Batteries (setup an care):
Your TX16S Ra io Transmitter is elivere with the LiPo battery unplugge for safety uring
transportation. Open the battery case an connect the LiPo battery to the Ra io Transmitter. Close
the battery case. Please fully charge the Ra io Transmitter before first use.
The TX16S Ra io Transmitter has 2 USB ports.
•The USB port at the top is a ata port for connecting to computer. (Simulator mo e [HID] or
Data transfer mo e [Mass storage])
•The USB port at the bottom (un er a pull up strip) is a charging port for charging the Ra io
Transmitter battery.
For faster charging you can also charge the battery using an external balance charger. Please
isconnect the battery from Ra io transmitter before connecting to an external charger.
Battery care tips:
•The Helicopter LiPo batteries are shippe at storage charge (50%). Please fully charge the
helicopter battery before any flight. It is recommen e to use a balance charger at 1C (max
2C if in a hurry).
•Avoi quick charge programs. They will cause the cells to go out of balance with time.
•Don’t leave battery charging process unatten e . There is always risk of heating an fire so
you must be present nearby to take proper action if that happens.
•Always use a flight timer epen ing on your flying style an ensure that battery is never
ischarge less than 25% capacity. (about 3.73V per cell)
•When not in use for prolonge perio s, charge all LiPo batteries to storage charge (50%
charge 3.86V per cell).
•Following these simple rules will ensure your batteries are in goo health an you can have
many flights with them.

Ra io Switch Assignment (OMPHobby mo e):
Switch position guide: ↑ (away from you), - (middle), ↓ (towards you)
Throttle hol switch: SG (↑Arme , -Throttle cut, ↓Throttle cut)
Flight mo e switch: SE (↑Norm, -I leup1, ↓I leup2)
Self level switch: SA (↑Self level ON, -Self level OFF, ↓Self level OFF)
Flight timer reset switch: SH (↑Timer active, ↓Timer reset)
Volume Control: S2 knob
Flight timer: 3.5 mins, Haptic count own at 10 secon s
Start up proce ure:
1. Make sure that all switches are in home position. Away from you.
2. Turn ON the Ra io.
3. Once Ra io is turne ON, Engage Throttle hol switch (SG).
4. Ensure that Self level mo e is OFF (SA in mi le or towar s you)
5. Ensure that correct mo el is chosen on screen “OMP M1 OMP” or “OMP M2 OMP”
epen ing on what helicopter you want to fly.
NOTE: There is no model matching feature so it will still bind with the helicopter even if
you choose the wrong model Please double check that the chosen model on the Radio
Transmitter is same as the model you want to fly

7. Place the Helicopter on a level surface an plug in the battery to the Helicopter. Wait for
gyro initialization to complete. It will in icate with beeps an twitching servos.
8. Move Aileron, Elevator an Collective Pitch sticks on Ra io an check if servos are moving
in right or er an irection.
9. Fix the canopy on Helicopter.
10. Place the helicopter on the groun (flat surface) from where you want to take off.
11. Ensure that Flight mo e switch (SE) is in Normal mo e position. (Lowest position or
Farthest away from you)
12. Ensure throttle stick is at zero.
13. Disengage Throttle Hol switch (SG). Helicopter rotor will not yet start as throttle is zero
when throttle stick is own in Normal mo e.
14. Increase throttle stick to near center an wait for RPM to stabilize.
15. Now you can take off an fly the helicopter.
Flying the Helicopter (tips):
•Never fly near people or animals or objects as it increases the chances of crash an injury.
•Always practice on the simulator till you are 100% confi ent an only then try it on the
mo el helicopter. Don’t try new maneuvers first on the mo el helicopter as it increases
chances of a crash.
•Always keep a finger rea y on throttle hol switch to engage it just before a crash to
minimize crash amage.
•If you loose orientation you can make use of self level mo e to level the helicopter right si e
up. I woul suggest to avoi epen ing on this mo e. Simulator practice is the best
investment you can make in this hobby.
Lan ing Proce ure:
1. Put helicopter in Normal mo e for lowest RPM. Flight mo e switch (SE) away from you.
2. Gently bring the helicopter to the lan ing spot an close to the groun . Choose a level
surface with no nearby obstacles for the lan ing spot.
3. Once the helicopter is a few centimeters from the groun , re uce throttle gently so
Helicopter lan s softly on the groun .
4. Engage throttle hol (SG towar s you). This will prevent acci ental spool-up if throttle stick
or I le mo e switch acci entally toggles.
Flight Timer Reset:
You can quickly reset the flight timer by timer reset switch (SH). Reset the flight timer only after
replacing the battery on the mo el with a fully charge one.
Self level mo e:
Self level mo e is use to get the helicopter to right si e up an self level orientation from whatever
orientation. Self level mo e can be entere by self level switch SA.
As a beginner you may start with self level mo e but it is not recommen e to practice in this mo e
as you will not evelop correct hovering skills. It is recommen e to use this mo e only as a rescue
mo e if you loose orientation in flight so you have time to recover.

Happy Flying!
Changelog:
