Safety Tips
•Position on a flat, stable surface
•A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not
remove and components or service panels on this product

•DO NOT use jet/pressure washers to clean the appliance
•DO NOT use the appliance outside

•DO NOT allow oil or fat to come into contact with the plastic components or door seal. Clean
immediately if contact occurs
•DO NOT store products on top of the appliance
•Bottles that contain a high percentage of alcohol must be sealed and placed vertically in the
refrigerator
•Always carry, store and handle the appliance in a vertical position and move by holding the base of
the appliance
•Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the unit before cleaning
•Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance with the
regulations of local authorities
•If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a POLAR agent or a recommended qualified

Installation
The Showcase must be placed on a firm, level surface.
The distance from both sides and the back of the refrigerator to the wall or other surfaces, should
be at least 10cm. The operation of the refrigeration system may be affected if there is poor air
circulation or a high ambient temperature.
Operation
This product is not intended for use as a storage cabinet, it is for daily display of Tapas and similar
products. It should be cleared of food every day, then cleaned before further use.
Insert the plug into the socket, turn on at the socket then press the product switch to on.
After a few minutes check there is cold air being blown in to the Showcase before placing food
inside.
Control Panel
Turn On
Close the doors of the appliance.
Connect the appliance to a mains power supply.
Press ON/OFF switch located on rear (next to controller)
Set the Operating Temperature
Press the button. The display will flash.
Press the or buttons to display the required
temperature.
Press the button to store the temperature.
Refrigerant LED: During refrigeration, the LED is
on. When the unit temerature is within set point the LED is off. NOTE: When first switched on
refrigeration is delayed (approx 4 minutes) and the LED flashes.
Defrost LED: during defrosting, the LED is on. Before entering Defrost there is a short delay and the
LED flashes.
Light
Press the button to turn the light On or Off as required.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
Take out all food in the cabinets and disconnect the appliance from the electricity. Wait until the traces
of ice on the evaporator have melted, then wipe inside to remove any water.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 3
amp fuse. The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
The appliance is wired as follows:
•Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
•Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
•Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed, using a dedicated earthing circuit
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician. Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any
obstructions. In the event of any emergency disconnection being required they must be readily
accessible

Disposal
EU regulations require refrigeration product to be disposed of by specialist companies
who remove or recycle all gasses, metal and plastic components
Consult your local waste collection authority regarding disposal of your
appliance. Local authorities are not obliged to dispose of commercial
refrigeration equipment but may be able to offer advice on how to dispose of
the equipment locally
Alternatively, call the POLAR helpline for details of national disposal companies within
the EU

product must not be disposed of as household waste. The help prevent
possible harm to human health and/or the environment, the product must be
disposed of in an approved and environmentally safe recycling process. For
