WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and
should not be used for any other purpose or in any other
application, such as for nonͲdomestic use or in a commercial
environment.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to
the supply mains.
The plug must be removed from the socketͲoutlet before the
water reservoir is filled with water.
The filling aperture must not be opened during use.
The iron must only be used with the stand provided.
The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on
whichthestandisplacedisstable.
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.

xOnly open the steam tank safety cap when the appliance has been disconnected from the mains

when the product is in use as there is a risk of scalding fromhigh pressure steam.
xWhen refilling the pressure tank only use distilled / clean water. Do not fill the water tank with
vinegar, fabric softener, descaler, additives, perfumes or other chemical agents.

NOTE:
It is normal that strange odour will come out of the iron when operating the iron for the first
time. This will cease after a short while.
Some particles may come ou
t
of the soleplate when operating the iron
f

irst time. This is
normal. The particles are harmless and will stop coming out of the iron after a short while.
When operating the steam generator, i
t
may produce a pumping sound. This is normal. The
sound tells you that water is being pumped into the steam generator.
During the heating process of thesoleplate, there will be a littlesteam coming out from the
soleplate automatically and this phenomenon will continue for about 3 seconds. This is
normal.
Ironing Temperature Setting Guide
READ THE GARMENT LABELS AND FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER’S IRONING INSTRUCTIONS THAT
ARE OFTEN SHOWN BY SYMBOLS SIMILAR TO THE ONES BELOW:
xThe iron heats up more quickly than it cools down. Therefore, start ironing articles that need to be
ironed at the lowest temperature, such as those made of synthetic fibres.
xI
f
the fabric consists o
f
various kinds o
f
fibres, always select the temperature required by the most
delicate fibres, i.e.the lowest temperature.
xSilk and other fabrics that are likely to become shiny should be ironedon the inner side.
xVelvet and other textures that rapidly become shiny should be ironed in one direction with light
pressure applied. Always keep the iron moving at any moment.
xIf you do not know what kind of fabric the article is made of, iron a piece ofthe material which is
not visible when you wear it to find out the appropriate temperature for your articles.
xPure woollen fabrics (100% wool) should be ironed with the steam ironing. It isrecommended to
set the temperature dial tothe maximum position and use a drypressing cloth
xNever iron over zip, rivet in the cloth. This will damage the soleplate. Iron around any such
object.
xWhen steam ironing woollen fabrics, shiny patches may occur.You may prevent this by turning
the article inside out and ironing the reverse side.
Steam Ironing
Before ironing, check that the garment to be ironed is suitable for steam ironing.
Always make sure the appliance is unplugged before filling the water tank.
1. Place the appliance on a stable level surface.
2. Press the tab under the water tank handle to remove the water tank out
of the base unit.

3. Lift the filling cap and fill with water up to the MAX fill line. Replace the
filling cap.
xIt is recommended to use purified water.
4. Attach the water tank back to thebase unit until a click is heard.
5. Make sure that the iron is placed properly on the thermal insulation pad.
6. Plug the appliance tothe mains socket and press to turn on the appliance.
xThe indicator light will illumiante.
7. Turn the temperature dial to your desired setting.
xThe temperature indicator light on the iron will illuminate.
8. When the temperature indicator light on the iron goes out, the set temperature has been reached
and the iron is ready for use.
9. To obtain continuous flow of steam during ironing, wait for the
steam indicator light to illuminate and then press and hold
the steam trigger to deliver steam through the soleplate.
xATTENTION! If there is no steam sprayed out of the
soleplate after pressing down the steam trigger to release
steam for 1 minute, you shall check the water in the water tank. If there is less water left in the
water tank, you shall refill the water tank.
xTo refill the water tank, please turn off and disconnect the appliance from the mains socket.
Slide out the water tank and then refill with water up to the MAX fill line.
Dry Ironing
To iron without steam, first connect the appliance to the mains socket and then press to turn
on the appliance. Select the desired temperature by turning the temperature dial. Wait until the
temperature indicator light goes out, indicating that the desired temperature has been reached.
For dry ironing it is not necessary to press and hold the steam trigger.

l’appareil. Le nettoyage et l'entretien par l'usager ne doivent

Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé
par le fabricant, son service après vente ou des personnes de
qualification similaire afin d'éviter un danger.
L'utilisateur ne doit pas laisser le fer sans surveillance lorsqu'il
est raccordé à l'alimentation.
La fiche de prise de courant doit être retirée du socle de prise
de courant avant de remplir le réservoir d'eau.
L'orifice de remplissage ne doit pas être ouvert pendant le
fonctionnement.
Le fer ne doit être utilisé qu'avec le reposeͲfer fourni.
Le fer à repasser doit être utilisé et reposé sur une surface
stable.
Lorsque le fer est remis sur son reposeͲfer, s’assurer que la
surface qui supporte le reposeͲfer est stable.
Le fer à repasser ne doit pas être utilisé s'il a subi une chute, s'il
y a des signes visibles de dommages ou s'il fuit.
Le fer à repasser et son cordon d'alimentation doivent toujours
être hors de portée des enfants de moins de 8 ans quand il est
sous tension ou pendant le refroidissement.

phénomène est normal. Ces particules sont inoffensives et ne sortiront plus au bout d'un
moment.
La station àvapeur peut produire un bruit de pompage lorsqu'elle fonctionne. Ce phénomène
est normal. Le bruit en question indique que de l'eau est en train d'être pompée vers la station.
Lorsque la semelle est en train de chauffer, une petite quanti

automatiquement et ce phénomène dure environ 3 secondes. Ce phénomène est normal.
Guide de réglage de la température du fer
LISEZ TOUJOURS LES ÉTIQUETTES DES VÊTEMENTS ET RESPECTEZ LES INDICATIONS DU FABRICANT,
QUI FIGURENT SOUVENT SOUS LA FORME DES SYMBOLES SUIVANTS:
xLe fer met plus de temps à refroidir qu’à chauffer. Pour cette raison, commencez par repasser les
vêtements à la température la plusbasse (ex: les fibres synthétiques)
xSi le tissu est composé de fibres différentes, choisissez toujours la température requise par les
fibres les plus délicates, c'estͲàͲdire la température la plus basse.
xIl est conseillé de repasser de l'intérieur tous les tissus susceptibles de devenir brillants après le
repassage, par exemple la soie.
xLe velours et les autres tissus qui acquièrent facilement des taches brillantes doivent être repassés
dans une seule direction, en exerçant très peu de pression. Gardez toujours le fer en mouvement.
xSi vous ignorez de quel tissu estcomposé un vêtement, repérez un endroit invisible de l’extérieur
lorsque vous le portez, et essayez différentes températures de repassage sur cet endroit.
xLes articles en pure laine (100%) doivent être repassés à la vapeur. Il estconseillé d'utiliser la
températuremaximaleetderepasseràtraversunchiffonsec.
xNe repassez en aucun cas les fermetures éclairs et les éventuels rivets des vêtements. Cela
endommagerait la semelle. ContournezͲles toujours avec le fer.
xAprès avoir repassé à la vapeur des articles en laine, vous remarquerez des taches brillantes. Pour
éviter cela, mettez ces articles à l'envers et repassez l'intérieur.

Repassageàlavapeur
Avant de commencer, assurezͲvous que le repassage à la vapeur convient pour le vêtement en
question.
Vérifiez toujours que l'appareil est débranché avant de remplir le réservoir.
1. Placez l’appareil sur une surface plane et stable.
2. Décrochez le réservoir de la base de l'appareil en appuyant sur le bouton
situé sous la poignée du réservoir.
3. Ôtezle bouchon du trou de remplissage, puis remplissez le réservoir
avec de l'eau jusqu'au trait MAX. Puis remettez le bouchon en place.
xNous vous recommandons d'utiliser de l'eau purifiée.
4. Remettez le réservoir en place dans la base de l'appareil (vous devez l'entendre s'encliqueter).
5. Placez correctement le fer sur la surface d'isolation thermique.
6. Branchez l'appareil sur une prise de courant, puis appuyezsur pour l'allumer.
xLe témoin lumineux s'allume.
7. Mettez le bouton du thermostat sur la température requise.
xLe témoin de température du fer s'allume.
8. Lorsque le témoinde température du fer s'éteint, la température réglée est atteinte et le fer est
prêt à l'emploi.
9. Pour repasser avec un débit de vapeur continu, attendez que le
témoin lumineux de vapeur s'allume puis appuyez sur le
bouton de vapeur et gardezͲle enfoncé; la vapeur sort par la
semelle.
xATTENTION! Si aucune vapeur ne sort de la semelle alors que
vous avez déjà appuyé sur le bouton pendant une minute, vérifiezle niveau d'eau dans le
réservoir. Si le niveau d'eau est insuffisant dans le réservoir, rajoutezͲen.
xPour remplir le réservoir, commencez par éteindre et débrancher l'appareil de la prise
électrique. Sortez le réservoir de l'appareil et remplissezͲle avec de l'eau jusqu'au trait MAX.

WAARSCHUWINGEN
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik
en mag niet worden gebruikt voor andere doeleinden of in
andere toepassingen, zoals voor nietͲhuishoudelijk gebruik of in
commerciële omgevingen.
Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8

aar en
personen met een beperkt lichamelijk, zintuiglijk of geestelijk
vermogen of een gebrek aan ervaring of kennis op voorwaarde
dat zij onder toezicht staan of instructies betreffende het veilige
gebruik van dit apparaat hebben ontvangen en inzicht hebben
in de gevaren die het gebruik ervan kan inhouden. Kinderen
mogen niet met dit apparaat spelen. Reinigen en onderhoud
mogen alleen worden gedaan door kinderen als zij ouder zijn
dan 8 jaar en onder toezicht staan.
Een beschadigd snoer mag uitsluitend worden vervangen door
de fabrikant, een erkende reparatieservice of personen met
gelijkwaardige kwalificaties om gevaar te voorkomen.
Laat het strijkijzer zo lang het op de netvoeding is aangesloten
niet onbeheerd achter.
Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het
waterreservoir met water vult.
De vulopening mag niet worden geopend terwijl het apparaat is
ingeschakeld.
Gebruik het strijkijzer uitsluitend met de meegeleverde voet.
Gebruik en bewaar dit strijkijzer uitsluitend op een stabiele
ondergrond.
Controleer voordat u het strijkijzer neerzet of het oppervlak
waar u het gaat neerzetten stabiel is.
Gebruik het strijkijzer niet wanneer het is gevallen, zichtbare
tekenen van beschadiging vertoont of lekt.
Houd het strijkijzer en het snoer ervan buiten het bereik van
kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar terwijl het is ingeschakeld of afkoelt.

onderhoud” voor meer informatie over het vullen en reinigen
van het apparaat.
BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN
Lees de volledige handleiding voordat u dit apparaat in gebruik neemt en bewaar voor toekomstig gebruik.
xLaat het snoer niet over derand van een tafel o

aanrecht hangen, noch in contact komen met
warme oppervlakken.
xSchakel hetapparaat uit en haal de stekker uithet stopcontact wanneer het nietwordt gebruikt,
voor het vullen met water of ledigen en voor het reinigen.
xLaat het ingeschakelde apparaat niet onbeheerd achter.
xHet gebruik van accessoires die niet door de fabrikant worden aanbevolen kan brand, elektrische
schokken of verwonding veroorzaken.
xNiet buitenhuis gebruiken.
xGebruik dit apparaat voor geen enkel ander dan het beoogde doeleinde.
xSta niet toe dat kinderen aan de voedingskabel o

stoompijp trekken terwijlhet apparaat in
werking is, omdat dit kan leiden tot ernstige verwonding.
xWikkel de voedingskabel niet rond het strijkijzer.
xToegankelijke onderdelen worden heet: raak het apparaat alleen bij de handgrepen aan.
xHet aanraken van de hete metalen onderdelen, heet water o
f
stoom kan leiden tot ernstige
brandwonden.
xGebruik geen ander apparaat met een hoog wattage op dezelfde stekker omdat dit tot
overbelasting van het circuit kan leiden.
xSluit dit apparaat niet aan op eenstopcontact voor scheerapparaten.
xRicht de stoomstraal nooit rechtstreeks naar apparaten die elektrische onderdelen bevatten.
xRicht de stoomstraal nooit rechtstreeks naar personen of huisdieren en wees voorzichtig het
strijkijzer van u weg te richten wanneer u verticaal strijkt, vanwege een risico van ernstige
verwonding/brandwonden.
xOpen de veiligheidsdop van het stoomreservoir alleen wanneer de netstekker van de netvoeding is
losgekoppeld en het apparaat volledig is afgekoeld, omdat nog stoom in de tank aanwezig kan zijn.
Open de veiligheidsdop NOOIT terwijl het apparaat in gebruik is, vanwege een risico van
brandwonden door stoom onder hoge druk.
xGebruik voor het hervullen van het drukreservoir alleen gedestilleerd/schoon water zonder
toevoegingen, parfums of chemische stoffen.

OPMERKINGEN:
Het is normaal dat een vreemde geur uit het apparaat komt wanneer u het voor het eerst
inschakelt. Dit duurt maar even.
Er kunnen wa
t
stofdeeltjes uit de zoolplaat komen wanneer u het strijkijzer voor het eerst
gebruikt. Dit is normaal. Dezestofdeeltjes zijn onschadelijk en verdwijnen snel uit het
apparaat.
Het is mogelijk dat u pompgeluiden hoort wanneer de stoomgenerator is ingeschakeld. Dit is
normaal. Dit geluid betekent dat water in de stoomgenerator wordt gepompt.
Tijdens het opwarmen van de zoolplaat komt ongeveer 3 seconden lang automatisch wat
stoom uit de zoolplaat. Dit is normaal.
De strijktemperatuur instellen
LEES DE KLEDINGLABELS EN VOLG DE STRIJKINSTRUCTIES VAN DE FABRIKANT, DIE VAAK WORDEN
AANGEGEVEN MET DE ONDERSTAANDE SYMBOLEN:
xHet strijkijzer warmt sneller op dan het afkoelt. Daarom is het raadzaam te beginnen met
kledingstukken die een lagere strijktemperatuur vergen, zoals synthetische vezels.
xAls een stof uit verschillende soorten vezels is samengesteld dient u altijd te kiezen voor de
temperatuur die geschikt is voor de meest delicate vezels, m.a.w. de laagste temperatuur.
xZijde en andere stoffen die gemakkelijk gaan glanzen dienen aan de binnenzijde te worden
gestreken.
xFluweel en andere stoffen die snel gaan glanzen dienen in één richting en met een weinig druk te
worden gestreken. Houd het strijkijzer nooit stil op de stof.
xAls u niet weet uitwelke stof een kledingstuk is gemaakt, strijkt u eerst een stukje van de stof dat
tijdens het dragen niet zichtbaar is om de geschikte strijktemperatuur te bepalen.
xZuiver wollen stof (100% wol) moeten met stoom worden gestreken. Het is raadzaam het
temperatuurwiel naar de maximumstand te schakelen en een droge persdoek te gebruiken.
xStrijk nooit over ritsen of klinknagels in stof. Dit kan de zoolplaat beschadigen. Strijk rondom
dergelijke zaken.
xBij het stoomstrijken van wollen stoffen is het mogelijk dat glanzende vlekken ontstaan. U kunt dit
voorkomen door de binnenzijde van het kledingstuk te strijken.
Stoomstrijken
Controleer voordat u met strijken begint of het kledingstuk geschikt is voor stoomstrijken.
Haal altijd de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact voordat u het waterreservoir gaat vullen.
1. Zet het apparaat neer op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond.

2. Druk op het klepje onderaan de handgreep van het waterreservoir om
het waterreservoir uit de voet te nemen.
3. Til de vuldop uit en vul met water tot op de MAXͲvullijn. Zet de vuldop
weer in.
xHet gebruik van gezuiverd water is raadzaam.
4. Bevestig het waterreservoir weer op de voet zodat u een klikgeluid hoort.
5. Controleer of het strijkijzer correct op het thermisch isolatiekussen is neergezet.
6. Sluit het apparaat aan op een stopcontact en druk op om het apparaat in te schakelen.
xHet stroomlampje gaat branden.
7. Draai het temperatuurwiel naar de gewenste stand.
xHet temperatuurͲcontrolelampje op het strijkijzer gaat branden.
8. De ingestelde temperatuur is bereikt wanneer het temperatuurͲcontrolelampje op het strijkijzer
dooft. Het strijkijzer is dan klaar voor gebruik.
9. Wacht tot het stoomlampje brandt en houdt dan de
stoomtrekker ingedrukt om stoom doorheen de zoolplaat te
stuwen voor een ononderbroken stoomstroom.
xLET OP! Wanneer na 1 minuut lang indrukken van de
stoomtrekker nog steeds geen stoom uit de zoolplaat komt,
dient u het waterpeil in het waterreservoir te controleren. Vul het waterreservoir zo nodig bij.
xSchakel voordat u het waterreservoir vult het apparaat uit en haal de stekker uit het
stopcontact. Schuif het waterreservoir uit het apparaat en vul water bij tot op de MAXͲvullijn.
Droogstrijken
Om zonder stoom te strijken sluit u het apparaat eerst aan op het stopcontact en drukt u op
om het strijkijzer in te schakelen. Selecteer de gewenste temperatuur door het temperatuurwiel te
draaien. Wacht tot hettemperatuurͲcontrolelampje dooft, wat aangeeft dat de gewenste
temperatuur is bereikt.
Bij droogstrijken is het niet nodig de stoomtrekker ingedrukt te houden.
