Vario Touchless dosing dispenser
for reliable hand hygiene with standardised verification of effectiveness
High hygiene standards are essential for preventing infection or contamination from germs which are harmful
to health. This applies for any company or factory in which many people come into contact with one another,
and especially for doctors’ practices and hospitals, restaurants and public facilities. The Vario Touchless
dosing dispenser ensures careful and reliable hand hygiene with measurable verification of effectiveness
and has already proved itself many times over thanks to its ease of use in practice. It is suitable for 500ml
and 1000ml dispenser bottles and can carry liquids, soaps, gels and creams without dripping. The device is
characterised by its practical dosage setting and its attractive shape with smooth surfaces for easy cleaning.
Assembly and operation are simple and there is no need for maintenance once in use.

Positioning and assembly
Positioning
1. Select a position which is protected from splashing
water in which to mount the dosing dispenser.
2. The wall surface should be clean, dry and even.
3. Please ensure a minimum distance
above and below the device as
shown in the picture.
Assembly
Please use only the attachment materials provided
and original parts; this is the only way to guarantee
lasting stability.
Application of adhesive
When applying an adhesive, the wall surface should
be dry and free from dust, grease and silicon. It is
recommended that you also clean the surface with
white spirit.
The surface to be adhered to should not have a
distinctive texture. For freshly painted surfaces,
ensure that the paint is completely dry.
The adhesive tape should be temperature resistant
in the range –10°C to +40°C.
Screwing into the wall
To screw the device into the wall, you need a drill,
a 6mm drill bit suitable for the wall material, and a
screw driver (manual or electric).
1. You can mark the holes for drilling in the
correct positions by using the drilling template.
2. Drill the holes and insert the rawlplugs.
3. Then screw the device tightly into the wall using
the rawlplugs.

General application information
Protect the dosing dispenser against the effects of moisture, dust, heat and warmth.
Rooms with a relative humidity of 30-95% and a temperature of 5-40°C are suitable.
Use the device only with the hygiene products named for it.
WARNING!
No liability shall be assumed for damage caused by improper handling; this includes:
- Damage to the device caused by mechanical overstretching.
- Modifications to the device without the explicit permission of the manufacturer.
- Use for purposes other than those described in the application instructions.

Preparing for function
1. Loosen the container support by pulling the white
plate forwards gently.
2. Now insert the dosing hose into the dosing bottle.
3. Insert the dispenser bottle into the device
from below.
4. Finally, adjust the container support to the size
of the bottle so that the bottle sits securely.
Replacing the dosing nozzle
The blue dosing nozzle with squirt function mounted
by default is suitable for viscous hand cleaning and
care products. The white dosing nozzle with spray mist
function provided is suitable for liquid hand disinfect-
ants and gels.
1. Use the universal tool to pull the nozzle off the
end of the pump.
2. Push on the new nozzle.
Inserting the protective screen*
1. Use the universal tool to remove the fixing screw
so that the design frame can be opened.
2. Open the design frame downwards and pull it
off the device.
3. Insert the protective screen.
4. Close the protective screen and tighten the fixing
screw again.
5. With the closed protective screen, the bottle is
now also protected against theft.

Commissioning
Inserting batteries
1. The housing lid is opened by pulling upwards
gently.
2. Remove the battery screen and remove the
battery case.
3. Insert the four batteries into the case.
Ensure that the batteries are inserted with the
polarity as shown (+/-).
4. Re-insert the battery case and push the protective
screen back into place.
On and off switch
Slide the on and off switch into the desired position.
LED display
- Flashing green:
The device is configuring; once the flashing stops,
the device is ready to function.
- Fast flashing red:
The device is displaying the dosage once it
has been set.
- Flashing red and green:
The sensor pin is blocked. The device should be
checked for disruptive objects in the sensor area.
- Steady red light: The batteries are empty or in a
low charge condition. Please change or charge the
batteries as soon as possible.
Setting the dosage
4 setting levels are available. Set the dosage switch to
the desired position.
Different quantities come out of the nozzle depending
on the viscosity of the product being dispensed.
1 = minimum setting
4 = maximum setting
For liquids, level 1 = 1ml, level 4 = 5ml

Cleaning and maintenance
The device should be cleaned and disinfected regularly; please always remove the batteries to do this.
Clean the module by hand; water jets and high pressure cleaners are not suitable.
The surfaces are easy to clean using a watery soap solution or a surface disinfectant.
Cleaning and disinfection are recommended each time the bottle is replaced.
If soaps and creams are used, the pump should be washed carefully with warm water or replaced every three
months. To do this, it should be completely emptied and free from product residues.
Cleaning the dispenser head
1. Turn the device off.
2. Use the universal tool to push the hinge pin
through the shaft axis to remove it.
3. Pull the dispenser head upwards and remove
the hose.
4. Clean as described above.
5. Re-attach the dispenser head and the pump
hose together.
6. Push the hose into the device opening and place
the dispenser head onto it.
7. Push the hinge pin all the way through the
shaft axis to fix the dispenser head into
position again.
8. Turn the device on.

SYMPTOM
