New XCXY-02 Crimp Tool Instruction
3.Crimp lock mechanism
The crimp tool has a self-locking function. When the crimping is not completed correctly, the locking
mechanism functions, the crimp handle cannot be opened, and the crimping items cannot be taken out. When
the crimping is properly completed, the locking mechanism is opened, and the crimp handle can be opened. The
crimped items can be taken out and the crimping is completed.
If a large-diameter contact strayed into the crimp hole for crimping by mistake or the crimp hole is stuck by
a hard object, continuing the crimp operation would make the indenters or other mechanical parts damaged.

CONFIGURATION
The
new
XCXY-02
four-indent
hand
crimp
tool
is
a
wide
range
of
crimping
tools
that
can
be
used
with
the
products
of
GJB
standard
and
MIL
standard
series.
It
is
applied
to
the
cold-press
connection
of
the
wire
and
the
contact
in
the
electrical
connector.

WORKING
PRINCPLES
1.
Crimping
Method
The
crimping
tool
adopts
curve
propulsion
mechanism,
its
applied
force
transfers
through
four
curves
in
the
head
cavity
of
the
right
plier
handle
to
the
four
indenters.
The
four
intenders
do
the
centripetal
linear
motion,
which
makes
its
front-end
teeth
crimp
the
contact
to
complete
the
crimping
process.
The
cycle
controlled
precision
ratchet
assures
the
consistency
of
impression
and
the
crimping
quality
of
wires
and
contacts.

Crimping
Range
Adjustment
The
crimp
tool
has
a
10-position
selector
knob
that
accurately
divides
the
crimping
range
into
RANGE
OF
APPLICATION

positions.
The
accurate
data
is
listed
as
follows:
The
internal
through
hole
diameter
of
this
tool
is
6.5mm,
and
the
maximum
outer
diameter
of
the
applicable
terminal
should
be
less
than
6.3mm.

GAGING INSTRUCTIONS
Set the XCXY-02 hand crimp tool to the 4th selector position and use the G125 (M22520/3-
01)GO-NOGO Gage to test the tool.
"GO" Gaging: keep the tool in fully closed position, insert the green “GO”gage end of G125
into the indenters of XCXY-02 crimp tool, it should be easy to enter, otherwise, the selector gear is
incorrect
"NO GO" Gaging: keep the tool in fully closed position, insert the red “NO GO”end of G125
into the indenters of XCXY-02 crimp tool, it can’t pass through completely, otherwise, the
selector gear is incorrect.
Note:Operate the tool in fully closed position first, and then use the gage. DO NOT CRIMP THE GAGE!
