electric ovens.
1. Place the refrigerator in a well ventilated room on a dry, stable and level surface, away from
direct sunlight and other heat sources.
2. Ensure sufcient air circulation at the rear of the appliance. Do not place the appliance against
a wall to avoid noise caused by vibration. Make sure that the air can still circulate freely
around the appliance. Insufcient ventilation would result in malfunction and increased energy
consumption. Leave a space of at least 10 cm between the refrigerator and the wall, and at
least 30 cm between the top of the refrigerator and the ceiling.
3. Leave enough space to access and open the door easily: ≥ 990 x 1025 mm (g. ). If

FREN
different combinations.
Always slide one of the full size glass storage shelves into the lowest set of guides, above the fruit
and vegetable containers.
6.5. Keeping food in the appliance
■ Cooked meats/shes should always be stored on a shelf above raw meats/shes to avoid
bacterial transfer. Keep raw meats/shes in a container which is large enough to collect juices
and cover it properly. Place the container on the lowest shelf.
■ Leave space around your food, to allow air to circulate inside the appliance. Ensure all parts
of the appliance are kept cool.
■ To prevent transfer of avours and drying out, pack or cover the food separately. Fruit and

and other food consumed in the short term.
■ Cooking foods shall not be put in the refrigerating chamber until cooled to room temperature.
■ Foods are recommended to be sealed up before putting into the refrigerator.
■ The glass shelves can be adjusted up or down for a proper storage space and easy use.
Freezing Chamber
■ The low temperature freezing chamber may keep food fresh for a longer time and it is
mainly used to store frozen foods and making ice.
■ The freezing chamber is suitable for storage of meat, sh, rice balls and other foods not to
be consumed in short term.
■ Chunks of meat are preferably to be divided into small pieces for easy access. Please be
noted food shall be consumed with the shelf time.
■ Note: Storage of too much food during operating after the initial connection to power may
adversely affect the freezing effect of the refrigerator. Foods stored shall not block the air
outlet; or otherwise the freezing effect will also be adversely affected.
6.6. Noise inside the appliance
You may notice that your appliance makes some unusual noises. Most of these are perfectly normal.
These noises are caused by the circulation of the refrigerant liquid in the cooling system. This is not

6.7. Changing the luminary
The luminary shall be replaced by professionals only.

FREN 8. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Solution
No operation. ■ Check whether the appliance is plugged in and connected to
power.
■ Low voltage.
■ Failure power or tripping circuit.
Odour. ■ Odorous foods should closely wrapped.
■ Check whether foods are rotten.
■ Check whether the interior shall be cleaned.
Long-term operation
of compressor.
■ The appliance operates for longer time in summer when the
ambient temperature is higher.
■ Do not put too much food in the appliance at one time.
■ Do not put foods until they are cooled.
■ Frequent opening of refrigerator door.
Illuminating light
remains off.
■ Check whether the refrigerator is connected to power.
■ Check whether the illuminating light is damaged.
The refrigerator door
cannot be properly
closed.
■ The freezer door is stuck by food packages.
■ Too much food inside the appliance.
■ Tilt the refrigerator by a few degrees.
Loud noises. ■ Check whether the food is levelled and whether the appliance is
balanced.
■ Check whether the refrigerator accessories are properly inserted.
■ The refrigerator enclosure may emit heat during operation, especially in summer. This is
caused by the condenser, and it is a normal phenomenon.
■ Condensation phenomenon will be detected on the exterior surface and door seals of the
freezer when the ambient humidity is large. This is normal. Wipe off condensation with a dry
towel.
9. TIPS FOR ENERGY SAVING
■ Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is wet and hot. Once you open
the door, close it as soon as possible.
■ Every now and then check if the appliance is sufciently ventilated (adequate air circulation
behind the appliance).
■ In normal climatic conditions, arrange the thermostat at the middle setting.
■ Before loading the appliance with packages of fresh food, make sure they are cooled to
ambient temperature.
■ Ice and frost layer increases energy consumption, so clean the appliance as soon as the layer
is 3 to 5 mm thick.
■ Keep the rear of the appliance free from dust.
■ The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing
appliances or heating ducts, and out of the direct sunlight.
■ Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing in the appliance. Overloading the
appliance forces the compressor to run longer. Foods that freeze too slowly may lose quality,
or spoil.
■ Wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the appliance. This cuts
down on frost build-up inside the appliance.
■ Do not line the appliance’s storage bin with aluminium foil, wax paper, or paper towelling.
Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efcient.

1515
EN
■ Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as many
items as needed at one time. Close the door as soon as possible.
