1. INTRODUCTION
We would like to congratulate you on the purchase of our garden fountain. We appreciate your trust.
That‘s why functional security and operational safety stands by us on rst place.
To prevent damage to persons or property, you should read this user manual care-
fully. Please observe all safety precautions and instructions for proper use of the
pump. Failure to follow the instructions and safety precautions can result in injury or
property damage.
Please keep this manual with the instructions and safety instructions carefully in
order to at any time you can restore them. Please always download the latest version
of the user manual of www.pro-pumpe.de under „downloads“. This shall always
prevail.

2. IN GENERAL
The Garden fountains are high-quality fountain pump systems for outdoor or indoor use. The perfect
eye-catcher.
2.1 It‘s recommended NOT to conduct yourself technical modications. First, it is not certain
whether these changes are technically correct and, secondly, because no guarantee can
be granted.
2.2Transport damages are immediately to be reported to the package distributor and to us
in written form. Failure to give timely notice to the shipping company, and are therefore
rejected your claims from the transport company, so we can not accept these claims as
well. In your legal obligation to cooperate to minimize damage, we point out expressly
herewith.

3. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
zUnpack all the water fountain components from
the packaging and lie on a at surface.
zConnect the pump to the water hose.
zThe LEDs are pre-assembled in the fountain
body.
zPlug the LEDs to the connecting cable with the
cable plugs.
zConnect each cable plug to a LED if there are
several as shown in Figure 1.
zTighten the closing caps on the LED connectors.
zMount the ground spike or wall bracket to the
solar panel (see picture 2).
zRemove the protective lm from the solar panel
(if existing).
zPosition the solar panel to receive direct sunlight.
The Li-ion battery can only function if the solar
panel is not in the shade. Adjust the angle of the
solar panel if necessary (see picture 3).
zConnect the solar panel, using the cable plug, to
the second connection cable of the pump (see
picture 1).
zTighten the sealing cap.
zFill clean water into the reservoir.
Note: Distilled water is recommended to
reduce mineral deposits and bacteria
buildup.
zBefore turning on the pump, make sure there are
no kinks in the cable or water hose
zWhen installed correctly, the water will begin to
ow.
Please note that some water may splash out of the well when the pump
starts up for the rst time.

IMPORTANT!
Problem: Uneven water distribution or water splashes in the well area.
Correction: During the rst start-up, uneven water distribution may appear. In such cases, we
recommend checking the stability of the fountain and the water ow.

5. PERFORMANCE
The performance of the pump depends on the orientation of the solar panels toward the sun and the
intensity of. The max. Data obtained under optimal conditions. A feature in the shade or on cloudy
days can not be guaranteed. In models with battery Operation depends on the function of the bat-
tery is charged.

4. FUNCTION OF THE SOLAR PANEL
„ON“-switch:
zWhen the light intensity is high, the pump works and the LED light is on. The battery is charged with
the excess energy.
zAt low light intensity, the pump and the LED light is working with the battery energy. If the battery is
discharged, the pump stops and the LED light is switched o󰀨. In daylight the battery is charged and
the pump operation starts again.
„OFF“-switch:
zWhen the light intensity is high, the energy from the solar panel is used for the pump and the LED
light. The battery is not charged.
zAt low light intensity the pump stops and the LED light is o󰀨.

6. MAINTENANCE:
zKeep the fountain in good working condition by cleaning it and changing the water every
3 days. Using distilled or puried water will give the best performance.
zIf debris is caught in the intake vents of the pump, disconnect the pump from any power
sources and rinse the pump under clean running water.
zBefore storing the pump in winter it is absolutely important to rinse it with clean water.
zAny dirt particles remaining in the pump will dry out on the pump shaft during the time of storage and
cause irreparable damage.
The solar module should only be cleaned with
soft tissue or propriety glass cleaning solution.

If after some time the pump starts losing power or stops working, please clean up sediment
in the pump shell or lter cribs. Kindly note the pump can be opened by pressing down at
the bottom of the lter housing. To clear the impeller, open the pump housing at the front by
sliding up the front plastic cover.

5.1 FROST
Frost can cause damage to the garden fountain and pump. If there is a
risk of frost, the garden fountain and the pump must be emptied, rinsed
with clean water and stored in a dry place. Then you will enjoy it for a
very long time!

7. BATTERY INFORMATION
After 12 to 18 months, you should replace the battery. For this purpose open the battery cover and
replace the battery with a new. Please nd the item number of the replacement battery in section

Please note the limited implied warranty of 6 months.
Important! It must be ensured that the battery cover is properly tightened and watertight.
With repeated charge and discharge cycles Lead-Acid and NiMh battery packs are less e󰀩cient
(memory e󰀨ect).
This e󰀨ect is much less pronounced, but still present in small mass in the Li-ion batteries used.
Through very short and frequent loading operations and many other operational inuences batter-
ies can age prematurely strong. The batteries are therefore subject to a consumable and wearing
part of a shortened warranty of 6 months.
If you nd that the battery will be less e󰀩cient, the battery needs to be fully charged. These allow
the unit for 2 to 3 days (pump should not be connected) standing in the sun in order to allow a
maximum charge the battery or use a suitable external charger. We recommend to occasionally
repeat this procedure to extend the battery life.
If after this recharging the battery still does not meet expectations, you should replace the batteries.
NOTE: The battery is supplied charged. If the state of charge, contrary to expectations,
not be su󰀩cient to charge the batteries for at least 8 hours to allow su󰀩cient charging of
the battery (so damage the battery to avoid overcharging, the pump must be connected).
8. WARNINGS ON BATTERY
Lithium Ion cells and battery may get hot, explode or ignite and cause serious
injury if they are exposed to abusive conditions, Be sure to follow the safety
warnings listed below:
zDo not install the battery backwards, so the polarity is reversed
zDo not connect the positive or/and negative terminal or/and the battery to each other with any meta
object, such as wire
zDo not disassemble or modify the battery. The battery contains safety and protection devices which
may cause the battery to generate heat, explode or ignite if damaged
zDo not place the battery in or near re, on stoves or other high temperature locations. Do not place
the battery in direct sunlight or use/store the battery inside cars during hot weather. Doing so may
cause the battery to generate heat, explode or ignite
zIt is not advised for children to handle the battery
zWhen the battery is worn out, wrap the terminals with adhesive tape or similar materials before
disposal
zImmediately discontinue use of the battery, if there is an unusual smell, a change of color or shape, or
if it appears abnormal in any other way
zDo not place the battery in microwave ovens, high pressure containers or on cookware facilities
zIn the event of the battery is leaking and uid gets into your eye, do not rub the eye, rinse well with
water and immediately seek medical advice. If left untreated, the battery uid could cause serious
injury to the eye

9. SECURITY TIPS
zObey absolutely valid regulations on the electrical security
zNever run pump dry
zPumping inammable, as well as all other aggressive liquids is prohibited
zObserve water temperature of max. 35°C
zThe mains plug must be disconnected before carrying out any work on the garden fountain
zNever pull the pump on the electrical cable or pressure hose
zAvoid cross section narrowing
zDuring longer unused times, clean the pump, wash it out with clear water, dry and store it
at room temperature
zTest wells for enough owing water (dry run danger)
zThe pump must be protected by a residual current circuit breaker with a tripping current of
30 mA.
zThe electrical connection must always be carried out by an authorized specialist.
zThe pump may be used by children aged 8 years and above as well as persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or those who lack skills, experience and knowledge only
if they are supervised. These aforementioned persons should only use the appliance while
adhering to safe instructions and resulting dangers.
zCleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
zUnder certain circumstances, it is possible that contamination of the water may occur due to
lubricants owing out.
zAll solar panels are very sensitive, protect it before all against extremal mechanical inuences
(shock, vibration, etc.)

zTo take over no responsibility in the case of accidents or damages on the basis of
carelessness or disregard to the instruction in this book.
zTo reject every responsibility for the damages which original from the improper use of the
pump
10. GUARANTEE REGULATIONS
For all manufacturing and material defects, the statutory warranty applies. In these cases we take
the replacement or repair of the device. Shipping costs shall be borne by our company, except as
required by law. Please report the warranty on our service platform https://www.pro-pumpe.de/infor-
mation.php. We will inform you how to proceed with case-related. Returns please su󰀩cient postage.
Unfortunately not prepaid returns can not be accepted because they are ltered out before delivery.
Our service we provide in Germany.
The warranty does not cover:
zMaterial wear (sealing rings, impeller wheels, impeller chambers)
zUnjustied interventions or changes in the pump
zDamages by self fault
zImproper servicing and improper use
zDRY RUNNING (Also partially!) of the pump
Moreover, we give no damage compensation for secondary damages!

12. NOTES ON PRODUCT LIABILITY
We point out, that we are only liable for damages under the Product Liability Act, which are caused
by our units if no changes were made to the equipment. If repairs are carried out by our authorized
service, we are only liable if original spare parts and accessories were used.

Electro devices of our company, labeled with the symbol of the crossed trash bin, are not
permitted to be disposed in your household garbage. We are registered at the German
registration department EAR under the WEEE-No. DE25523173.
This symbol means, that you’re not allowed to treat this product as a regular household
waste item – it has to be disposed at a recycling collection point of electrical devices.

2. ALLGEMEINES
Die Gartenbrunnen sind hochwertige Fontänen-Pumpensysteme für den Einsatz im Außen- bzw.
Innenbereich. Der perfekte Blickfang für Garten und Wohnung.
2.1 Es ist NICHT zu empfehlen, selbst technische Modikationen durchzuführen. Erstens
ist nicht sichergestellt, ob diese Veränderungen technisch einwandfrei sind und zwei-
tens erlischt damit die Garantie.
2.2 Transportschäden sind unverzüglich dem Speditionsunternehmen und uns schriftlich
mitzuteilen. Unterbleibt die rechtzeitige Anzeige beim Transportunternehmen und wer-
den deswegen Ihre Ansprüche vom Transportunternehmen abgelehnt, so können wir
diese Ansprüche ebenso nicht anerkennen. Auf Ihre gesetzliche Mitwirkungspicht zur
Schadensminimierung weisen wir Sie hiermit ausdrücklich hin.

3. MONTAGEANLEITUNG
zEntnehmen Sie alle Teile vorsichtig der
Verpackung und legen sie diese auf eine ebene
Fläche.
zVerbinden Sie die Pumpe mit dem
Wasserschlauch.
zDie LEDs sind im Brunnenkörper vormontiert.
zSchließen Sie die LEDs mit den Kabelsteckern
an das Verbindungskabel.
zVerbinden Sie jeden einzelnen Kabelstecker
mit einem LED, falls mehrere vorhanden sind
wie in der Abbildung 1.
zDrehen Sie die Verschlusskappen an den LED-
Anschlüssen fest zu.
zMontieren Sie den Erdspieß oder die
Wandhalterung am Solarpanel (siehe Abbildung
2).
zEntfernen Sie die Schutzfolie vom Solarpanel
(wenn vorhanden).
zPositionieren Sie das Solarpanel so, dass es
direktes Sonnenlicht aufnehmen kann. Der
Li-Ionen-Akku kann nur funktionieren, wenn
das Solarpanel nicht im Schatten steht. Passen
Sie ggf. den Winkel des Solarpanels an (siehe
Abbildung 3).
zSchließen Sie das Solarpanel, mittels
Kabelstecker, an das zweite Verbindungskabel
der Pumpe an (siehe Abbildung 1).
zDrehen Sie die Verschlusskappe fest zu.
zFüllen Sie sauberes Wasser in den Behälter.
Hinweis: Es wird destilliertes Wasser empfoh-
len, um Mineralablagerungen und
Bakterienbildung zu reduzieren.
zVergewissern Sie sich vor dem Einschalten der
Pumpe, dass das Kabel und der Wasserschlauch
keine Knicke aufweisen
zBei korrekter Installation beginnt das Wasser zu ießen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass beim ersten Anlaufen der Pumpe etwas Wasser
aus dem Brunnen spritzen kann.

WICHTIG!
Problem: Ungleichmäßige Wasserverteilung bzw. Wasserspritzer im Brunnenbereich.
Abhilfe: Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme kann es zu einer ungleichmäßigen Wasserverteilung kom-
men. In solchen Fällen empfehlen wir, die Standgenauigkeit des Brunnens und den Wasserduchuß
zu prüfen.
