How to use the Multimedia System in the Commons
Start a Chime Video Conference
1. Push the ON button on the wall panel.
Wait 30 seconds
2. Press the VIDEO CONF button on the wall panel.
3. Press the Call button on the Polycom remote to dial. Enter this
number (include periods):
Double press the * key for period
52.23.133.56
4. Press the Call button.
5. The Amazon Chime screen should pop up, and you should hear a
voice greeting.
6. Push the Menu button on the Polycom remote.
Select “More”, then select “Touch Tone Mode”.
7. Enter our meeting I.D., followed by the #symbol:
1106 10 3206
8. You are now connected to the CCLC’s Meeting Room. Refer to the
Quick Reference (back) for other controls.
9. Press the End button twice to leave the call.
Display a laptop screen
Plug your laptop into the VGA or HDMI cable. Push the LAPTOP button on
the wall panel.
Use the touchscreen
Plug your laptop into the USB cable. Use one of the styluses on the
whiteboard to move the mouse and click. Draw on the screen by selecting
the button on the right side of the whiteboard.
Share a laptop screen while in a Chime Meeting
Plug your laptop into the VGA or HDMI cable. Push the menu button on the
Polycom remote. Select “Content”. Select “Camera 2”.
