Gravity centre testing device

I. Use
The device is designed to test safely a location of gravity centre
of athletics hammer heads (shot uts). The hammer head (shot
ut) stays securely on the device during testing rocedures, even
if the result is negative and the hammer head or shot ut falls
off the testing edge. According to the com etition rules of the
International Association of Athletics Federations (Com etition
Rules 2014-2015, Rule 191.5) the gravity centre of the hammer
head should be not more than 6 mm from the centre of the
s here.
II. Testing
After un acking the device is ready for use. Place the hammer head (shot ut) on the cylinder of the device.
Press the lever all the way down - the
steel sleeve (diameter 12 mm) lifts the
hammer head (shot ut) from the
edge. If the hammer head (shot ut)
stays on the sleeve, it com lies with
the IAAF rules.
