend completing the forms properly
Press “OK” to begin registering a user.
Now follow any sections below from 1-8 to finish registration for the
respective parts
1. Face registration
● “ ”icon → User → Enroll → Enter Your info → Choose “Face” →
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete Facial template acquisi-
tion. → Press “OK”
Looking at the display, align your face with the center of the camera’s
field of view. The camera automatically captures the facial template,
progress box shows progress. “Face Registration Success!”message will
be displayed upon completion.*

* The device has built in duplicate enrollment protection, registration
will fail if the user is already registered
2. Fingerprint registration
Proper Positioning of finger:
Position your finger flat at the center of the fingerprint sensor, Below
are the top view and side views of the correct fingerprint enrollment
process and also examples of bad enrollment.

● “ ”icon → User → Enroll → Enter Your info → Choose “Fingerprint”
→ Choose the number on the sides according to the desired input
finger / input the number manually by pressing the box → Press “OK”
→ Capture fingerprint 3 times → Press “Continue” for more fingers or
“Exit” to finish
3. Proximity card registration
●“ ”icon → User → Enroll → Enter Your info → Choose card →
Present your card to the reader → Display will show the card’s number
→ Press “OK”

4. Password registration
● “ ”icon → User → Enroll → Enter Your info → Choose password →
Enter the same 3-6 digit number combination for the two forms →
press “OK”
5. Photo registration
● “ ”icon → User → Enroll → Enter Your info → Choose “photo” →
When ready, press “Take Photo” → Press “Register” → “photo registra-
tion successful”

6.Verification Mode
● “ ”icon → User → Enroll → Enter Your info → Choose “Verification
Mode” → Choose verification method → Press “OK”
* System default is the preferred verification mode set in Advanced
settings Chapter5
7. User Timezone
● “ ”icon → User → Enroll → Enter Your info → “User Timezone” →
Press on a time zone to edit its number* → Enter the timezone group
number → Press “OK”

*You may select up to 5 preset timezones when the user is allowed
access. To define Timezones, refer to Chapter 9 Access.
8. Fingerprint Alarm
● “ ”icon → User → Enroll → Enter Your info → Choose “Fingerprint
Alarm”
i.“Register” allows you to enroll a new fingerprint while also setting it as
a duress alarm trigger
→ Press a number using the hand map as reference or click the input
box to input your number → Press “OK”→ Scan your finger three times
→ Press “Continue” to set more fingers as duress alarm triggers or
“Exit” to finish.

ii.“Set” is used to set a previously registered finger (if any) as a duress
alarm trigger
→ Press a previously enrolled finger and the device will automatically
detect the finger number → Press “OK”then “Yes” to confirm
iii.“Remove” and “Remove all” removes only the duress alarm trigger
but keeps the fingerprint on file.
In the case of alarm, Press “ ”icon if you are a manager/ administra-
tor, then press “Alarm off”

B. Delete user
● “ ”icon → User → “Delete” → input your User ID → Press “ OK”,
select the verification method you wish to delete or press “Delete All.”
→ Press “Yes.”
C. Edit User
● “ ”icon → User → “Edit” → Click on the desired row/ use the search
function* to begin editing → Follow the same procedures

* The search function can look up the proper record if you input the
User ID/Name/Face Verify. Be sure to press the OK button on the input
pad if you chose “Name”as your search criteria

1.Basic setting
● “ ”icon → Setting → Basic
A 【Language】Set the interface language
B 【Sound】Turn on/off the vocal notifications
C 【Volume】Change the volume of the device, choose a value
between 0-10
D 【Auto Change of Time Mode】Edit the shifts
E 【Bell Setting】Set the times of bell, toggle on/off, and bell sounds
F 【Bell Count】Set the number of chimes for the bell
G 【Part】Edit the indexing and names of departments
A. Language setting:
● Choose “Language” → Choose your language

B. Sound Setting:
● “ ”icon → Setting → Basic → Sound → Select “Yes” or “No”

C. Volume control:
● “ ”icon → Setting → Basic → Volume → Enter the volume value
between 0-10 → Press “OK.”
D.Auto Change of Time Mode:
● “ ”icon → Setting → Basic → Auto Change of Time Mode → Click
on a row to edit its contents → Press “OK”

Status: You may classify the times for Duty On or off, Overtime On or
off, Return and Go Out.
AttCount: Set the amount of records the device will accept during this
time slot, the default value is 9999 which stands for infinity.(To prevent
records from exceeding the capacity)
E. Bell setting:
● “ ”icon → Setting → Basic → Bell setting → Click on a row to edit
its contents → Press “OK”
You can change the time of the bell, the bell sounds, toggle them
on/off
F. Bell Count:
● “ ”icon → Setting → Basic →Bell Count → Choose a value between
0-255 → press “OK”

G. Part (Departments):
● “ ”icon → Setting → Basic → Part → Click on a row to edit its
contents → input department name → Press “OK”

Chapter 5. Advanced Settings.
A 【Verification Mode】Set the preferred combination of verification
methods
B 【Date and Time】Settings regarding the Date and Time, time zones,
etc
C 【Photo Setting】Select the image to be included in time logs
(None/Enrolled Photo/Realtime Camera)
D 【Allowed # of Managers】Set the max. allowed # of managers
E 【Calibrate Sensor】Recalibrates the sensor
F 【Upgrade Firmware】Connect a USB flash drive with firmware file to
upgrade
G 【Factory Reset】Resets device to original state
H 【Clear All Time Log】Clear all time logs on the device
I 【Clear All Management Log】Clear all data regarding changes to
system settings
J 【Clear All User Database】Delete all users
K 【Clear Photo】Delete registered faces and/or log-in photo logs

A. Verification Mode:
● “ ”icon → Setting → Advanced → Verification Mode → Choose
your preferred verification method
The default FACE/FP/CD/PWD settings requires any one of face,
fingerprint, card OR password to pass verification. The verification
modes with “+” means users have to pass all listed verification method
in the presented order consecutively. For example “Face + FP”requires
the user to first verify by face and then fingerprint.
