SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read this manual before using this cordless screwdriver. Make
sure that you know how the power tool functions and how to operate it.
Maintain the power tool in accordance with the instructions to ensure
that it functions properly. Keep this manual with the power tool. If the
power tool is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must
be supplied with it. The safety instructions do not by themselves
eliminate any danger completely and proper accident prevention
measures must always be used.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
When using electric power tools always observe safety regulations
where applicable to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal
injury.
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the
rating plate.
DOUBLE INSULATION
This power tool is double insulated for your safety.
Do not attempt to repair this machine yourself unless you are a suitably
qualified person.
SUPPLY CORD AND PLUG
Only use a suitable extension cord suitable for the power input of the
machine. Minimum recommended cable size of 1.5mm. Always fully
unwind any cord to avoid overheating. It is recommended that when
using any power tool outdoors, a suitable safety device such as an RCD

Electrical Safety Switch or isolating transformer be used. Always
unplug from mains supply when not in use.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a
hazard.
CHILDREN
Caution. Keep out of reach of children.
This power tool is not intended for use by young children or infirm
persons. Young children must be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the power tool.
WATER
Do not immerse power tool in water.
Do not immerse any part of this power tool or supply cord in water. Do
not use with wet hands or use in damp situations.
GENERAL SAFETY
When using electric tools basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Read all these instructions before attempting to use the machine.
1. CONSIDER THE ENVIRONMENT
Do not work in the rain. Do not work in damp or wet conditions. Do not
use without adequate light. Do not use near flammable or hazardous
materials.

2. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY
This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm
persons without supervision. Young children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with this tool.
3. DON’T FORCE THE TOOL
Do not put undue strain or force on this power tool. Do not operate for
extended periods continuously, allow tool to cool. Operate only as
intended.
4. DRESS PROPERLY
Always wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing. Wear
suitable footwear and keep long hair away from moving parts.
5. SAFETY GLASSES
To avoid the risk of eye damage from flying material always wear
suitable safety glasses.
6. EAR PROTECTION
To avoid the risk of hearing loss always use a suitable hearing
protection device.
7. LUNG PROTECTION
To avoid the risk of damaging your lungs from inhaling dust or fumes
always use a suitable dust mask.
8. PERSONAL INJURY
Keep hands and other body parts away from cutting line when
operating. Keep other people at least 5 metres away from the work area
to avoid personal injury through flying objects.
9. PROTECT THE CORD
Never carry the power tool by the cord. Do not pull the cord to
disconnect it from the power supply. Keep cord away from any sharp
objects or heat source.

10. DAMAGED OR DROPPED
Always inspect your power tool before use. Check guards and other
parts are correctly attached. Do not use this power tool if it has been
damaged, dropped, left outdoors or dropped in water. Return it to an
authorised service dealer for examination and repair.
11. STORE IN A SAFE PLACE
When not in use store your tool and all its accessories and instruction
manual in a safe and dry place.
OPERATION
•Fitting and removing bits
Select the desired short chrome vanadium
bit, insert the bit into the bit holder and
push the bit holder into the chuck as far as
possible. Always use a bit holder when
using short bits. (See diagram 1)
•Forward / Reverse Switch
This allows direction to be changed for
driving and removing screws and sockets.
Push the top of the rocker switch for driving
forward and push the bottom of the rocker
switch for removing screws or reverse
operation (See diagram 2)

•Adjustable / Twisting Handle
The handle of the screwdriver may be
angled or twisted for ease of control. The
handle is fixed in position by a locking
switch beside the forward / reverse
switch. To adjust the handle angle, push
and hold this switch forward and at the
same time move the handle to the desired
position. Release the switch when handle in position to lock in
place. (See diagram 3)
•Charging and recharging
Your screwdriver should be charged for a
period of 10-12 hours initially. Connect
the charger adaptor plug to the charging
socket of the screwdriver and then
connect the charger adaptor to the mains
supply. The red battery charge indicator
will illuminate to indicate charging.
Whilst charging, the charger and screwdriver may become warm to
touch – this is normal and does not indicate a problem.
CAUTION: WARNING. The charger will not automatically
switch off when battery is fully charged and the red indicator light
will remain on. Switch charger adaptor off when charging has been
completed and remove from power supply. Do not exceed 12 hours
charging as this will damage the batteries. Do not leave the
screwdriver on charge continuously. The battery charger adaptor
should only be used indoors.

MAINTENANCE
•WARNING: Always check that the power supply adaptor is
switched off and unplugged from the mains before carrying out any
work on the screwdriver.
•Use only mild soap and a slightly damp cloth to clean the
screwdriver and dry it afterwards with a dry towel. Many household
cleaners contain chemicals, which could seriously damage the
plastic. Do not use petrol, paint thinners or similar products. Never
let any liquid get inside the screwdriver and never immerse any part
of the screwdriver into liquid.
•Store the screwdriver and instruction manual and any accessories
in the original packaging so that they are kept together.

WARRANTY CARD
This product is guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date
of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been tampered with, damaged by accident,
damaged in any other way by improper use or has been purchased second hand. All production orders have
quality inspections.
