System set-up.
For first time users and general familiarisation with this system; set-up the equipment in one area
for testing purposes to ensure that you understand how the equipment functions.
Battery Installation (Batteries not supplied)
Remove the battery cover at rear by loosening the securing screw located on bottom of each
handset. Insert 3 ‘AAA’ size batteries (not included) as per the enclosed diagram markings. Refit
cover. Always use batteries of the same type and make. Do not mix brands or types. Always
replace all batteries at the same time. Periodically check batteries for signs of wear or damage.
Leaking batteries may damage the equipment.
Power Connection (Optional-not supplied)
Remove any batteries. Plug a suitable 200mA AC/DC 6 V adaptor into a suitable power source and
connect supply plug to the DC input jack.
Set Up
Turn both units on by turning the dial (A2 + B2) to ‘On’ position. The green ‘Power On’ indictor
lamps will glow. Switch both ‘Channel’ buttons to the same channel. Adjust volume levels to the
desired level. Check to see that units are operating properly by testing in a quiet environment, by
having someone make noises next to baby unit, whilst you listen at the parent unit. When a signal
is received the red lights will glow. Warning! This product is NOT a substitute for direct adult
supervision. After installation ensure that you check to confirm that the product is functioning
properly.
Tips and Troubleshooting
When batteries are becoming weak, the LED indicator on the parent unit will change from green to
red. Never leave batteries in the units if not being used for a long period of time.
If the volume is too low or too high adjust the volume level on the parent unit. If there is no
transmission, check battery condition and ensure that both sets are set to the same channel. If you
are receiving noise or interference, try another channel setting. Always test units after making any
adjustments or changing batteries.
