Installation of Pursanova Disk™ in
industrial/steel & Cold pipe application
PLEASE NOTE: The device you are going to install is a high-tech product. Please
handle with care and protect from physical Impact, falling down, keep away from contact
with oil, chemicals, splash water and strong electrical fields. For choosing the correct
place of Installation, please follow thoroughly the installation instruction.
(1) Thoroughly Clean pipe with a dry cloth.
(2) Wrap approx. 5-6 layers household plastic wrap (or any other shrink-wrap) around
the pipe.
(3) Wrap enough tape around the pipe and the plastic wrap to make the Disk fit
thoroughly around. Please make sure PURSANOVA Disk will be totally closed in the
diameter ends - No gap, even small, must remain. Alternative: the tape can be installed
first, whatever suits the situation.
(4) Fit the PURSANOVA Disk according to the Installation Guidelines and follow the
instructions.
(5) Wrap another 5-6 layers household plastic wrap (or any shrink-wrap) around the
PURSANOVA Disk and fit the ends around the pipe.
You can fix the shrink-wrap with a tie-wrap to hold it in place.

(6) Tape-up the Disk to protect from physical Impact and "seal" the ends of the plastic
wrap as well with tape for protection against (splash) water.
(7) Fix one or two strong tie-wraps on each side of the Disk to hold it in place and to re-
enforce the sealing tape.
(8) This Installation protects the PURSANOVA Disk against externals, like splash
water, dirt, dust or rain. But this has to be done in a way, that no condensation can be
established underneath the cover.
(9) Installation of PURSANOVA Disk on outside application: Install a second protection
with strong and UV-resistant layer.
