1. Read the Safety Instructions and Operating Instructions in this User Guide prior to using this
appliance.
2. The appliance should never be left unattended when the power cord is plugged into an
electrical outlet.
3. This product is not to be used by, on, or near children or by individuals with certain disabilities
or decreased sensation.
4. Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this User Guide.
5. Do not alter the appliance or use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
6. Do not use this appliance in countries with 220/240 volt electrical systems. Use only with
110/120 volt electrical systems. Do not operate with a voltage converter.

DANGER: KEEP AWAY FROM WATER.
The Q-Redew, as with most electrical appliance, is always electrically live when plugged
into an electrical outlet, even when the appliance’s indicator light is off.
The Q-Redew should be kept away from water. Only the removable, refillable water
reservoir should come in contact with water.
DANGER:To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Always unplug this appliance immediately after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into or submerge into water or other liquid.
5. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water or other liquid. Unplug the appliance at
the electrical outlet immediately. Do not reach into the water.

8. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has
been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water. Do not try to repair appliance. Incorrect reassembly or
repair could cause a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when the appliance is used. Return
the appliance to a service center for examination and repair. Contact Q-Redew Products for detailed
return instructions. Refer also to the Q-Redew Products Warranty Policy in this User Guide.
9. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
10. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
11. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this can damage the cord.
12. Never block the vapor outlet openings of the appliance. Keep the vapor openings free of lint, hair, dirt,
and other matter. Do not place appliance on a soft surface such as a pillow, bed, or couch, i.e. where
the outlet openings may be blocked. Never drop or insert any object into any opening in the appliance.
13. Never use the appliance while sleeping.
14. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products or other flammable products are being
used or where oxygen is being administered.
15. Unplug this appliance before removing and filling the reservoir. Fill reservoir with tap or distilled water
only.
16. Do not use appliance before filling the reservoir with water.
17. Do not use additives in water placed in the reservoir.
18. Do not direct vapor towards eyes or other heat sensitive areas.
19. While emitting steam, this appliance may cause burns if it is used too close to the skin, scalp, or eyes,
or if it is used incorrectly. Always test appliance with each use by holding the vapor wand away from the
body for a test of the vapor velocity and heat, and to discharge any air that may have accumulated in
the appliance between uses. Never place the appliance vapor outlets directly on skin.
20. To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitted from vapor outlet holes, test the appliance before
each use by holding it away from body and operating the trigger.
21. To avoid discomfort, skin irritation, or burns do not hold the appliance in one position in the hair. Keep
the unit moving though the hair to avoid discomfort from prolonged exposure to heated vapor.
22. The Q-Redew vapor wand is intended to be used on hair only. Do not place on scalp. Placing the
appliance on the scalp may cause burns.
23. Never place skin close to vapor wand in one position as this may cause scalding. Keep moving the
appliance throughout the hair.
24. Do not touch the vapor outlets directly to skin to avoid scalding.
25. Do not point the appliance or direct vapor in the direction of another person.
26. Grasp plug when plugging in or unplugging the appliance from an electrical outlet. Never pull on the
cord.
27. Do not handle the power cord with wet hands. Grasp the power cord only with dry hands.
28. All warranty servicing of this product must be made by Q-Redew Products. No attempts to should be
made by you the purchaser or any third parties to open the product housing.

The Q-Redew appliance is to be used solely for the styling of hair, and is intended to be used on dry (not
wet) hair. The appliance should be used only in accordance with the following Operating Instructions:
Step 1: Fill the reservoir
WARNING:
Never place the Q-Redew unit - with the exception of the removable reservoir - near
water. See Important Safety Instructions for additional warnings regarding electrocution risk.
1. Make sure the Q-Redew appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove reservoir from the Q-Redew appliance with finger.
3. Flip the reservoir. Open rubber inlet cover.
4. Fill the reservoir with water. Consistency of the Q-Redew vapor emission will be best if the reservoir
water level is maintained above the Minimum Fill Line. Use only water in the reservoir. Any additives
placed in the reservoir might damage your Q-Redew.
5. Replace rubber inlet cover.
6. Replace reservoir into unit by lining up reservoir into slot, and click into place.

Step 2: Plug Q-Redew unit into electrical outlet.
This appliance has a polarized plug, with one plug blade larger than the other. The plug will fit only
one way into a polarized electrical outlet. This is for safety purposes. If the plug does not fit fully
into the electrical outlet, flip the plug over and try again. If it still does not fit, consult a licensed
electrician for inspection of the electrical outlet. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
Caution! : Never plug in the Q-Redew appliance into an electrical outlet if it is or has been in
contact with or is submerged in water. See Important Safety Instructions included in this User Guide
for additional warnings regarding electrocution risk.
Step 3: Wait momentarily for appliance to warm up.
Indicator Light will blink while the appliance is warming up. When the Indicator Light stops blinking the
appliance is ready for use.
NOTICE: Automatic Shut-Off feature: Do not leave your plugged in appliance unattended. However, if you do
not use your appliance within 5 minutes the unit will switch to inactive mode. The Indicator Light will go dark,
indicating the product has gone inactive.
NOTICE: Restarting the Plugged-in Unit: Applying pressure to the trigger will start the warming period again.

Step 4: Test the Q-Redew appliance before using.
Before applying warm mist to hair, always test the appliance by pointing it away from your body and
depressing the trigger. This will familiarize you with the warm mist flow, and will release any air or
condensation that may have accumulated between uses.

CAUTION:
For your comfort during use:
- Do not place prongs directly on scalp or skin. This will prevent discomfort, skin irritation, or burns.
- Do not direct the appliance towards eyes or other sensitive areas.
- Always Keep the Q-Redew appliance moving. To avoid discomfort, skin irritation, or burns,
do not hold pointed in one place for an extended period of time.
Step 5: Pull trigger to emit warm vapor into dry (not wet) hair to naturally
rejuvenate, enhance, and reshape curls and waves.
Depressing the trigger will result in the release of vapor from the appliance. Releasing the trigger will
cease the emission of vapor. You might experience a slight delay in the vapor cessation, as
accumulated vapor clears itself from the appliance.
Individual preferences will determine the amount of warm vapor applied to the hair, and the specific
locations within the hair.
The prongs will assist in lifting and separating hair
to help disperse vapor throughout the target area.
Hair clips or rollers may be used to shape the hair
and assist in targeting the areas to which the warm
vapor is applied.
The Q-Redew appliance converts water to warm vapor.
A natural occurrence in this process is occasional
condensation and small water drips from the product.
This should be expected during normal use, and is not
an indication that anything is wrong or broken with your -Redew.

Step 6: Unplug appliance from outlet following use.
Always pull the plug, not the cord, to unplug the product. The indicator light will go dark, indicating
the power is off.
Note: Automatic Shut-Off Feature: Never leave the plugged-in appliance unattended. However, for
your safety, the vapor wand will switch to inactive mode if not used for 5 minutes. The indicator light
will go dark, indicating the power is off (and the heater is no longer heating). The product is still live
when the automatic shutoff has engaged. You must unplug the product to assure no electric current is
running through the appliance.

Possible Solutions
1. Make sure appliance is plugged in.
2. Make sure you are fully depressing trigger.
1. Make sure the reservoir contains water.
2. Hold unit away from body and eyes and continuously depress
trigger to release air.
3. Make sure the reservoir is firmly inserted into the Q-Redew unit.
1. Condensation might occasionally build within the appliance. As a
result, water may occasionally drip out of the vapor outlets between
product uses.
1. Make sure the Rubber Inlet Cover is firmly engaged.
2. Make sure reservoir is firmly inserted into Q-Redew unit.
3. Empty reservoir water between uses if leakage persists.
Storage: When not in use, unplug and store your Q-Redew unit in a cool, dry location. Do not wrap
cord around the Q-Redew unit. If the cord becomes twisted due to use, periodically straighten the cord.
Store the appliance in a location where it cannot be used unsupervised by children. Water may remain
in the reservoir while it is not in use. To avoid any chance of occasional water leakage, you may want
to drain the reservoir between uses.
Maintenance:This appliance requires minimal maintenance to ensure best performance. If necesary,
clean the exterior with a soft cloth and mild soap or surface cleaning solution.
Repair: Do not try to repair appliance. The appliance has no user-serviceable parts. Incorrect
reassembly or repair could cause risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when the appliance is
used. Refer to the Troubleshooting Suggestions and the Q-Redew Warranty Policy page of this User
Guide for instructions if you feel your appliance is not working correctly.

Q-Redew Products Warranty Policy
Your Q-Redew appliance is warranted by Q-Redew Products for the original retail purchaser to be free from
defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 90 days from the date
shown on purchaser’s receipt. During this period, Q-Redew Products will repair a defective product or part
without charges to you, and will ship you a unit free of defects. You must deliver the entire product to Q-Redew
Products. You, as the purchaser, pay for all transportation and insurance charges for the entire product to
Q-Redew Products. Q-Redew Products will pay for transportation and insurance charges for the shipment to you
of the repaired appliance.
The above warranties are subject to the following conditions:
1. You must retain your bill of sale or provide other proof of purchase, and provide a copy this proof
of purchase with the returned appliance.
2. You must notify Q-Redew Products within thirty (30) days after you discover a defective product
or part, using the Warranty Return form provided (available at www.qredew.com).
3. All warranty servicing of this product must be made by Q-Redew Products. No attempts to should
be made by you the purchaser or any third parties to open the product housing.
4. Warranties extend only to defects in materials or workmanship as limited above and do not
extend to any product or parts which have been lost or discarded by you or to damage to products
or parts caused by misuse, accident, improper installation, or use in violation of instructions
furnished by us, or to units which have been altered or modified without authorization of Q-Redew
Products.
5. You must complete and detach the Warranty Return Form (download at www.qredew.com ) and
include it with your return shipment.

This warranty covers product-related defective materials and/or workmanship only.
There is no other express warranty. Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose, are limited to 90 days from purchase, or to the extent permitted by law any and all implied
warranties are excluded . Liability for incidental or consequential damages are excluded to extent exclusion is
permitted by law. Some states or countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and
some states or countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages , so
the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and
you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country.
We welcome warranty repair and apologize to you for any inconvenience. Most warranty repairs are handled
routinely, but some requests for warranty service may not be appropriate. For example, warranty coverage
would not apply in cases resulting from misuse, or use that is not in accordance with the Q-Redew User Guide.
In addition, the warranty is void if the product’s date code or any other product markings have been altered, if
anything but water has been placed in the reservoir, or if the product has been altered or modified.
