THANK YOU
USER TIPS
Congratulations on your purchase of the versatile QUILO® AVIANCE™.
With 4 functions in 1 device, AVIANCE™ helps to provide comfort all year long:
• Air purifier – Removes up to 99.5%* of airborne particles up to 0.3* microns. Helps
minimize the spread of allergens and bacteria in the air, such as pollen, smog, and
viruses.
• Fan - Circulates the room air and provides ventilation.
• Evaporative Cooler - Transforms warm, dry air into moist, cool air during warmer
months. See below for a detailed description of evaporative cooling.
• Humidifier - Helps counteract static air and irritating dryness during autumns and
winters.
What is Evaporative Cooling?
QUILO® AVIANCE™ Evaporative Cooler is built to maximize energy efficiency and keep
energy costs low. Warm air is drawn into the cooler and enters the Honeycomb Cooling
Media. Water pumped from the water tank pours over the Honeycomb Cooling Media. As
the warm air passes through the Honeycomb Cooling Media, the water absorbs the heat,
naturally cooling and humidifying the air. A fan propels the cooled air out into the room. This
no-compressor system cools naturally, efficiently, and inexpensively.
Water
The recommended maximum relative humidity level is 60%* or less, which allows a noticeable
temperature decrease. The temperature will be lower in drier climates because higher
evaporation occurs when the humidity is low.
NOTE
When the product is used for the first time the Honeycomb Cooling Media will have an odor
which will dissipate in a few hours or so of initial use.

PURIFICATION SYSTEM
1: Efficient HEPA Filter
Removes up to 99.5%* of airborne particles up to 0.3* microns. Helps minimize the spread of
allergens and bacteria in the air, such as pollen, smog, and viruses.
2: Activated Carbon Filter
Removing volatile organic compounds, such as secondhand smoke and kinds of polluting
gases.
3: UV light sanitization
Effectively kills up to 99.96%* of common bacteria and viruses by inducing changes in their
DNA.

SET UP
To maximize efficiency, position the QUILO® AVIANCE™ according to the following guidelines:
Cooling
For the maximum cooling effect, place the unit in front of an open door or window. Ensure
that there is adequate cross-ventilation in the room by leaving a door or window open
opposite the cooler.
QUILO® AVIANCE™ must be kept level and there must be sufficient water in the tank. Doors
and windows should be opened to allow free airflow. The QUILO® AVIANCE™ works best when
placed near an open window, so that outside air is drawn into the unit, circulates in the room,
then exits via the door. The maximum cooling effect is felt when a person is near the flow of
air coming out of the unit.
Humidification
The QUILO® AVIANCE™ produces moist air through the evaporative cooling process and can
be used to humidify dry air. When the device is to be used for humidification, it must be
ensured that the windows and doors are closed.
Air Purification
To ensure that your room air is purified properly on both sides of the cycle, please make sure
that the gap between the air inlet and the wall is at least 50 cm and the gap to the air outlet
is at least 30 cm. Please keep the device at least 1 meter away from television, radio, etc.
Please do not insert the power plug in the same socket as the television, radio, and other
electrical devices to avoid any electrical interference on the other devices.
Keeping the device placed at the same spot for a long time may result in the walls near the
device getting dirty.
To ensure that the device has adequate ventilation and works with maximum efficiency,
please keep it away from anything that might cause interference with the air inlet or outlet.

• The Carbon Dust Filter#and one of cartridge are located inside the Rear Grill. See Figure 1
for instructions on how to remove them from the unit for cleaning and maintenance.
• Do not run the unit in Cool & Humidity mode with stale water in the tank. You must empty
the water tank and refill it with fresh water, especially if the tank has not been cleaned in
a long time.
• The cleaning frequency for the Honeycomb & humidifier media depends on local air and
water conditions. In areas where the mineral content of water is high, mineral deposits
may build up on the Honeycomb Cooling Media & humidifer filter and restrict the
performance. Draining the water tank and refilling it with fresh water at least once a week
will help reduce mineral deposits. If mineral deposits remain on the Honeycomb Cooling
Media & humidifer filter, the media should be removed and washed under fresh water. The
media should be cleaned every two months or sooner, depending on your needs.
• For best results allow the Honeycomb Cooling Media & humidifer filter to dry after each
use by turning off the cool function 15 minutes before turning the unit off.
