Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Then insert

the cover and screw it in place.
Installing the Transmitter Batteries
Transmitter Instructions
1. Press the On/Off button on the transmitter to turn it on. Press and hold the power button on the Jetpack
(see drawing above for location of the on/off switch) until the LED lights are blinking. Move the left stick
up till you hear a beep, then move it all the way down until you hear another beep. The transmitter is now
paired with the Jetpack and the lights will turn solid.
2. After pairing, with the Jetpack on the ground, press the Take Off/Land button or move the left stick up to
take off. To avoid ground effect turbulence, ascend to at least 12” (30cm) from the ground. Press the Take
Off/Land button again and the Jetpack will slowly descend, land and turn the motors off.
3. Push the left stick up to ascend, push the left stick down to descend. Push the left stick left/right to
rotate.
4. Push the right stick up to move forward, push the right stick down to move backward. Push the right
stick left/right to move left or right.
5. Forward/Backward Trim: If the Jetpack tends to move forward, press the Backward Trim button several
times until the Jetpack no longer moves forward on its own. Press the Forward
backward on its own.
6. Left/Right Trim: If the Jetpack drifts right, press the left trim button; if it drifts left, press the right trim
button.
7. Dual Rates: Press the button on the right top of the transmitter to change from low to high rate. The
controller will beep twice. High rates increases the sensitivity for increased manueverability. Press the
rates until they are comfortable with the controls.

Calibration Instructions
2. Place the Jetpack on level ground, turn it on and pair with the
transmitter.
3. Move the left stick all the way down and the right stick all the way up.
Hold them there until the LED lights on the Jetpack stop blinking
and remain solid.
4. The calibration process is now complete and the Jetpack is ready
to take off.
Battery Notes

• Do not leave batteries in hot places such as an automobile in direct sunlight.
• Do not mix new and used batteries, or install used batteries in other equipment.
• Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc), or Rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) or
• (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries.
• Do not reverse the polarity (positive and negative terminals) of batteries.
• For best results use type AAA batteries.
• Install only new batteries of the same type in your product.
• Batteries should be recycled or disposed of per state and local guidelines.
