OPERATION
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Open the battery cap.
2. Install the battery with correct polar positioning.
3. Close the battery cap tightly.
POWER ON AND OFF
Remove the probe cover to switch on the thermometer. Insert the probe cover to switch off.
SELECT TEMPERATURE UNIT
Open the battery cover and switch C or F under the battery.
TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
Probe into test substance about 25mm / 1'' minimum and get the reading when it becomes stable.
DATA HOLD FUNCTION
1. Press [HOLD] to retain display reading, C or F flashing.
2. Press [HOLD] again to display normally.
MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM READING MEMORY
1. Press [MAX/MIN] to display maximum recorded reading.
2. Press the button again to display minimum recorded reading.
3. Press the button once more to display normally.
4. To reset the memory, Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until a bar “---.-” is displayed.
5. Always reset the memory once before taking new readings.
TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION
1. Press [MAX/MIN] and [HOLD] buttons together and hold about 5 seconds until display and flash “CAL” 2
seconds, then enter into the calibration mode.
2. Press [MAX/MIN] or [HOLD] to set the temperature error.
3. Press [MAX/MIN] and [HOLD] buttons together again to confirm the setting and exit the calibration mode.
*The adjustable temperature error range is -2.2~+2.2C (-4~+4F).
*You can set the temperature error in 0C or any temperature point.

*The temperature error value is “0” in case of first power on or battery replacement.
*For example, if the temperature error is set at -2C, all the temperature points will reduce 2C automatically.
When the temperature of the object is 100C, the current temperature reading would become 98C after the
temperature error of -2C was set.
NOTE:
1. Clean the probe immediately with cleaning wipes after each measurement to avoid cross contamination.
2. Tightening up the battery cap after battery replacement to ensure the water resistant function.
3. Do not operate the thermometer in the environmental temperature lower than 0C / 32F or higher than
50C / 122F otherwise incorrect readings or damage to the thermometer may result.
