This Bluetooth headset can only be used with
compatible devices that support Bluetooth wireless
technology. This headset will allow you to make
calls, receive calls and stream music through the
device.
Please read this user manual carefully before
using the headset. Also read your device’s user
manual regarding the Bluetooth function, pay close
attention to important safety and maintenance
information.
Note: Please keep the headset away from children.

Charging Your Headset
1. Prior to using the headset for the rst time or after
no use for a extended period of time, please fully
charge the battery.
2. Approximately 2 hours are required to fully charge
the headset.
3. The indicator light turns red while being charged,
and will turn blue automatically after being fully
charged.
4. When the headset battery is running low, the
indicator light will ash red (the headset will
switch off automatically when the battery is
drained). Please charge the headset in time to

prolong the battery’s useful life (Charging indication
will be delayed for a few minutes if the headset has
not been used for an extended period of time or the
battery is drained).
Note: Check that the charging cable is connected to
the headset.
Turning on Headset
In OFF MODE, press and hold MFB for 2 seconds, until
you hear “Power on”, the indicator light turns blue for
1 second, then the headset will enter into ON MODE.
The headset will be connected automatically. When

the headset is not connected to any other Bluetooth
devices and the paring list is empty, the headset will
enter into pairing mode automatically)
Turning off Headset
In ON MODE (except call state), press and hold
MFB for 3 seconds, until you hear “Power off”.The
indicator light will turn red for 1 second, then the
headset will enter into OFF MODE.
Note: The headset will automatically turn itself off if
it is not connected to any device after 20 minutes.

Pairing Your Headset with a Bluetooth Device
1. Ensure the headset is off and it is within 1 meter
(3 feet) from your device to activate the Bluetooth
function on the phone.
2. Press and hold MFB until the indicator light
ashes blue and red alternately and enters into
pairing mode. You will hear “pairing” from the
headset. Search Bluetooth devices (see the user
guide of your phone for instructions).
3. Select headset “MAGsmart Metallic” from the
devices list.
4. Enter pairing code “0000”, press conrm and you

will hear “paired” and “your phone is connected”.
5. If the pairing cannot be completed within
5 minutes after the PAIRING MODE has been
activated, the headset will enter into the
STANDBY MODE. Please repeat above steps to
pair again).
6. For best results, ensure there is no obstruction
between your headset and the Bluetooth device
and they are within the appropriate range.
7. After successful pairing, anytime the headset
is powered on, the two paired devices will
automatically connect when within the given

operation range (See the user guide of your
phone for additional instructions).
Answering A Call
You can answer an incoming call in the following
ways:
Method 1: Press MFB once.
Method 2: When magnets are together, seperate the
earphones, answer.
Method 3: Answer the call from your phone
Note: If a call comes in when playing music, it is
suggested to use MFB (Method 1) to answer the
call.

Ending A Call
You can end a call in any of the following ways.
Method 1: Press MFB once.
Method 2: Place the magnetic ends of earphones
together
Method 3: End the call with your phone.
Note: If using the magnetic functions the answer
and end a call, please wait 3 seconds before the
next operation.
Rejecting A Call
Press and hold MFB for 2 seconds to reject the call.

Voice Dialing
In PAIRED MODE, press and hold volume V- button,
and say the voice tag as soon as you hear the short
beep. (Ensure your phone supports voice dialing
function, and you have recorded the voice tag into
your phone. See the user guide of your phone for
instructions).
Call Waiting
During an existing conversation, you can answer an
incoming call the following ways:
1. Click MFB once to hold the current call and
answer the incoming call.

2. Click MFB to transfer from one call to another.
3. Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds to hang
up the current call and answer the other one.
Note: All of the above functions requires that the
Bluetooth device supports Bluetooth version V1.5
or higher and your service provider supports call-
waiting functionality.
Last Number Redialing
Press MFB TWICE to redial the last phone number
(when your headset is connected to one device).
Press MFB TWICE to redial the last phone number

of the rst phone, press V+ button for 2 seconds
then you can redial the last phone number of the
second phone (When your headset is connected to
two devices).
Mute
During a call, press and hold “V+” for 3 seconds.
The headset will enter into MUTE MODE. In MUTE
MODE, the speaker will beep twice every 10
seconds. Press and hold “V+” for 3 seconds to
cancel MUTE MODE.

Adjusting Volume
When on a call or playing music, shortly press V+
or V- once to adjust the volume. You will be hear a
beep when the headset has reached the maximum
or minimum volume level.
Forward/Backward
Press and hold “V+” or “V-” for 2 seconds to
forward to the next song or to play the previous
song.
Music Pause/Play
Method 1: Press MFB once to PLAY music (paired

and in standby mode), press MFB again to PAUSE
music.
Method 2: Place the magnetic ends of earphones
together to pause the music. Separate the magnetic
earphone to play/resume music.
Note 1: If using the magnetic functions to control
music, for Android devices, please wait 3 seconds
before the next operation; for iOS devices, please
wait 10 seconds before the next operation.

Note 2: To answer a call while playing music, it
is recommended to use the MFB to answer the
call. When pausing music to answer a call, it is not
recommended to use the magnetic function to end
the call. If you use the magnetic function to end the
call, music will resume playing.
Delete Pairing
When the headset is on and not connected to any
device, press and hold “V+” and “V-”, until the red
and blue lights ash twice at the same time. The
pairing record on the headset will be deleted. When
all the pairing records are deleted, after the headset

is powered off and on again, it will enter pairing
mode automatically.
Two-link Function
This function allows “MAGsmart Metallic” Bluetooth
headset to connect to 2 Bluetooth devices at the

same time. When device A and device B are not
currently paired, the two link operation is as follows:
a) Pairing Device A: With headset in off mode,
press and hold MFB until indicator light ashes
red and blue alternately. Using device A, search
the Bluetooth device for “MAGsmart Metallic”,
enter pairing code “0000” and conrm, after
pairing the headset with phone A, and the
headset will enter into standby mode.
b) Turn off the Bluetooth function on device A
or power off A. The headset will go back to no

connection status.
c) Pairing Device B: With the headset in off mode,
press and hold MFB until indicator light ashes
red and blue alternately, using device B search
for the Bluetooth device “MAGsmart Metallic”.
Enter pairing code “0000”. After pairing with
device B, the headset will enter into standby
mode.
d) Connecting device A and B at the same time:
Note: The two device mentioned will be called
device A and B.
