SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install
the product.
●Turn off electricity at main fuse box (or circuit breaker box) before beginning installation by
removing fuse (or switching off circuit breaker).
●Be careful not to damage or cut the wire insulation (covering) during fixture installation. Do not
permit wires to contact any surface having a sharp edge. To do so may damage or cut the wire
insulation, which could cause serious injury or death from electric shock.
CAUTION:
●All electrical connections must be in agreement with local codes, ordinances or the National
Electric Code (NEC). Contact your municipal building department to learn about your local codes,
permits and/or inspections.
●Risk of fire —most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated for 140ºF. Consult a
qualified electrician before installation.
●Do not connect this fixture to an electrical system that does not provide a means for equipment
grounding. Never use a fixture in a two-wire system that is not grounded. If you are not sure your
lighting system has a grounding means, do not attempt to install this fixture. Contact a qualified,
licensed electrician for information with regards to proper grounding methods as required by the
local electrical code in your area.
●If a dimmer control switch is used with this fixture, obtain professional advice to determine the
correct type and electrical rating required.

PREPARATION
Before beginning to assemble or install lighting fixture, make sure all parts are present. Compare
parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do
not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product.
Estimated Assembly Time: 30 minutes
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Concrete, Phillips Screwdriver, Pliers, 1/2 in. Wrench,
1/2 in. Ring Spanner.
Helpful Items: Flathead Screwdriver, Wire Cutters, Ladder, Wire Stripper, Electrical Tape.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Excavate an area in the ground deep enough to enclose the
height of the anchor bolts (BB) and wide enough for the
mounting bracket (AA). Route the electrical wires from the
power supply underground and out through the middle of
the installation area. Screw the anchor bolts (BB) into the
mounting bracket (AA) to the end. Fill hole with concrete
(not included) and insert the assembly before the concrete
dries. 
Note: The mounting bracket (AA) should be at ground level,
with the anchor bolts (BB) 1.9 in. above the ground. The
approximate length of supply wires that should be out of the
concrete 6-8 inches.

2. Remove the preassembled screws from the base (D) with
a Phillips screwdriver (not included). Save for later use.
Attach adapter (A) to middle pole (B) by twisting it on
clockwise.

3. To install fixture head (sold separately) to adapter (A), use
fixture screws provided with fixture head and secure tightly.
4. Secure the bottom pole (C) to the base (D) with the
previously removed screws. Tighten with a Phillips
screwdriver.
5. Remove the preassembled set screw from the middle pole
(B) and secure the middle pole (B) onto the bottom pole (C).
Screw middle pole (B) clockwise, then secure with set screw.
Tighten with wrench (FF).


6. Connect bare ground wire from the base (D) to the ground
wire coming from the concrete by twisting a wire nut (EE)
onto bare ends of the wires. Connect white wire from the
base (D) to the white wire coming from the concrete by
twisting a wire nut (EE) onto bare ends of the wires. Connect
the black wire from the base (D) to the black wire coming
from the concrete by twisting a wire nut (EE) onto the bare
ends of the wires. Secure the wire nuts (EE) with electrical
tape (not included).
7. CAUTION: Allow the concrete to dry before installing the
pole assembly.
With the help of another person, align the holes on base (D)
with the anchor bolts (BB) and carefully place the pole
assembly over the mounting bracket (AA). Secure assembly
with washers (DD) and cap nuts (CC), tightening with a 1/2
in. wrench (not included).
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
To clean, unplug lamp and wipe with a damp, non-abrasive cloth.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If this product fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship within three (3) years from the date
of purchase, return it along with proof of date of purchase and it will be replaced with the same or
comparable model free of charge.
This warranty is void if damage or defect has resulted from accident, abuse, misuse or faulty repair.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights that vary from state to
state.
IN NO EVENT WILL LIABILITY EXTEND TO ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Assurez-vous de lire et de comprendre l’intégralité du présent manuel avant de tenter d’assembler,
d’utiliser ou d’installer l’article .
●Avant l’installation, coupez l’alimentation électrique du panneau central en enlevant le fusible (ou
en plaçant le disjoncteur en position hors tension).
●Prenez soin de ne pas endommager ni couper la gaine protectrice (revêtement) des fils pendant
l’installation du luminaire. Ne laissez pas les fils entrer en contact avec une surface ayant un rebord
tranchant. Vous risqueriez d’endommager ou de couper la gaine protectrice des fils, ce qui
entraînerait des risques de blessure grave ou de mort par choc électrique.
ATTENTION :
●Tous les branchements électriques doivent être conformes aux codes du bâtiment locaux, aux
règlements locaux ou au Code national de l’électricité. Communiquez avec le service des
bâtiments et de l’entretien de votre municipalité pour connaître les mesures d’inspection, les codes
et les permis en vigueur.
●Risque d’incendie : la température nominale du fil d’alimentation électrique de la plupart des
habitations construites avant 1985 est de 60 °C. Demandez conseil à un électricien qualifié avant
d’installer le luminaire.
●Ne branchez pas ce lampadaire sur un système électrique sans mise à la terre. N’utilisez jamais
un lampadaire avec un branchement à deux fils sans mise à la terre. Si vous ne savez pas si votre
système d’éclairage est mis à la terre, ne tentez pas d’installer ce lampadaire. Communiquez avec
un électricien qualifié pour connaître les méthodes de mise à la terre nécessaires selon le code de
l’électricité en vigueur dans votre municipalité.
●Si vous voulez utiliser un gradateur avec ce lampadaire, faites appel à un professionnel pour qu’il
vous aide à déterminer le type de gradateur à utiliser et les caractéristiques électriques
nécessaires.
