Installation and startup
Surveyor Infrared
Camera Series
160 / 200 / 400 / 450 / 450 G7 / 640 / 1M

1. Insert the installation CD into the according drive
on your computer. If the
autorun option
is activated the installation wizard will start
automatically.
2. Otherwise start
setup.exe from the CD-ROM.
Follow the instructions of the wizard until the
installation is nished.
The installation wizard places a launch icon on the desktop
and in the start menu:
Start\Programs\SurveyorConnect
Connecting the camera
1. To connect the camera to the PC, plug the
USB cable to the camera rst. Afterwards
connect it with the PC (to disconnect the
camera and the computer remove the
USB cable from the computer rst and then
disconnect it from the camera).
Quick start guide
Uninstall previous versions of the Surveyor Connect
before installing the new software. To do this use
the Uninstall icon in the start menu.

Software installation

By default the program starts automatically
in English.
1. Start the software.
At the initial start the software asks for the calibrations les
which are available via internet or on the CD.
2. Install the calibration les at rst start of
the software.

After the calibration les have been installed the live image
from the camera is shown inside a window on your PC screen.
3. Choose the desired language in the menu
ToolsLanguage.
4. Adjust the focus of the image by turning the
exterior lens ring at the camera.
Starting the software
All drivers are booted via Windows OS automati-
cally. A driver installation is not necessary.
