Assembly of SCAR™
Step 1 - Attach the Legs. Slide the top of the legs into the
slots on the bottom of the body.
Step 2 - Attach the decoy stake by screwing it into the
frame screw located in the “belly” or bottom of the body.
Step 3 - Attach the tail to the body by clipping the ring on
the tail to the loop on the body.
Step 4 - Insert Antlers into head and twist to secure.
Step 5 - Insert Ears into head and twist to secure.
Step 6 - Attach head to body. First insert pivoting pin into
the pivoting pin hole. Then attach hook located on the
neck to the loop located on the body. NOTE: For the best
head movement, when staking SCAR™into the ground be
sure all four hooves are touching the ground and that the
back is as level as possible.
TIPS FOR USE: Set up SCAR™where he can be
seen from a distance. Setting the decoy in the open,
in range of your blind or stand will bring more
deer by your set up. Handle your decoy with care.
Be careful not to leave scent on your decoy. Store
SCAR™ in an area where he will not pick up scent. Use
rubber gloves when handling and spray him down
with Primos®Silver XP™Scent Control Spray after
you have him set up. Experiment with different scents
and lures to bring deer closer to SCAR™. Scent can be
applied to the tail. Call and rattle to get deer to respond
to SCAR™.

Storing SCAR™
Step 1
Stand body on its side with leg slots
facing you.
Step 2
Insert head on right side of frame post.
Step 3
Insert back legs on left side of frame post,
hooves rst.
Step 4
Insert front legs along
the backbone, hooves rst. The front legs
should straddle frame post.
Step 5
Insert ears, antlers and tail.
For easy carry, place the stored
decoy in the carrying bag provided.
