Important SafeguardS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your mains voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the specication sticker of the Roti maker.
3. Always unplug from mains socket when not in use and before cleaning.
4. Do not immerse appliance, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
5. Do not operate the Roti Maker with a damaged cord or plug, or in abnormal state. If its main cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the nearest Regional Service Centre/Authorised Service Centre.
6. Do not use any additional accessories that are not recommended by the company. It may result in re, electric shock and/or
personal injury.
7. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch any hot surface.
8. To disconnect, remove plug from the wall outlet. Always hold the plug. Never pull the cord.
9. Do not use the appliance for uses other than its intended use and always place it in a dry area.
10. Do not leave the Roti Maker unattended while it is in operation.
11. Do not touch any hot surface. Use handle only.
12. Always place the appliance on a table or at surface when operating.

Before fIrSt uSe
• Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
• Remove all packaging.
• Clean the cooking plates by wiping with a sponge or cloth dampened in warm water. DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT IN
WATER AND DO NOT POUR WATER DIRECTLY ONTO THE COOKING SURFACE.
• Dry with a cloth or paper towel.
• Lightly coat the cooking plates with a little cooking oil.
NOTE: When your Roti Maker is heated for the rst time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. is is normal with many
heating appliances. is does not aect the safety of your appliance.

how touSe Your preStIge rotI maKer
• Close the Roti Maker and plug it into the wall outlet, you will notice that the red indicator light and
the green indicator light will switch on, indicating that the roti maker has begun preheating.
• It will take approximately 3 to 5 minutes to reach cooking temperature. e red indicator light will remain on until you unplug
your roti maker. When the green indicator light goes o, the Roti Maker is ready for use.
• Open the Roti Maker and make each piece of about 1 ½”diameter. Slightly atten it and place it towards
the hinges on the bottom plate of the roti maker as shown in the gure.
Note: To make soft rotis, add extra water than usual to the dough so that the dough is softer and stickier. Also set the dough aside
for about 30 minutes to 1 hour before making rotis in the roti maker.

• Quickly and rmly press down and close the upper plate. Hold for a few seconds and open it
immediately. You will see the dough ball has attened enough for making roti. Leave the Roti
Maker in open position for about 15-20 seconds.
• After about 20-25 seconds turn the roti and you will see air bubbles begin to appear on the top surface of the roti.
• Now turn the roti to the other side and very gently shut the upper plate. e roti will start pung
up and in a few seconds it is ready for serving.
• Once the roti is cooked, open the Roti Maker and carefully remove it from the Roti Maker with a non-metallic spatula.
Never touch the cooking surface with sharp, pointed or metal objects. is could damage the non-stick surface.
Important: Every time you make roti, pre-heat the appliance until the green light goes o.
• Once you are nished cooking, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and allow the Roti Maker to cool in open position.
• is Roti Maker can be used for preparing other dishes also like Omelletes, Parathas, eplas, Pancakes, Uthappams etc.
while keeping the Upper Non Stick Cooking plate open.

cleanIng and maIntenance
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains outlet. Do not disassemble the Roti Maker for cleaning.
2. Let the appliance to completely cool down before you start cleaning.
3. Do Not immerse the Roti Maker in water or clean the appliance in running water.
4. Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, dry cloth. Never use scouring pads.
5. Clean the interior non stick surface with a soft damp cloth and then wipe it thoroughly with dry cloth.
6. Store the appliance in a cool dry place.

termS ofwarrantY
Prestige {hereinafter referred to as the Company} warrants to the purchaser of “Prestige Roti Maker”, {hereinafter referred to as
Prestige Roti Maker} that the said Prestige Roti Maker is free from all defects in material and workmanship. is warranty is valid
for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, subject to the following terms and conditions:-
1) e warranty card is to be completed, signed by the dealer immediately on purchase.
2) e Prestige Roti Maker is only to be serviced by the Company Regional Service Centre or by its Authorised Service Centre
(addresses listed in this manual).
3) e customer shall carry the Prestige Roti Maker to the nearest Company Regional Service Centre/Authorised Service Centre
at his/her own cost and risk.
4) e Company shall make all endeavours/attempts to carry out the Service/Replacement under this Warranty at the earliest, but
shall not be liable to do so within any specied time.
5) e Warranty will continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the original Warranty, in regard to the Repair/
Replacement of parts of the Prestige Roti Maker.
6) e Prestige Roti Maker shall be used strictly for domestic purposes in accordance with the user’s manual.
7) e Company shall not be held liable for any accident, loss or damage (direct or indirect) to person or property caused by reason
of:
a) Repairs/Service attended by unauthorised service person.
b) Over-loading/Misuse/abuse or/and negligence on the part of the person.
c) Defects caused by improper/reckless use.
d) Use of spurious spares/old, non-genuine spares.
