Quick Start Guide
The Pyramid Wireless RF Transmitter controls BCD signals via auxiliary ports:
TimeTrax Sync™ Clock System is an engineered modular time system
able to synchronize wired, wireless or Power over Ethernet (POE)
devices using TimeTrax Sync™ software.
Wireless Synchronized Clock System
The Pyramid Wireless RF Transmitter uses 902-928MHz frequency-hopping
technology to wirelessly transmit synchronization signals from designated time
source to the following devices:

The wireless transmitters are able to pull time from the following sources:

A list of Internet NTP Primary Servers is available with TimeTrax Sync™ software
and updated periodically by Pyramid Time Systems.

WIRELESS RF TRANSMITTER INSTALLATION
Choose appropriate location to install 9T1W1 Wireless RF Transmitter.
Attach supplied antenna to top of 9T1WI Wireless RF Transmitter by rotating
in clockwise direction.¹
Place or mount transmitter so antenna is positioned vertically. This is re-
quired for optimum performance.Drill holes using template as a guide.
Connect Ethernet Port to computer or network. The transmitter will be
conrgurable from anywhere on local network.
If GPS Receiver is to be used as time source, install and connect to GPS port
of transmitter.
Connect power supply (supplied) to transmitter and to any standard wall
outlet.
TTSync software controls more than one Wireless RF Secondary Transmit-
ter (42337 and/or S9DSXOLAUB). TTSync software will discover the device &
assign global setting.

Install TimeTrax Sync™ Software into a networked computer or one that is
able to be directly connected to transmitter via ethernet
Installation should automatically run once the software is downloaded and you open
the le.The software will self-guide you through initial stages of installation.
After software is successfully installed, run program by double clicking
Pyramid icon on your desktop. The Pyramid TimeTrax™ Sync Login
Screen will appear. You are now ready to sign in.
Enter the following User Name and Password (password is case sensitive):
User Name: ADMIN Password: PTI
Click the LOGIN button. TimeTrax Sync™ security is independent of Windows
Security, therefore user accounts need to be created for all users.
For security purposes, users of TimeTrax Sync™ are required to Login
to use software every time. In addition, it is advisable to change the
password for ADMIN user account to prevent unauthorized use of the
software to manipulate transmitter conguration settings.
The software will automatically discover & list any Pyramid Ethernet
device on network.
“User Account Control”, press “YES”.

*Note
The rewall ports required are TCP Ports 3330, 3331, and 3333. The
direction of the rewall access is both inbound and outbound which is needed
for communication between clock to/from software.

TIME ZONE; DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME; TIME SOURCE; REFRESH INTERVAL AT
GLOBAL SETTINGS
NTP Time Source (MAX 3);Time Zone & Daylight Savings Time will automatically
default to Eastern Standard Time. To change global settings, follow these
steps:
Click on Edit Global Setting Tab.Press enter to conrm.
Click on arrow in Time Zone window to access drop down menu.
Select Time Zone.
Select Time Zone for automatic Daylight Savings Settings.
Click “Time Source”: NTP/NTP SERVERS or PC TIME.
Click “Refresh Interval”; Hr, Min, Sec.
Click “Save & Close”.

To change settings for individuals devices, follow these steps.
Click “EDIT” on device from discovery list.
Click on Custom Settings button.
Click on - NTP / NTP SERVERS or
-”PC TIME” or
-”GPS” (only if installed for Transmitter)
Click “DEVICE NAME” - set new one
Select “TIME ZONE” & “DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME”
Click “SAVE & CLOSE”

NAVIGATE TO BELL SCHEDULE
Open an App - click “CLOCK” (top right corner) - click “BELL SCHEDULE”
-”ADD BELL SCHEDULE” - “SAVE & CLOSE”
Click “EDIT” - “ADD BELL EVENT”
After each event set click “SAVE & CLOSE”
To upload Bell Schedule to Transmitter(s) click “SAVE BELL SCHEDULE” - “SELECT” (unit)
- “SAVE & CLOSE”
To go back to the list all clocks - click “CLOCK” again then click “HARDWARE MANAGER”

SAFETY
Antenna should be connected and oriented vertically before power is applied.
Using anything other than provided antenna is prohibited by FCC regulations.
There are no serviceable or adjustable parts inside the case of transmitter.
Opening transmitter case voids all warranties.
Any modications to transmitter, antenna, or stated operating conditions violates
FCC regulations and may be detrimental to health or safety.

Mount clock(s) using any of the following options:
(1) Direct Wall Mount: Mount to surface using template (included) &
(2) #8 screws. Insert screws into keyhole slots in back of clock.
(2) Security Mount: Using security bracket & template (included),
screw bracket directly to surface with (2) #8 screws. To hang
clock, align holes on back of clock with security bracket hooks.
(3) Dual Clock Wall or Ceiling Mount: Use optional brackets.

3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Pyramid warranties its Synchronized Clock Systems to the original user against
defective material or workmanship for a period of 3 years from date of purchase.
The manufacturer’s responsibility under this Warranty is limited to repair or
replacement of defective part or parts.
Pyramid reserves the right to determine whether parts failed because of defective
material, workmanship, or other causes.
Failure caused by accident, alteration, misuse or improper packaging of returned
unit is not covered by this Warranty.
Any repair to equipment other than by Pyramid voids the Warranty.
Users in territories other than USA, Canada, South America & Australia should
contact the Dealer from whom the unit was purchased.
The rights under this Warranty are limited to original user and may not be
transferred to subsequent users.
