The Can-Air Koi 1 aeration system is designed
for ponds with a depth less than or equal to 7’.
COMPRESSOR
MOUNTING
Your cabinet is now ready to mount on a post. The
cabinet must be mounted at least 4’ off the ground.
Your cabinet is equipped with ventilation holes.
Keep ventilation holes unobstructed.
Guide the sinking airline from the compressor
through the holes to outside of the cabinet.
The air pump comes equipped with anti-vibration
rubber feet that do not need to be bolted down.
Compressors must be protected from weather
and kept in a well ventilated/cool area to prevent
overheating. If you purchased a compressor
cabinet, follow the mounting instructions below.
Place the diffuser in the desired location.
This can be done with a boat or by tossing
the diffuser into the pond. The diffuser is
designed to sink and self-right.
Optional: a rope can be tied to the diffuser for
easy retrival.

Remove the diffuser and all other components
from the box. The check valve and hose barb are
pointed inwards for shipping purposes. Rotate
the check valve and barb to point outwards.

Connect the sinking line to the hose barb on
the diffuser. Use a hose clamp to secure the
barb in place. Do not overtighten clamp.

Attach the other end of the sinking line to the
hose barb on the compressor with a hose clamp.
Do not overtighten clamp.
