Operation & Maintenance
Operation & Maintenance
• Frequently clean the fountain using warm soapy water. Avoid all abrasive and
corrosive cleaning materials.
• Do not pour any waste cleaning water down the drain to avoid blocking the drain
trap.
• If the chiller is not used (e.g. more than 3 days) the power can be switched off to
conserve energy.
• We recommend that the fountain is cleaned aer any period of disuse.
• Keep the area surrounding the fountain clean and dry. In the event of any leakages,
switch off the water and power and call Puretec.
• For models where a filter kit is supplied, Puretec recommends changing the filter
every 6-12 months, when taste and odour return or when you detect a decrease in
flow, whichever comes first.
