start up and carefully keep this user instruction so as to
have this information on hand whenever it is needed.

• This unit is not waterproof. Don’t expose this product
to rain or moisture.
• Lay this equipment on a reliable at surface before
setting it up.
If any of the following situation arises, get the
equipment checked by the service technician:
-The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
-The equipment has been dropped and damaged.
-The equipment shows signs of breakage.
- Do not place the basic unit in a damp room at a
distance of less than 1.5m away from a water source.
• Don’t disassemble this scale. This scale doesn’t contain
any parts that can be repaired by the user.
• Use the scale only for its intended purpose.
• Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth or with an
anti-static cloth. Never use cleaning agents or abrasive
solvents.
Installing battery
1. Press down and lift the battery cover to open the
battery compartment.
2. Install or replace one “CR2032” battery in the battery
compartment according to the indications inside the
compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover by clicking in the bottom
hooks rst, and then push in the top end of the
battery cover.
4. Remove battery when unit is not in use for extended
periods of time.
1. Press the ON/OFF/TARE key to power on, the scale will
appear zero “0.000” on the display after 2 seconds.
2. Put the baby on the weighing surface gently and
carefully.
3. Under the measurement, the word "HOLD" is ashing
on the display and stops ashing when measurement
is completed.
Caution
1. Battery is hazardous waste . Do not dispose it together
with the household garbage.
2. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Battery or
damage from old battery is not covered by warranty.
3. Use exclusively brand battery. Always replace with
new battery.
LCD display ON/OFF/TAREHALT
You need to replace the battery when
1. low battery icon appears on display.
2. the ON/OFF/TARE key is pressed and nothing
appears on display.
1. This scale has a “HALT” function for recording weight
with struggling baby .
2. The automatic halt function can establish the baby’s
weight on the display as soon as he/she is still enough
to achieve an exact measurement value.
3. As soon as the baby’s weight is established on the
display, the word “HOLD” stops ashing and the
measured weight will be displayed for 20 seconds.
4. The scale will be switched off automatically.
1. If the baby is struggling or moving around vigorously,
his/her weight cannot be recorded.
2. Press “HALT” button and the word “HOLD” will stop
ashing within 3 seconds and the measured weight
will be displayed for 20 seconds
1. If you use a towel to lay the baby on, it should be
placed on the weighing surface before switching on.
2. If you forgot to do so, power on the scale, when it is
ready to measure, place the towel on the weighting
surface, and then press “ON/OFF/TARE” button to
eliminate the weight of the towel.
3. Once you have pressed “ON/OFF/TARE” button, the
word “TARE” will be shown on the display. (Note:
If you remove the towel after press “ON/OFF/TARE”
button, the scale will display a negative reading.)
4. To reset the scale to zero “0.000”, press the “ON/OFF/
TARE” button after the word “HOLD” has stopped
ashing.
Click the unit key in the bottom side of the scale to
change the unit between “kg”, “lb” and “oz” if
necessary.
