INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. Disconnect the negative battery ter inal (Before carrying out
any electrical work on your vehicle including installing any
electronic device the battery negative ter inal should always
be disconnected)
NOTE - The negative battery ter inal should re ain
disconnected till the installation is co plete.
2. Decide on a location inside the passenger cabin for the
installation of the USER INTERFACE (Touch Screen) and
start routing the provided LINK cable fro there towards the
engine co part ent.
NOTE - While routing any wiring through the firewall of the
vehicle please ensure it is routed through a gro et in the

firewall and should not be in direct contact with any etal
edge as it ay cause da age to the wires and in turn short
the device.
3. Decide on a location inside the engine co part ent for the
HUB unit to be ounted. Please ensure the selected location
is away fro any oving parts and is as far fro the engine
as possible.
4. Check to see if the provided LINK cable reaches both
selected locations (USER INTERFACE and HUB locations).
5. Mount the HUB with the provided screws.
NOTE - Before drilling any holes please ake sure that you
are not going to be drilling through any wires or co ponents
on the other side of the ounting area.
6. Connect the LINK cable to the HUB.
7. Connect the provided red cable with the ring ter inal and
inline fuse to the Positive “+” ter inal of the battery and route
it to the HUB. Cut the wire to the required length, splice the
wire to expose the strands and connect it to the screw
ter inal arked as INPUT, BATT + on the HUB.
8. Connect the provided blue cable with the inline fuse to the
accessory power wire with the provided splice connector and
route it to the HUB. Cut the wire to the required length, splice
the wire to expose the strands and connect it to the screw
ter inal arked as INPUT, ACC on the HUB.
9. The OUTPUT arked on the HUB with nu bers 1 through 6
are the ter inals where the wires for each of the wired
accessory relays positive inputs (usually arked as no. 86
pin on the relay) are to be connected. The nu bers on the
HUB correspond to the SWITCH no of the USER
INTERFACE.

10.Installing the USER INTERFACE
controlR co es with a provided ounting solution in the for
of a two ball design and a cnc achined alu iniu base.
The base of the ount is to be secured to the predecided
ounting location with the provided screws.
NOTE - Before drilling any holes please ake sure that you
are not going to be drilling through any wires or co ponents
on the other side of the ounting area.
Once the ounting is securely in place the wing nut on the
ounting can be loosened by hand and the M6 stud fro the
ounting unit can be treaded to the USER INTERFACE. A
te porary tread locker can be used on this M6 stud. After the
USER INTERFACE is ounted on the ount it can be
angled to be perpendicular to the line of sight and the wing
nut tightened by hand. Pliers can be used to tighten the wing
nut by using a thick cloth between the pliers and the wing nut
to avoid any da age to it.
11.Connect the provided black cable with the ring ter inal to the
negative battery ter inal and route it to the HUB. Cut the wire
to the required length, splice the wire to expose the strands
and connect it to the screw ter inal arked as INPUT, BATT
- on the HUB.
12.Once all wiring and ounting has been co pleted the
negative ter inal of the battery can be connected.
NOTE – Before connecting back the negative ter inal
please ake sure to re ove the key fro your vehicle as
so e vehicles with central locking ay lock when powered
up.

USER MANUAL
TURNING ON THE DEVICE
Fro factory the device
is set to turn on with the
key turned to the
accessory ON position.
The device powers on
displaying the controlR
logo which fades into
the ain screen.

MAIN SCREEN
The ain screen displays
the six switches which
control the accessory
relays, controlR logo and
battery voltage display.
Touch to any of the
switches turns on or off
the accessory relay
connected to the
corresponding switch
output at the HUB. Touch
to the controlR logo takes
you to the SETUP
screen. Touching the
voltage display area for
ore than 1.5 seconds
turns off the device. To turn back on the device the screen can be
touched anywhere on the screen for 1 second.
SETUP SCREEN
The SETUP screen has
four para eters that can
be adjusted which are:-
“LINK”, “POWER”,
“ICON”, and “SCREEN”
touch on any of these
enters the particular
selected sub SETUP
page.

LINK SETUP SCREEN
On the LINK screen you
have the option of linking
switch 1 through switch 5 to
switch 6. Touch of the LINK
button will link the
corresponding switch to
switch 6. In this way one or
all switches can be linked to
switch 6. After the desired
switches are linked the back
button will take you back to
the SETUP screen.
POWER SETUP SCREEN
On the power setup screen the first option is selecting between
device
powered with
key in
accessory ON
position or
directly fro
the battery.
The other sub
setup on this
screen is the
cut off voltage.

Fro factory the cut off
voltage is set to 11.2 volts
which eans as soon as
the battery voltage drops
to 11.2 volts the device
will turn off all accessory
relays that are powered on
at the ti e for one second
and turn back on for one
second and repeat this
once again and leave the
relays turned back on for
the next 90 seconds after
which the device and all
accessory relays will be
switched OFF. The cut off
protection will work in both
battery ode and with the
key in accessory on
position ode. The user
can change the cut off
voltage by using the “+”
and “-” keys and then save
the setting by touching the
save button. This
adjustability is useful if the
cut off voltage is set
higher in case of an older
battery.
NOTE - With power in battery ode there is a continuous drain of
power which over ti e can render the battery dead if the vehicle is
not used for a certain period of ti e. It is advisable to use this
ode only when it is required to have a certain accessory on
without the key.

ICON SETUP SCREEN
Here you can
touch the ICON
button for the
corresponding
switch for which
you would like to
add or change
the ICON.
Touch to the
Icon button
changes the
screen to the
ICON selection
screen. At the
top of the screen
the SWITCH for
which the ICON is being selected is displayed below that is the
current selection area followed by the ICONS available.
On the botto right corner is
the ore button which
changes the screen for ore
ICON options. Once the
desired ICON is touched it
gets displayed on the ICON
selection area. Any of the
ICON's can be selected by
touching on it. After selecting
the desired ICON the save
button at the botto of the
screen should be touched to
save the selected ICON. Once
the save button is touched
SAVED is displayed on the
screen.
NOTE - If the ICON is not saved it will not be displayed the next
ti e the device is turned on.

SCREEN SETUP SCREEN
At the top of the screen is the brightness slider. Sliding the slider to
the left will reduce the brightness and to the right will increase it.
Fro factory the
brightness is at
100%. Below the
brightness slider are
two buttons the one
on the left with the
key icon which is in
the ON state fro the
factory is the button
which lets you select
if the screen should
turn on with the
vehicle key being
turned to the
accessory on position
or it should re ain
OFF and turn ON by
touching the screen anywhere for 1.5 seconds. If the button is in the
ON position the screen will turn on with the key.
The button on the right is the sleep ti er
ON OFF button. With the sleep ti er
turned on the ti er can be set with the “+”
and “-” buttons in incre ents of 15
seconds up to a axi u of 120
seconds. With the sleep ti er on the
screen is set to sleep after the set a ount
of ti e elapses after the last touch of the
screen. To wake up the screen the screen
can be touched anywhere. Any SWITCH
that is ON before the screen goes into
sleep ode will re ain ON until its turned
OFF or power to the device is switched
OFF. This feature is especially useful to
avoid distraction while driving.

After changes have
been ade to the
settings on this screen
the save button should
be touched to save all
settings on this screen.
NOTE – The screen turn ON with key in accessory ON position and
the sleep ti e will not work with the POWER ode in BATTERY
MODE.
UPDATING THE DEVICE
When updates are available on the
website you can download the onto
your co puter and transfer the to a
icro sd card. Before uploading to a
icro sd card ake sure there are no
other files on the icro sd card and that
its co pletely e pty.
Go to the power setup screen of
controlR and set it to power on with key
in accessory on position.
With the device OFF insert the icro sd
card into the slot on the USER

INTERFACE side with the contacts of the icro sd card facing
towards you. The slot is spring loaded and the icro sd will need to
be pushed in till it locks in place.
Turn ON the key to power up the device. The device will begin
updating. When the device is updated turn OFF the power by
turning OFF the key and re ove the icro sd card by pushing it in
to release. The next power up of the device will be with the update
installed.
NOTE – Make sure the power ode is in “power ON with key in
accessory on position” ode.
FACTORY RESET
The device can
be reset to
factory settings
by first ensuring
that the device is
not in BATTERY
POWER ode
and then go to
the SETUP
screen and
touch the area
arked as
SETUP for two
seconds.
The reset pop up
will appear with
the option of going ahead with the reset or cancelling. To cancel
touch the NO button. To reset touch the YES button. By touching the
YES button you will loose all changes ade to the settings including
switch ICONs and the device will reset to its original factory state.
Once the YES button is touched the screen will shut down and will
need to be restarted by turning off the key and again turning the key
in to the accessory ON position.

TIPS
RIGHT WAY TO USE THE SCREEN
Using the pad of your finger on a
resistive touch screen is an ineffective
way of trying to operate the screen.
Using the tip of your finger to operate a
resistive touch screen is the right and
effective way of operating the screen.
The screen can be used with wet hands and with gloves.
