NOTES (MJC-110R ONLY)
When the TV tuner box is connected to AV4 (TV) input of the monitor unit,
To select the color system for your TV,
1. Select the color system (PAL or NTSC) at PICTURE menu on RADIO mode first.
(For more information on PICTURE menu, see page 23 of owner’s manual for the
monitor unit)
2. Select color system again on FUNCTION menu on AV4 (TV) mode.
(For more information on FUNCTION menu, see page 4.)
Select the desired mode by pressing the MODE button.
Each time you press the MODE button, the mode is selected as follows.
RADIO -> AV1 -> AV2 -> AV3 (CD/VCD changer) -> AV4 (TV)
1. When AV sources are connected to AV1,2 or 3 input of the monitor unit, they
must be controlled on the AV mode that they are connected to.
2. Turn power off on radio or AV1 or AV2 orAV3 mode only. Do not turn power off on AV4
(TV) mode.

NOTE
1. The OSD automatically disappears in about 10 seconds after it appears on the screen.
2. When MENU button is pressed on TV(AV4) mode, the screen shows only FUNCTION
menu. The items on USER SELECTOR or PICTURE menu must be controlled on radio
or AV mode (MJC-110R).
3. FM TRANSMISSION ON/OFF and FM FREQ. are options in factory mode
(MJC-110R/MJC-120R).
MJC-110R
1. Press the MENU button, The monitor shows following FUNCTION menu.
2. Press the SEARCH UP/DOWN button to select the desired item.
3. Press the CH UP/DOWN button to control the selected item.
4. To remove OSD (On Screen Display), press the MENU button again.

ON AV4 (TV) MODE (MJC-110R ONLY)
This is to select what field is for your country.
1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until TV (AV4) mode is selected.
2. Press the SEARCH UP/DOWN button to select FIELD DEFINE.
3. When the cursor is pointing to FIELD DEFINE, press the CH UP/DOWN
button to select the field that your country belongs to.
Each time you press the CH UP/DOWN button, the field is selected as follows.
NTSC -> CCIR1 -> CCIR2 -> FRANCE -> U.K/IRELAND -> CHINA -> OIRT
* See page 6 to find to what field your country belongs to.
FIELD DEFINE
This is to select TV mode or external Aux. Mode
1. Press the SEARCH UP/DOWN button to select MONITOR INPUT.
2. When the cursor is pointing to MONITOR INPUT.
Press the CH UP/DOWN button to select the video source.
Each time you press the CH UP/DOWN button, the source is selected as follows.
TV --> AV1 --> AV2
MONITOR INPUT (MJC-120R ONLY)
1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until TV (AV4) mode is selected.
Each time the MODE button is pressed, the mode is selected as follows.
RADIO --> AV1 --> AV2 --> AV3 (CD/VCD changer) --> AV4 (TV)
2. Press the MENU button to select FUNCTION menu.
The monitor shows following picture.

This is to select the color system for your TV or other video sources.
Before selecting the color system at COLOR SYSTEM on FUNCTION menu, select the
color system (PAL or NTSC) for the video source at PICTURE menu first on RADIO mode
first (MJC-110R ONLY). And then select color system again for the TV at COLOR
SYSTEM on FUNCTION menu.
1. Press the SEARCH UP/DOWN button to select COLOR SYSTEM
2. When the cursor is pointing to COLOR SYSTEM, press the CH UP/DOWN
button to select color system (PAL or NTSC or SECAM) for your country.
Each time you press the CH UP/DOWN button, The color system is selected as follows.
NTSC <--> PAL <--> SECAM

If the monitor displays in black & white color, confirm the color system again
for the video source (MJC-110R ONLY).
COLOR SYSTEM
NOTE

This is to select the sound system of the TV for your country.
1. Press the SEARCH UP/DOWN button to select SOUND SYSTEM.
2. When the cursor is pointing to SOUND SYSTEM, press the CH UP/DOWN
button to select the sound system of the TV for your country.
Each time you press this button, The sound system is selected as follows.

AUTO MEMORY
To automatically store the station into channel No C01-C78 for NTSC system or C01-C69
for PAL/SECAM SYSTEM.
1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until AV4 (TV) mode is seleted (MJC-110R ONLY).
2. Press the MENU button to select FUNCTION menu.
3. Press the AS/ATM button for more than 2 seconds.
The monitor shows following picture in order.

4. The auto memory is completed.
1. In case of PAL/SECAM system, Channel No on the screen on auto memory ends at C69.
2. When the memorized stations are detuned a little bit, press the CH UP/DOWN button a
again.
3. When the desired channels are not found on FRANCE mode at FIELD DEFINE,
execute auto memory again on CCIR1 or CCIR2 PAL BG mode after auto-searching
France channels.
4. To stop auto memory on auto memorizing, press the MENU button.
The On Screen Display will be disappeared. The channels that are searched before the
MENU button is pressed will be stored.
5. To select the CHANNEL in which memorized the stations by AUTO MEMORY.
Press the SEARCH UP/DOWN button or the CH UP/DOWN button or real channel
buttons (0-9) on the remote controller to select the desired channel directly.

PRECAUTIONS
Select the mounting location very carefully by referring to the following points
- Make sure that there is not a fuel tank, wiring or piping on the other side of mounting
surface.
- Make sure that the installation of the unit will not hinder the movement of the trunk lid or
interfere with the spare tire etc.
- Use only the supplied mounting kit for a safe and proper installation.
