1. Unauthorized disassemble may cause the leakage problem, and damages on OPSS. Such
type of safety issues is not responded to QYSEA’s legal liability. In addition, the warranty
will not valid for unauthorized disassembled products.
2. ROV shall be OFF before plug in power outlet.
3. Check the tether, connecters and seals after every dive.
4. The tether external surface shall contact well. If you find any damages, such as,
scratches, peel off or split, stop using damaged tether and contact your local
authorized service center or dealer for repair or replacing.
5. All connectors shall be clean and dry in all time to avoid shortages, and corrosions.
6. All seals and O-rings shall be contact and clean in all time, otherwise, replace it ASAP.
7. Keep the OPSS-PM OFF when deploy and retrieve.
8. It is NOT recommended to use OPSS when diver is operating underwater.
9. Do NOT touching OPSS’s tether and E-Tank underwater.

11.No heavy objects left on OPSS-PM.
12.Do NOT put OPSS-PM inside water or wet floors, and avoid wave splashes.

Preparation Check List
1. Check and count all parts of OPSS
2. Check the connectors, socket and plug shall be dry and clean, and not damages
3. Check the outdoor power bank or the fuel level of generator
4. Check the remote controller and ROV
5. Check the cell phone, tablet, and laptop’s battery
Note, run a test before dive (Power ON less than 3min).

1. Cable connection on OPSS-PM
1.1. Plug AC output on OPSS-PM (another end to spool’s reel)
1.2. Plug AC input on OPSS-PM (another end to AC Scoket)

2. Secure the E-Tank Mount on ROV
2.1. Unfasten and take off just one side of fixing screws. The stern side has 4 screws,
and the 2 screws in bow side. Unfasten either side will work similar results.
2.2. Position E-Tank Mount on ROV (the E-Tank Mount shall LOCK on the middle
thrusters and attach against the back of ROV)

3.1. PULL out, and ROTATE 45°the Dowel Pin on E-Tank Mount

3.2. SLID the E-Tank on E-Tank Mount, then rotate Dowel Pin to lock E-Tank on Mount

4.3. PLUG the ROV plug (Black color) in ROV tether connector and FASTEN the cap on
ROV plug.

6. Plug to the AC socket (outdoor power bank or generator)

1. Power OFF steps,
1.1. OPSS-PM OFF
1.2. Unplug from AC power socket
1.3. RC Power OFF
2. Disconnect the connectors and fasten the protective caps. Wipe out the water residues if
necessary.
3. Unlock the E-tank from mount (the E-tank Mount is not necessary to take off for day-to-day
use scenario)
4. Organize and put all parts back to protective box.*
Note:
1. Each part has its own slot, try a different direct if you facing any
difficulties when putting parts back to original position. Do NOT squeeze
or tear when packing.
2. Pay extra attention on bending or pressing on tether.
Packing After Dive

1. Check each connector and plug, and get rid of the water or dust. Fasten the protective cap
for next dive.
2. Check the seals and O-rings, replacing if it has been wearied or damaged.
3. Check the tether surface, make sure the tether jacket in good condition.
4. Rinse and soak the E-Tank in fresh water after dive, especially sea water operation.
5. Check the ON/OFF button on OPSS-PM, get rid of the dust or sand if necessary.
Contact our authorized service center or authorized dealer if you need help on repair or
replacing.
Maintenance
Note:
1. Do NOT rinse or wash the OPSS Spool with water.
2. Use a towel to clean and wipe the OPSS Spool is
recommended.
