01 \\ CHARACTERISTICS & COMPOSITION
PRECIMASK® PRO is a durable mask because all of its construction components are cleanable, thus generating a
minimum of waste.
This mask will give you total protection for your nose and mouth through the filters as well as the eyes through the
visor which is removable. The filtration cartridges consist of a ceramic filter protected by a metallic capsule. These
filtration cartridges can be easily unclipped for cleaning operations.
PRECIMASK® PRO is made of a silicone that is flexible, translucent, light and biocompatible at the same time, which
ensures enhanced air tightness and optimal comfort.

FOREWORD
Please make sure the instructions which follow are fully respected in order to
ensure an optimal use and duration of your PRECIMASK® PRO.
Under no circumstances will the manufacturer and/or the suppliers be held
responsible for any damages as a result of improper use of the mask.
1// Before putting on PRECIMASK® PRO, wash your hands with soap and water or with a
hydro-alcoholic solution. It is strongly recommended to wear PRECIMASK® PRO on clean
skin, avoiding contact with facial hair.
2// The PRECIMASK® PRO is equipped with two removable parts, namely :
A visor for total nose - mouth - eye protection.
To install it, clip the visor into the top of the rigid part of the
PRECIMASK® PRO using the three notches provided for this
purpose as illustrated in the opposite diagrams.
Exhalation valve cap.
For maximum breathability and optimum exhalation, you have the option to remove the
factory fitted cap (the cap being installed by default).
To do this, remove the polycarbonate cap blocking the
valve placed at the back of the PRECIMASK® PRO as
shown in the opposite diagrams.
WARNING !
Removing the valve cap allows you to gain in breathability (ideal for physical
activities requiring more eort and therefore more oxygen). In this configuration,
PRECIMASK® PRO (with or without cap) continues to protect the wearer of the
mask. With the valve cap removed, it will no longer optimally protect the wearer’s
environment.
3// To put PRECIMASK® PRO on your face, hold the rigid part of
PRECIMASK® PRO with one hand and with the other hand pull on
the straps.
Place it in front of your mouth and pass the 2 straps behind your
head.
4// Then adjust the silicone strap aso that it is positioned at the top of your
head (upper part) and on your neck (lower part).
The top strap must be adjusted to ensure a good sealing, without being too
tight or this may cause leaks and have an eect on mask wearing comfort.
If the default setting does not suit your individual morphology, it is
possible to adjust the strap by sliding it into its compartment in order to
tighten or to loosen the upper or lower part.
Finally, fasten the Stop Cordon by pressing the push button so that the
mask is correctly installed at the back.
Furthermore, the PRECIMASK® PRO strap is replaceable. In order to do it (not required), you
can use a pointed, non-sharp object.
BE CAREFUL, however, to NEVER use a metallic object, it is recommended to use a toothpick
or a ballpoint pen cap for example.

Tighten the strap correctly by pulling on the
two ends and leaving some flexibility on the
upper part in order to insert the top.

5// To remove your PRECIMASK® PRO, wash your hands with soap and water or with a
hydro-alcoholic solution. Then take the mask in your hands, move it away from your face
and slide it over your head: the straps are flexible enough, it is not necessary to touch the
Stop Cordon and thus you retain your individual settings.
You can use the pouch (delivered with the mask) to protect it, while waiting to wash it, and
/ or whilst transporting it. To avoid any contamination of the pouch, it will be necessary to
wash it in hot soapy water regularly.
6// Finally, wash your hands again with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub.
It is recommended that you do not wear the mask for more than 4 hours continuously.
Take a break in the middle of the day and store your mask in the pouch provided for this
purpose. It is not necessary to wash it after 4 hours.
Once the PRECIMASK® PRO is on your face, make sure that the silicone face seal is in
contact with the area between your nose and your chin.
Note that it is normal for mist to form on the PRECIMASK® PRO if you breath
through your mouth, if you exert a high physical activity or if the ambient
temperature is cold (natural condensation phenomenon).

03 \\ MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
PRECIMASK® PRO is a cleanable and durable mask, the cleaning protocols are
broken down into several types : Type 1 for daily sanitization of the mask, Type
2 for the simple regeneration of the filtration cartridges once a month and Type
3 for enhanced regeneration of the filtration cartridges in case of clogging (that
cannot be removed by cleaning Type 2). Regeneration protocols (Type 2 & 3
allow the ceramic to be thoroughly cleaned.
Please remove the filter cartridges before washing the mask. To do this,
unclip the filtration cartridges by pushing them with your thumb towards the
inside of the mask using small successive pressures.
Type 1 cleaning: Daily disinfection of PRECIMASK® PRO
After each use, place the filter cartridges in your oven at 90°C (200°F) for 10 minutes.
The rest of the mask should be washed with hot soapy water, or with a virucidal cleaning solution. IMPORTANT CLEANING INFORMATION
It is recommended to sanitize PRECIMASK® PRO daily and to thoroughly clean (simple
regeneration) the filter cartridges once a month, scrupulously following the procedures
described above.
Do not dismantle the integration capsules of the filters which protect the ceramic. These must
remain sealed to ensure their eectiveness.
Avoid contact of PRECIMASK® PRO and filters with liquids other than those recommended for
cleaning.
04 \\ PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
PRECIMASK® PRO has been designed to protect its wearer and their environment from most particles and
aerosols (spray, sneezing, etc.) of 3 μm, except in extreme atmospheric conditions.
It is designed to oer the possibility of plugging the exhalation valve (reinforced protection) or of opening
it (high breathability), allows it to have a large number of dierent applications such as :
• Reinforced protection thanks to its airtightness :
Social contact is enhanced by its combination of transparency and protection. Ideal for those working
with the deaf and hard of hearing or a population at risk.
• Increased breathability with open valve :
Ideal for people carrying out a physically demanding activity by the opening of the valve which allows to
increase the breathability.
WARNING !
Continuously check that the PRECIMASK® PRO is properly adjusted, covers your mouth and your nose and
that the filter cartridges are correctly fitted.
The use of PRECIMASK® PRO does not replace physical barriers (regular hand washing, social distancing
& reduction of contact with other people). It adds an eective and scientifically proven physical barrier so
that you can enjoy social relationships with less risk of exposure.
If your PRECIMASK® PRO is not going to be used for a long time, store it in its original packaging in a dry
place away from direct sunlight. If the mask has already been used, it is necessary to perform a Type 1
cleaning before storage for less than one week and a Type 2 cleaning before storage for more than 1
month.
Store it away from moisture, at a temperature between -5°C (25°F) and +55°C (130°F). Avoid any
environment that is dusty or that may cause water condensation inside the filters.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Handle your PRECIMASK® PRO with the greatest care, avoid mechanical shocks
and falls.
Wash your hands with soap or hydro-alcoholic gel before handling the mask or
its various parts.
Never dismantle the integration capsules, their role is to protect the integrity of
the filtration medium.
All components of PRECIMASK® including the filters have been designed to be reused over a long time
span. If you strictly follow our recommendations, the mask will maintain its protection level for a long
time.
05 \\ WARNINGS
• MIND OF BLOCKING YOUR EXHALATION VALVE IF YOU ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF OTHER PEOPLE: otherwise you will no longer be optimally protecting your environment.
• YOUR FIELD OF VISION CAN BE MODIFIED WITH THE MASK - please be careful.
• THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MASK AND IN PARTICULAR ITS FILTERING EFFICIENCY MAY BE AFFECTED IN CASE OF A FALL OR SHOCK. In particular, a deformation of the filter cartridge after
a drop or impact renders the filter unusable as it is. You can order new cartridges on our website www.precimask.fr The recycling of damaged cartridges is taken care of by PRECIMASK® by
returning them to us at the following address: Pracartis Groupe - Chemin de la Forêt - 74250 PEILLONNEX - France
• A damaged cartridge must be replaced.
• Filters or any other part of PRECIMASK® PRO must not be modified by any mechanical, chemical and / or thermal process.
• Make sure that there is no hair between the PRECIMASK® PRO seal and your face. The tightness of PRECIMASK® PRO can also be compromised by moustache and thick beards.
Type 3 cleaning: Enhanced regeneration of filtration cartridges
This step is to be applied in case the ceramic filters become clogged for example by dust :
• Soak them completely in 1 litre of a mixture of 3/4 of water and 1/4 of white vinegar 8° and boil
the solution for 30 minutes.
• Drain the cartridge and then let it cool down.
• Rinse it with clean water for 10 seconds
• Repeat a full Type 2 cleaning.
To reassemble the cartridge on the mask, place it inside the mask with the rounded side towards the
opening. Press gently on the cartridge edge until it is correctly positioned (the rounded part is aligned
with the mask).
The silicone seal may come o during cleaning. You can take the opportunity to
clean it thoroughly. Simply wait until it is completely dry to put it back on the
rigid frame by fitting the silicone all around the mask.
Type 2 cleaning: Simple monthly regeneration of filtration cartridges
Once a month or after storage for more than 4 weeks, soak the PRECIMASK® PRO filtration cartridges in
boiling water for 30 minutes. Then, dry in the oven at 110°C (230°F) for 30 minutes.
WARNING | Handle the filter cartridges with care when they come out of the oven so as not to burn
yourself and wait for them to cool completely before putting them back on the mask.
PRECIMASK® PRO is a mask intended for the general public or
professionals for daily use in order to filter particles of 3 μm, except in
extreme atmospheric conditions.

In a dusty environment, the risk of clogging is greater depending on the type of dust and could decrease the
life of the cartridges. It is recommended to use a blower every evening to remove excess dust and to perform
Type 2 cleaning as often as necessary.
Do not expose your PRECIMASK® PRO to flames or other sources of intense heat.
Do not use PRECIMASK® PRO in the presence of solvents or paint.
PRECIMASK® PRO was not designed for vapor filtration, please use other masks for this specific use.
