Precautions
Pleasereadthismanualcompletelyandcarefullypriortoattemptingtoinstallyournewcarvideo
equipment. Installcorrectly,yournewequipmentwillprovideyouwithyearofenjoyableandsafeusage.
Installationofthisequipmentinanyportionofavehiclewhichimpairsordistractsthedriverisimproper
anddangerous.Weassumesnoliabilitywhatsoeverforfailuretofollowtheproperinstallationofthis
products.
1.Donotoperatethisequipmentwhiledriving-safedrivingshouldalwaysbeyourhighestpriority.
2.Donotinstallcomponentsinareaswhicharesusceptibletorain,moisturedirectsunlight,extreme
heatorcold,excessivedust,dirtorhumidity.
3.Immediately unplugthepowercordandsendthemonitortoyourlocaldealerorservicecenteras
soonaspossible:
a)ifthereissmokeoranypeculiarodorpresentduringuse
b)ifthereisdamagetoanyoftheinternalcomponents
4.Toavoiddamagetothemonitorandriskofelectronicshock,donotpermitanyofthisequipmentto
becomedamporwetfromwaterorliquid.Ifthisdoesoccur,immediatelyunplugthepowercordand
sendthemonitortoyourlocaldealerorservicecenterassoonaspossible.
5.Donotattempttorepair,openordissembleanyofthecomponents.Dangeroushighvoltagesare
presentwhichmayresultinelectricshock.
6.Useonlyapowersourcewith12voltsDC(negativeground).
7.Donotplaceobjectsonorsuspendobjectsfromthepowercord,asthismaydamagethecord.
8.Donottwistorplacethepowercordnearanysourceofheatinthevehicle.
9.Donotattempttorepairadamaged,brokenorfaultypowercord.Replaceitwithanewoneimmediately.
10.Avoiddroppinganymetalobjectsorinflammableitemsintothemonitorventilationslots.
11.Afterthemonitorisinstalled,donotarbitrarilypullitdownorstrikeit.Thismayloosen themounting
screwsandcauseitfalldown.

Unscrewitandtakeawaythebackcoverbefore
installtoheadresthousingorsun-visorhousing
CAUTION:makesurethescrewarenotlong
enoughtogothroughtheheadrest!
Ifyouhaveanydoubtsaboutthistypeof
installation,pleaseconsultyourlocalmobile
electronicsretailer. Cutting and make holes in
theheadrestwillcausedamagewhichis
expansivetorepair.

Removefoam&obstructions
Carefullypeelbackthematerial.Setthe
adjustablebladetooneinchdepthandcut
aroundtheedgesofthehole,staying1/4inch
insidetheedge.Pulluponecornerofthefoam
andusethebladetocutunderneath.Remove
smallsectionatatime,usingthepullupand
cutmethodforuniformdepth.Useadremelor
otherappropriatetooltoremoveother
obstructions.Insertthemonitortomeasurethe
fitandmakeadjustmentsifnecessary

correctfasteners
Routethecablethroughthevisor
Runthesuppliedcablethroughtheopening
andoutthetopofthevisor.Ifpossible,
concealthewiresusingashaftcovering.
Connectthepower,groundandvideoleadsto
testtheMONITOR.
Beforeconnectingthemonitor,pullthe
connectingcableassemblythroughthe
visorhousingasshownindiagram.Place
visorhousingintotheopeningandsecurewith
correctfasteners.
