1 Introduction
Dear customer,
Congratulations on your new iVario. Read the operating instructions carefully prior to using your unit for the first
time. The operating instructions are there to ensure that you use the unit safely. Keep these operating instructions
in a place that is accessible at all times to anyone who will be using the unit.
The iVario is one of the most modern cooking systems for maximum productivity, flexibility and simplicity when
boiling, frying, deep-frying and pressure cooking. The unique heating technology provides maximum power and
precision and, thanks to intelligent cooking assistant systems, you will achieve outstanding food quality every time
without any monitoring or checking.

1.4 Intended use
The iVario has been developed for the preparation of hot food.
This unit may only be used commercially, such as in restaurant kitchens and large and commercial kitchens in
hospitals, schools or butcheries. This unit may not be used outdoors. This unit may not be used for continuous
industrial mass production of food.
All other uses are contrary to the intended purpose, and may be dangerous. RATIONAL AG assumes no liability for
the consequences of using the unit contrary to the intended use.
