1. Before using this device, read the instructions in this manual.
2. Please keep the manual carefully for future reference.
3. Unplug the device from the power outlet before cleaning. Do not use
liquid cleaners or Aerosol cleaners. Use a damp or wet cloth to clean.
Please use LCD screen detergent for cleaning if it is still dirty.
4. Do not use parts not recommended by the manufacturer, otherwise it
may cause a hazard.
5. When unplugging the power cord from the monitor or adapter, please
hold the plug with your hand, do not pull the cord directly.
6. Do not place any object on the power cord, Do not trample it either.
7. Do not use the device near water sources, e.g. bathtub, basin, kitchen
sink or washing machine. Do not place the device on a wet oor, or near
a swimming pool, etc. Do not touch the screen with your ngers or other
hard objects.
8. Slots and openings on the housing and its back or bottom are provided
for ventilation. To ensure reliable operation of the components and to
protect them from overheating, these openings should not be blocked or
covered placing the device on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface.
The device should never be placed near or over a radiator or heater and
should not be placed in a built-in installation unless proper ventilation is
provided.
9. Make sure the device is at least 5 cm away from the wall or
surrounding objects when it is in use.
10. The power supply must respond to that stated on the rating plate.
If you have any questions about the power supply, please refer to the
dealer or local power supply provider.
11. As a safeguard measure, the monitor or adapter is equipped with a
power cord with three-terminal plug, the third terminal is grounded, if the
plug cannot be inserted into the outlet, please contact an electric
technician to replace the original outlet while keeping the safeguard
measure in eect.
12. Ensure that the power socket and cord in use are able to take the
sum of the rated currency of all the products.
13. Do not put the device at the place where user is subject to
malfunction.
14. Observe all the warnings and instructions described in the manual.
15. Do not overload the power outlet or use any extension cord,
otherwise it may cause re or electric shock.

16. Do not attempt to repair this device yourself since opening or
removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards.
Refer servicing to qualied service personnel.
17. Unplug this monitor or AC adaptor from the wall outlet and refer
servicing to qualied service personnel under the following conditions:
a. When the power cord or plug is damaged or worn.
b. If the device has been dropped or its housing has been damaged.
c. When the performance of the device deteriorates distinctly.
18. The power cord is the main feature to turn on/o the device; unplug it
if the device is not used for a long period of time.
19. Store the device at a place of good ventilation; avoid strong sunlight,
high temperature or humidity.
20. Store the device at a place at -20°C - 55°C room temperature.
Otherwise, it may cause permanent damage.

Basic operation
Press MENU button to show the follow menu. Press MENU button
again to enter into COLOR mode, press UP/DOWN button to
choose the item, and press MENU button to conrm. You can
press UP/DOWN button to adjust.

Setup of the device
TouchKit is software, which contains of the touch panel controllers for
the specied communication connectors,RS232, PS/2 and USB, and
another
• Conguration support
The calibration and draw test of touch panel are done by this utility.
Besides, users can add or new RS-232 touch panel device.
Follow these steps to install TouchKit.
1.Put the TouchKit CD to CD-ROM.
2.Open the Win2000_XP directory.
3.Double click the Setup.exe, then windows starts to run the
installation
4.Just click [Next>] button to continue installation.
5.Check the box if PS/2 touch controller is to be installed. The
default setting is unchecked. Then Press [Next>] to continue
installation.

6.Choose the setup type that best suits your needs. There is a
TouchKit accessory utility for choosing, Auto 4Pts Calibration
Utility. Users can install the utility they want by checking the box.
Then Press [Next>] to continue installation.
7.Please select 4 points calibration mode when system starts.
Then Press <Next> to continue installation.

8.To choose your special software installation path, please press
“Browse” button.
9.Select the appropriate folder where setup les will be installed.
Then press [Next>] to continue installation.

10.During installation, the setup program will scan Com port for
Rs232 TouchKit controller. Once the controller was scanned, the
setup program will display a dialog as shown below.
11. After TouchKit setup is complete, the USB device installation
will appear automatically as soon as it is plugged into the
computer. Then users will see the application program window.

12. Users can check the situation of controllers in Device Manager.
If there are three property pages in TouchKit and are generally set
up correctly, there will be messages as shown below.

Conguration Utility
There are three property pages in TouchKit utility, General, Monitor
and About . Each property page contains dierent functions to do
adjustments. Therefore, users can easily manage all the TouchKit
controllers through TouchKit Utility.
General property page contains the functions of devices Add /
Remove Draw Test and 4 Points Calibration / Clear Calibration /
Linearization.

< 4 Point Calibration >
Correct 4 point lacation on screen with the panel. Press [4 points
Calibration] , screen displays as follows.
< Draw Test > Test the drawing position related to the display
screen on panel. Click on the [Draw Test] button. There will be a
squared blue display

In drawing test window, users can click [Clear] button to clear the
window. Also, users can click [Quit] or press mouse right button to
quit from the drawing test. In drawing test window, users can verify
the panel linearity, calibration capability, and drawing line quality.
