Enabling the BB-3000
Power that enables the BB-3000 to work is supplied by your host terminal. To
make your host terminal supply power to the BB-3000, you need only a
dedicated RS-232 cable instead of a power adaptor. Thus, simply follow two
steps made below to power on the BB-3000.
1. Connect the RS-232 COM port of the BB-3000 to a specified COM port of
your host terminal through a dedicated RS-232 cable.
2. By using your dedicated application, select the specified COM port and a
baud rate.
3. Enable the COM port you selected.
Jumper Setting for a Baud Rate
To set a baud rate, please adjust the dip switch on the main board of the device.
Refer to the following steps to locate the dip switch on the main board.
1. Loosen and remove the two screws from the
top cover of BB-3000.
2. Remove the top cover.
3. You can easily find the dip switch on the
main board.

Regular Cleaning
For regular cleaning of the bump bar, please use only adequate amount of mild
kitchen cleaning detergent for obstinate stains and wipe it off with dry clean
soft clothes. Don’t allow any liquid to seep in through any seam in the metal
enclosure. It could also be a brilliant idea to seal the whole bump bar with thin
transparent wrap foil and replace the foil regularly.
