INTENDED USE
The Prima Ice Crusher is for crushing cubes of pure water ice. The appliance must
not be used for crushing cubes containing fruit juices or anything other than water. To
do so could damage/corrode internal components and could also invalidate your
warranty.
USING THE ICE CRUSHER
1. Place the Ice Crusher on a level, non-slip surface
2. Insert the mains wall socket (220-240V)
3. Remove the clear plastic lid
4. Using the ice scoop provided put 3 or 4 ice cubes into the hinged ice
filler compartment. Note: The size of the cubes should not be more than
the standard 1” x 1” x 1” (25 x 25 x 25cm) variety.
5. The hinged flap springs shut for safety.
6. Turn on the machine by pushing the switch into the on position. Note
that the switch will spring back into the off position if you let go of it, so
you need to hold the switch in the on position until all the ice has been
processed. This only takes a few seconds for each load of ice cubes.
7. Repeat the process until you have crushed enough ice for your needs
or until the ice collection bowl is full.
8. Important safety note: never put your fingers or any utensil into
the processing chamber to free any trapped ice
CLEANING
1. Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance
2. Wipe outside of the appliance with a paper towel or a soft cloth moistened
with a little water. It should not be washed in a dishwasher.
3. Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel
wool as this will damage the finish.
4. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid although you can pour a little
water into the ice chamber. However, only use cold water and never use
detergent.
5. After cleaning leave the clear plastic lid off for a while to allow the machine to
dry thoroughly.
