IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using this electric unit, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
1. Read ALL instructions before using this unit.
2. CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock. DO NOT open or try to repair the heater yourself.
3. This heater may get hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot
surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater.
4. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes, and curtains
at least 3 ft from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides, top, and rear.
DONOT place towels or other objects on the heater.
5. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or the disabled, or
when the heater is left operating and unattended.
6. DO NOT operate any heater with a damaged cord or after the heater malfunctions, has
been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for
examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
7. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations.
NEVER locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. To protect
against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse in water or other liquids.
8. DO NOT touch the control panel or plug with a wet hand.
9. DO NOT run cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
10. DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this
may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
11. To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block the air intakes or exhaust in any manner. DO NOT
use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
12. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use in areas where gasoline,
paint, explosive and/or flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep unit away from heated
surfaces and open flames.
13. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet / receptacle Never use with an extension cord
or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip)
14. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the unit directly into a 120 V AC electrical outlet.

15. To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet. Pull firmly on the
plug, DO NOT unplug by pulling on the cord.
16. Always unplug the unit before moving or cleaning, or whenever the heater is not in use.
17. Use only for intended household use as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. The
use of attachments not recommended or sold by unauthorized dealers may cause hazards.
18. Always use on a dry, level surface. Use on floor only.
19. DO NOT use outdoors.
20. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use this unit with any solid-
state speed control device.
21. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing
so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user serviceable parts. Qualified
personnel should perform all servicing only.
22. Connect to properly grounded outlets only.

SAFETY FEATURES
TIP-OVER SAFETY FEATURE
This heater is equipped with a tip-over safety feature. Once the heater is tipped over, an internal switch
will automatically shut the heater off. Once the heater is restored an upright position, the heater will
reset. To continue operation, turn on the heater using the supplied remote control or the control panel
on the heater.
OVERHEAT SAFETY FEATURE
This heater is equipped with a overheat safety feature. When the heater’s internal components reach a
certain temperature that could cause overheating or possible fire, the heater will automatically shut off.

WARNING: It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to touch; however, a loose fit between the
outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try inserting the plug into a
different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original outlet for damage.
WARNING: This heater has a voltage rating
of 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown
in A. An adapter as shown in C is available
for connecting three-blade grounding-type
plugs to two-slot receptacles. The grounding
lug extending from the adapter must be
connected to a permanent ground such as a
properly grounded outlet box. The adapter
should not be used if a three-slot grounded
receptacle is available.
DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF
THE GROUNDED PLUG.

PREPARATION
Place the heater on a firm, level surface and plug into a grounded 120V 60Hz power outlet. and turn on
the power switch in the rear of the unit. Only operate heater in upright position with caster
wheels attached.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Start
Or
Turn on or off the heater by pressing the ON/OFF
button on the control panel or by pressing the
Power button on the supplied remote control.
Once power is off, heating elements will stop
working first. Fan will continue working for up
to 3 minutes to dispense residual heat inside the
heater. This is a normal function.
2. Start and select working mode
Or
Select a heat setting.
Press the MODE button to toggle between
the three heat settings.
High Mode uses 1500W; Low Mode uses
1000W. ECO mode is an Economic Energy
Saving Function. When ECO mode is
chosen, the heater will set the temperature
automatically to 68°F(20°C) under
this mode.
3. Setting control panel lock
For safety, users can lock the control panel so children can’t operate the heater. Locking can
be set in both power-on and power-off modes.

Press Temp Up and Temp Down buttons together
for 3 seconds. Locking is confirmed when a
buzzer rings. When locked, control panel and
remote control will not function.

And
To unlock, press Temp Up and Temp Down
buttons together for 3 seconds. Unlocking is
confirmed when a buzzer rings. Lock indication
disappears. Control panel and remote control
return to normal function.
4. Setting room temperature

Adjust the thermostat by pressing the arrows on
the control panel or remote control.
Or
Set temperature indication varies from 59°F
to 86°F or from 15°C to 30°C . Once you have
chosen the desired temperature, the heater will
remain on until the room temperature increases
to the temperature on the digital display. The
heater will cycle on and off to maintain the
desired room temperature.
Or
Press °C/°F button to change the digital display
indicator to Fahrenheit value or Celsius value.
When Fahrenheit indicating light is on, digital
display indicates Fahrenheit value, when Celsius
indicating light is on, digital display indicates
Celsius value.

5. Setting timer-power-off
Note: timer-power-off function can only be set while heater is in power-on mode.

When starting the unit, press the timer button
on the control panel or remote control.
Digital display turns set temperature readout to
time value for the timer. Press the timer button
repeatedly, the value will vary from 0 hour to
12 hour duration (in1 hour intervals).
The light is on when timer –power-off is set.
6. Setting timer-power-on
Note: timer-power-on function can only be set while heater is in power-off mode.

Under power-off, press the timer button on the
control panel.
Digital will indicate time value for the timer.
Press the timer button repeatedly, the value will
vary from 0 hour to 12 hour duration
(in 1 hour intervals).
The light is on when timer –power-on is set.
MAINTENANCE
1. Turn off the power switch in the rear of the unit.
2. Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.
3. To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use
a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth. CAUTION: DO NOT
let liquid enter the heater.
4. DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean
the heater. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.
5. DO NOT immerse the heater in water.

6. Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.
7. Air filter should be cleaned after use for 3 months or if it appears to be blocking airflow. With
heater unplugged, remove 2 filter screws as illustrated below. With filter assembly removed,
Clean all parts of filter assembly. Allow parts to completely dry.
8. Reassemble filter and then attach to heater. WARNING: Do not use heater without filter
assembly in place.

9. If you won’t use the heater for a long time, take battery out of remote control according to
the below steps and store for future use.
STORAGE
Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use. To prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the
original packaging to repack the unit.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the heater will not operate, please check the following before seeking repair of service:
1. Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet, if not, plug in.
2. Check if electricity to the main fuse is working.
3. Check if the battery in remote control is not dead and if the insulating film is pulled out.
NOTE: The heater may not be operating if the thermostat is set lower than the room temperature. To
begin operation, increase the thermostat temperature for a higher heat setting.

INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANTES
Lorsque vous utilisez cet appareil électrique, vous devriez toujours suivre des consignes de sécurité de
base afin de réduire le risque d’incendie, de choc électrique et de blessures, incluant ce qui suit :
1. Lisez TOUTES les instructions avant d’utiliser cet appareil.
2. ATTENTION : Risque de choc électrique. N’ouvrez PAS et n’essayez pas de réparer vous-
même cet appareil de chauffage.
3. Cet appareil de chauffage devient chaud lorsqu’on l’utilise. Pour éviter les brûlures, NE
touchez PAS les surfaces chaudes avec la peau nue. Lorsqu’elles sont fournies, utilisez des
poignées pour déplacer cet appareil de chauffage.
4. Tenez les matériaux combustibles, comme les meubles, les oreillers, la literie, le papier, les
vêtements et les rideaux à au moins 3 pieds de l’avant de l’appareil et tenez ces articles loin
des côtés, du dessus et de l’arrière de l’appareil de chauffage. NE placez PAS de serviettes ou
d’autres objets sur l’appareil de chauffage.
5. Procéder avec un soin extrême lorsque vous utilisez un appareil de chauffage à proximité des
enfants ou de personnes handicapées ou si vous laissez celui-ci en marche sans surveillance.
6. N’utilisez PAS l’appareil de chauffage avec une fiche ou un cordon endommagé ou si
l’appareil de chauffage fait défaut, est tombé ou a été endommagé d’une autre façon.
Confiez l’appareil de chauffage à un centre de service autorisé pour examen, ajustement aux
composants électriques ou mécaniques ou pour réparation.
7. Cet appareil de chauffage n’a pas été conçu pour être utilisé dans les salles de bain, les
buanderies et autres endroits comparables à l’intérieur. NE placez JAMAIS l’appareil de
chauffage dans un endroit où il risque de tomber dans un bain ou tout autre contenant d’eau.
Pour vous protéger contre les dangers de nature électrique, NE plongez PAS l’appareil dans
l’eau ou dans d’autres liquides.
8. NE touchez PAS le tableau de commande ou la fiche avec les mains mouillées.
9. NE placez PAS le cordon sous un tapis. NE recouvrez PAS le cordon au moyen de tapis, de
tapis d’escalier ou d’autres articles comparables. Disposez le cordon à l’écart des zones à
forte circulation et des endroits où il risque de faire trébucher les gens.
10. N’insérez PAS de matières étrangères et évitez que celles-ci ne pénètrent dans un orifice de
ventilation ou d’échappement, puisqu’il pourrait en résulter un choc électrique, un incendie
ou des dommages au niveau de l’appareil de chauffage.

11. Afin de prévenir tout risque d’incendie, N’obstruez PAS les orifices d’admission ou
d’échappement d’air de quelque façon que ce soit. N’utilisez PAS l’appareil sur des surfaces
souples, tel un lit, puisque les ouvertures pourraient être obstruées.
12. Un appareil de chauffage comporte des pièces chaudes qui produisent un arc ou des
étincelles à l’intérieur. N’utilisez PAS dans les endroits où l’on procède au remisage ou à
l’utilisation d’essence, de peinture, de liquides explosifs et/ou inflammables. Tenez l’appareil
à l’écart des surfaces chauffées et des flammes nues.
13. Branchez toujours l’appareil de chauffage directement dans une prise murale. N’utilisez
jamais l’appareil avec un cordon de rallonge ou une prise de courant mobile (prise normale
ou barre d’alimentation).
14. Pour éviter les risques d’incendie ou de choc électrique, branchez l’appareil directement dans
une prise électrique de 120 V c.a.
15. Pour débrancher l’appareil de chauffage, fermez les commandes et retirez ensuite la fiche de
la prise. Tirez solidement sur la fiche. Ne débranchez PAS l’appareil en tirant sur le cordon.
16. Débranchez toujours l’appareil de chauffage avant de le déplacer ou de le nettoyer ou s’il doit
rester inutilisé.
17. Cet appareil a été conçu pour un usage domestique tel qu’on le décrit dans ce manuel. Toute
autre utilisation non recommandée par le fabricant peut provoquer un incendie, un choc
électrique ou des blessures. L’utilisation d’accessoires non recommandés ou vendus par des
concessionnaires non autorisés peut entraîner des dangers.
18. Utilisez toujours sur une surface sèche et au niveau. Utilisez sur le plancher seulement.
19. N’utilisez PAS à l’extérieur.
20. AVERTISSEMENT : Pour réduire le risque d’incendie ou de choc électrique, N’utilisez PAS cet
appareil avec un régulateur de vitesse à semi-conducteurs.
21. NE tentez PAS de réparer ou d’ajuster les fonctions électriques ou mécaniques de cet appareil
puisqu’un tel geste aura pour effet d’annuler votre garantie. L’intérieur de l’appareil ne
contient aucune pièce nécessitant de l’entretien. L’entretien devrait être confié à un personnel
compétent seulement.
22. Branchez l’appareil dans des prises correctement mises à la terre seulement.
23. Conservez ces instructions.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES DE SÉCURITÉ
DISPOSITIF ANTIBASCULE
Cet appareil de chauffage est muni d’un dispositif antibascule. Si l’appareil de chauffage devait basculer,
un interrupteur interne le placera automatiquement hors tension. L’appareil de chauffage se remettra
en marche au moment de le replacer en position verticale. Pour continuer de l’utiliser, placez-le sous
tension au moyen de la télécommande fournie ou du tableau de commande de l’appareil de chauffage.
DISPOSITIF DE PROTECTION CONTRE LA SURCHAUFFE
Cet appareil de chauffage est muni d’un dispositif de protection contre la surchauffe. Lorsque les
composants internes de l’appareil de chauffage atteignent une certaine température qui présente un
risque de surchauffe ou d’incendie, celui-ci s’arrête automatiquement.
AVERTISSEMENT : Cet appareil de chauffage
présente une tension nominale de 120 V. Le
cordon est muni de la fiche présentée en A. Un
adaptateur présenté en C est disponible afin
de relier les fiches de mise à la masse à trois
broches aux prises à deux fentes. La cosse de
masse qui dépasse de l’adaptateur doit être
reliée à une masse permanente telle une boîte
à prises murale correctement mise à la masse.
On recommande de ne pas utiliser l’adaptateur
si une prise à trois fentes avec mise à la
masse est disponible.
NE CONTOURNEZ PAS LA FONCTION DE
SÉCURITÉ DE LA FICHE MISE À LA MASSE.

AVERTISSEMENT : Il est normal que le cordon d’alimentation soit chaud au toucher. Cependant,
un jeu entre la prise et la fiche peut provoquer la surchauffe de la fiche. Dans un tel cas, essayez
d’insérer la fiche dans une autre prise. Communiquez avec un électricien agréé qui vérifiera si la
prise originale présente des dommages.

1. Bouton de minuterie : Permet de régler la fonction de minuterie.
2. Bouton de mode : Permet de sélectionner le mode de fonctionnement.

PRÉPARATION
Placez l’appareil de chauffage sur une surface solide et de niveau et branchez-le dans une prise de
courant de 120 V, 60 Hz. Ouvrez ensuite l’interrupteur d’alimentation sur l’arrière de l’appareil. Utilisez
l’appareil de chauffage uniquement à la verticale alors qu’il est muni de ses roulettes.
INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION
1. Démarrage
ou
Ouvrez ou fermez l’appareil de chauffage en appuyant sur le
bouton de marche/arrêt (POWER) sur le tableau de commande
ou sur le bouton d’alimentation (ON/OFF) de la télécommande.
Une fois hors tension, les éléments chauffants cesseront
de fonctionner en premier lieu. Le ventilateur continuera de
fonctionner pendant au plus 3 minutes afin d’évacuer la chaleur
résiduelle de l’appareil de chauffage. Ce fonctionnement
est normal.
2. Démarrage et sélection du mode de fonctionnement
ou
Sélectionnez un réglage de chaleur.
Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour passer
d’un des trois réglages de chaleur à l’autre.
Le mode haut (HIGH) utilise un courant
de 1 500 W, alors que le mode bas (LOW)
utilise un courant de 1 000 W. Le mode ECO
représente une fonction économique qui
consomme peu d’énergie. Lorsqu’on opte
pour le mode ECO, l’appareil de chauffage
règle automatiquement la température à 20
°C (68 °F).
3. Réglage du verrou du tableau de commande
Pour des raisons de sécurité, les utilisateurs peuvent verrouiller le tableau de commande afin
d’empêcher les enfants d’utiliser l’appareil de chauffage. Le verrouillage est possible en mode
sous tension et en mode hors tension.
