TESTER
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This unique tester has been designed
specifically for testing the BreakGlass
detector.
By simulating the sound of breaking
glass the Breakglass Tester offers
a way of correcting the sensitivity
of the Breakglass detector ensuring
good detection and performance
at all times.

OPERATIONAL SWITCHES
OFF - Tester switched off.
NORMAL - Press the trigger when in normal mode to
Generate a loud breaking glass sound.
FLEX - In Flex mode, pressing the trigger arms the unit.
To create a flex condition thump the protected
glass in a controlled manner.
This will cause the Breakglass Tester to
generate a breaking glass sound.
TRIGGER - Creates glass break sound.
TEST PROCEDURE
Step 1 - Take the cover off the detector and place in test mode.
Step 2 - Set sensitivity to minimum.
Step 3 - Place the tester next to the window, which is to be protected.
Step 4 - Switch the tester into flex mode.
Step 5 - Arm the tester by pressing the trigger button.
Step 6 - Thump the glass lightly to simulate object hitting the window.
Step 7 - When the Tester simulates breaking glass check all the LED
indicators on the Breakglass detector.
The indicators will illuminate in the following order indicating
a good activation. (Green, Orange and Red)
Step 8 - Adjust the sensitivity as required to gain the best LED indication.
(After sensitivity adjustment re-test)
Step 9 - Replace cover on detector.

when in use.

NORMAL - Normal konumdayken yüksek sesli cam
kýrýlma sesi çýkartmak için Trigger (tetikleme) butonuna
basýnýz.
FLEX - Esneme (Flex)konumu, trigger butonu üniteyi
kurar.Esneme durumu oluþturmak için camýn orta
noktasýna keskin olmayan bir cisim ile kontrollü bir
þekilde vurunuz. Bu durumda test cihazý cam kýrýlma
sesi çýkarýr.
TRIGGER - Cam kýrýlma sesi çýkarýr.
TEST PROSEDÜRÜ
1 - Dedektörün kapaðýný çýkarýp test konumun geçiriniz.
2 - Set Hassasiyet ayarýný minimuma getiriniz.
3 - Place Test cihazýný korunacak camýn yakýnýna getiriniz.
4 - Test cihazýný Flex konumuna getiriniz.
5 - Trigger butonuna basarak test cihazýný kurunuz.
6- Cama kontrollü bir þekilde vurunuz.
7- Test cihazý cam kýrýlma sesi çýkarýrken, dedektördeki LED’leri gözlemleyiniz.
LED’ler aþaðýdaki sýra ile yanarak, iyi algýlamayý gösterecektir.
(Yeþil, Turuncu ve Kýrmýzý)
8- Hassasiyeti en iyi LED göstergesi elde edecek þekilde ayarlayýnýz.
(Hassasiyet ayarýndan sonra yeniden test ediniz)
9- Kapaðý tekrar yerine takýnýz.
10 -Not:Daha fazla bilgi için GLASSBREAK dedektörünün
kullaným kýlavuzuna baþ vurunuz.

FUNZIONI DEGLI INTERRUTTORI
OFF - Tester spento.
NORMAL - Premere il pulsante “Trigger” quando
l’interruttore è in questo modo per generare
un suono simile alla rottura del vetro.
FLEX - In modo Flex, premere il pulsante “Trigger” per
attivare il Tester. Battere leggermente sul vetro
da proteggere per creare la condizione “Flex”.
Ciò forzerà il Tester a generare un suono simile
alla rottura del vetro.
TRIGGER - Crea il suono simile alla rottura del vetro.
PROCEDURE PER IL TEST
Step 1 - Aprire il rivelatore e porlo nel modo Test tramite il ponticello Test.
Step 2 - Impostare la Sensibilità al Minimo.
Step 3 - Tenere il Tester vicino alla finestra da proteggere.
Step 4 - Portare l’interrutore del Tester in modo Flex.
Step 5 - Attivare il Tester premendo il pulsante Trigger.
Step 6 - Colpire leggermente il vetro per simulare un oggetto che urta la finestra.
Step 7 - Quando il Tester simula la rottura del vetro, controllare l’accensione di
tutti i LED indicatori sul rivelatore Breakglass.
I LED si accenderanno nel seguente ordine indicando una corretta
attivazione: Verde, Ambra e Rosso.
Step 8 - Regolare la sensibilità secondo le vostre necessità per raggiungere
una corretta accensione dei LED.
(Testare di nuovo il rivelatore dopo la regolazione della sensibilità)
Step 9 - Richiudere il rivelatore.
Step 10 - Leggere le Istruzioni del rivelatore Breakglass per
ulteriori informazioni.

Il Tester Breakglass produce dei suoni forti, tenerlo sempre lontano dall’orecchio durante l’uso.
