STEP 1: Removal
1. Disconnect the red 12V (+) wire from the battery source,
or remove the inline fuse.
2. Remove the (4) Phillips head screws that hold the cover
on the C-Monster control unit. (FIG. 1)
3. With the cover removed, disconnect the membrane
switch’s ribbon wire from the circuit board by gently
pulling on it. (FIG. 2)
4. Disconnect the red 12V (+) and black 12V (-) wires from
the circuit board.
5. Grab the sides of the circuit board, and carefully slide it
upward out of the C-Monster control unit. (FIG. 3)
6. Once the circuit board is removed from the case,
disconnect the (3) brushless motor wires.
A. Take note that the brushless motor wires are
labeled “U”, “V”, and “W.” These letters
correspond to labels on the circuit board. (FIG. 3)
STEP 2: Installation
7. Carefully follow steps 3-6 in reverse order.
A. Ensure that the brushless motor wires and the 12V
wires are connected to the proper terminals on the
new circuit board.
8. Route the white antenna wire up and over all of the other
wires in the C-Monster control unit.
A. Routing the white antenna wire according to the
photo below will help avoid signal interference.

9. Make sure the rubber O-ring seal is installed onto pump.

10. Re-install the cover with the (4) Phillips head screws.
11. Re-connect the red 12V (+) wire to the battery source,
or re-install the inline fuse.

Top Side Control Switch Functions – HPU (Hydraulic Pump Unit)
1. Press and hold the PROGRAM button for 6 seconds until LED flashes
red and two chimes are heard followed by a single beep. (FIG. 1)
 NOTE: You are now in Function 1.
2. Press the PROGRAM button to toggle through the remaining functions
below, until you reach the one you wish to adjust:
1 beep = Set HPU as single, port or starboard side (see Function 1)
2 beeps = Changes the speed of the standard key fob remote control (Figure 2)
3 beeps = Up direction sensitivity adjustment – Controls the operation
of the Auto Up features. If the unit continues to run once retracted,
increase the sensitivity. If the unit stops running prematurely, decrease
the sensitivity. (FIG. 2)
4 beeps = Down direction sensitivity adjustment – Controls the operation of the
Auto Down feature. If the unit turns off prematurely during deployment,
decrease the sensitivity. If the unit continuous to run once anchored, increase the sensitivity. (FIG. 2)
You can use the UP and DOWN buttons to change the settings, (NOTE: default settings are in the middle of the range).
Tone increases with level (1-10). (FIG. 2)

Once you have made all desired setting changes, press and release the PROGRAM button to save your settings and exit
program mode. You will hear a series of beeps and the LED light will return to flashing green.

Function 1: Setting HPU (Hydraulic Pump Unit) as single, or port,
or starboard units (duals)
• Set as a single HPU: Press and hold both UP and DOWN
buttons simultaneously.
• Set as starboard side HPU: Press and release the UP button.
• Set as port side HPU: Press and release the DOWN button.
Once you have made all desired setting changes, press and
release the PROGRAM button to save your settings and exit
program mode. You will hear a series of beeps and the LED
light will return to flashing green.
IMPORTANT: When using only one anchor, do not program as a port or starboard.
Pair additional C-Monster controllers (up to 10 controllers can be paired to a single HPU)
1. Press and hold the PROGRAM button on the HPU for 3 seconds. A solid green light and a single beep
will confirm that it’s in pairing mode.
2. Press the UP button on the C-Monster controller for one second and release. A beep will sound to confirm that a new
key fob has been paired.
NOTE: A single C-Monster Controller can be programmed to multiple anchors.

1. Press and hold the PROGRAM button for 6 seconds until LED flashes red and two chimes are heard followed by
a single beep. (FIG. 1)

• Set as a single HPU:
Press and hold both Up and Down buttons simultaneously.
• Set as starboard side HPU:
Press and release the Up button.
• Set as port side HPU:
Press and release the Down button.
Once you have made the desired setting change,
press and release the PROGRAM button to save your setting
and exit. You will hear a series of beeps and the LED
light will return to flashing green.
IMPORTANT: When using only one anchor, do not
program as a port or starboard.
STEP 2: Pair additional
C-Monster controllers
(up to 10 controllers can be paired to a single HPU)
1. Press and hold the PROGRAM button on the HPU
for 3 seconds. A solid green light and a single beep
will confirm that the unit is in pairing mode.
2. Press the UP button on the C-Monster controller for one second and release. A beep will sound to confirm that
a new C-Monster controller has been paired.
NOTE: A single C-Monster Controller can be programmed to multiple anchors.
