app to continue. When the app notifies you that your account is
successfully connected, tap "Next Step."
5. Connect Energy Bridge to Internet via WiFi
If your Energy Bridge is more than 25ft away from your Smart Meter
with a wired connection, move it within 5-25ft to increase signal
reliability to your meter. Plug it into a power outlet and tap "Set Up

connected, tap "OK, I Moved it" on the app to continue.
6. Bind Energy Bridge to Smart Meter

"Request Bind." Wait [time period] and tap "Check Bind Status" in
the app. If bind was successful, you're all done!
2. Connect Energy Bridge to power and Internet
Plug your Energy Bridge into a power outlet using provided cable. If

a wired connection by plugging the Energy Bridge into an available
port on your WiFi router with second cable and skip steps #–#.
3. Locate Energy Bridge with your mobile device
Before locating, be sure that your mobile device is connected to the
same WiFi network as your Energy Bridge. Tap the "Start Locating"
button on the app to locate Energy Bridge. When the app notifies
you it's been successfully located, tap "Next Step."
NOTE If router is more than 25ft away from Smart Meter, do not
plug Energy Bridge into the router; skip to next step.
NOTE If the Energy Bridge is unable to bind, try connecting the
Energy Bridge via WiFi if you have not already done so, move it
closer to you Smart Meter, and tap "Request Bind Again." If the
issue persists, contact support directly from within the app.
